- Ame vs Guy
- this was too fucking long i'm not doing point by point my brain will melt
- Batman vs Deku
- I somewhat enjoyed the argumentation in this matchup in particular, more than the others. I think the aspersions cast on Batman were generally good until the point that Ame rebutted them. I don't think Guy's position was a winning one; Batman clearly seemed to have the capability of fighting Superman when he weakened him, made that trench by some method of physical force rather than an esoteric, and though the bullets are clearly weird as hell, they're probably bullet-ish speed, and as such Batman's speed is "not slow".
- The whole skill argument seemed to be completely unanswered by Guy, and I think Deku, despite having the endurance to fight through significant injuries, and despite having some pretty excellent resistance to the esoteric attacks Batman uses, is unlikely to be allowed to get back up from the hits. I think the stealth point was pretty clearly in Ame's favor, as well, so summarily Batman has the initiative, the combat skill, and the stats to beat Deku.
- Point to Ame.
- Superboy vs Loz
- I think this matchup is fairly cut and dry; Ame demonstrated in no uncertain terms that his character is fast, strong, durable, etc. Loz is probably good, but I think the main weakness he has is that his striking seems to come from the pile bunker, which it also seems that Superboy can TTK apart without much recourse on Loz's end. Even if Loz can dodge, his striking without it doesn't actually exist. Even if Loz gets the first hit, I don't think Superboy goes down to the first hit or any particular subsequent hits. Loz can definitely take a large amount of hits from Superboy, but I think Superboy takes away Loz's striking tool pretty early on.
- Whether or not Loz is dumb doesn't matter because he isn't dumb at fighting, Tifa scaling doesn't matter because he 100% smokes her when he's done fucking around, scaling to Reno or whatever probably doesn't matter but if it did it would be bad. The durability arguments from Guy pertaining to Superboy were a little wack, but not entirely meritless, it just didn't seem to me that it would matter much.
- Brick vs Brick when one brick doesn't hit as hard as the other one.
- Point to Ame.
- Geo-Force vs Doctor Octopus
- This matchup was half fun, half hell, talking about how everyone's powers worked and what increased gravity does and whatever the hell. My thoughts on that were, Geo-Force is probably strong and not just using geokinesis for all the feats, but even if he were it wouldn't matter that much because he can command some significant, tierish level of force with it; the gravity affecting Ock is probably real and probably sucks for him; Geo-Force can probably just modulate the gravity of the arms and tear them apart, or otherwise he could beat them apart with strength or geokinesis; Geo-Force is probably fast because I generally accept Ame's framing of how the powers work; the geokinesis from the ground definitely does not matter at all.
- So with the information given above that I believe Geo-Force can do a lot of things that fuck with Ock, I think Geo-Force has many ways to beat Ock and Ock has not that many to beat Geo-Force that couldn't be outright countered by Geo-Force.
- Point to Ame.
- Ame 3-0 Guy
