I'm sorry to wake you up but... I had a nightmare... and I'm really scared... Can I sleep in your bed?

I know I'm old enough now to sleep in my own bed, but I'm really scared the monsters are going to get me. Can I please sleep with you? Just for tonight?

B-But... Master... I don't think I can go back to sleep without you. Every time I close my eyes all I see are the monsters... So please, just... let me stay with you?

*sheet rustling SFX*

Well... I dreamed that you had gone to work like you usually do, but then when you were supposed to come back you just... didn't. Then it started getting dark and I heard knocking at the door, I opened it and it was a monster! I tried to run, but it caught me... I woke up before anything bad happened, but I still can see its scary face and every time I close my eyes that's all I can see!

I know monsters aren't real, but that doesn't help me stop seeing it!

I know I can be annoying sometimes... and needy... and whiny... but you wouldn't ever leave me, would you? You wouldn't leave me to get eaten by monsters, right?
