  1. Khalthall says, "Hey Tanka."
  2. Tanka says, "...."
  3. Tanka says, "I need one of you to beat me near death..."
  4. Tanka says, "Or try to do it"
  5. Sting asks, " Why...?"
  6. Tanka says, "I need to understand greater pain..."
  7. Tanka says, "I need to understand being on the verge of the end."
  8. Sting says, " So you want us to beat you nearly to death? Sure! "
  9. Tanka says, "You will have to fight me."
  10. Tanka says, "With all you have..."
  11. Tanka asks, "Did you think it be that simple?"
  12. Sting says, " You sure make it seem like it...."
  13. Sting says, " I can't sit on my ass trying to recover....i'll take you on."
  14. Tanka asks, "Now then are any of you willing to sacrifce your limbs for greater power?"
  15. Tanka says, "I take you both on if needed to push my belief"
  16. Khalthall exclaims, "Hmm.. Well- not what I had planned for the evening. But thanks for the offer, big guy!"
  17. Sting says, " Hmph. I don't need someone like -that-. I'll take you on and down by myself."
  18. Khalthall takes a few steps closer to the cave and gives a wave to Sting.
  19. (Khalthall)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. Tanka says, "Then come."
  23. Khalthall says, "Good luck~"
  24. The man would clear his mind. He would go into a dream state. He would allow the presence of the energies of this land into his body. The past elders back at home. The leaders back at home. His ancestors of Naguals. He would let their power and might flow into him..
  25.
  26. His eyes remain closed.
  27.
  28. His body would collect more energy over and over.
  29.
  30. It screamed murder and also pain. It spoke of hatred and also respect. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. Tanka simply would let the spirits take him body and move him.
  31. (Tanka )
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. How long would he rest?
  35.
  36. He couldn't just sit around, waiting for chances to become stronger. Doing what he's always done in Ardent, simply sitting by and practicing his magic like a complete loser. No, no more! As of now, he had to fight harder and a lot smarter than ever before. With Tanka's appearance, he was surely going to make sure that happened. Sting decided to follow the man to the fighting area, and once there he'd see the strong look upon their face. The aura they held that gave off so much strength behind it.
  37.
  38. He trembled.
  39.
  40. How strong Tanka had been was unknown, and the magic he was even using was something Sting had only been practicing every now and again. Did he really want to go through something like this again? Another injury...? He held his head, thinking of how that had went before remembering those that pushed him around and such. How he was made a fool out of, it was embarrassing! He'd clench his fist, and soon after move on to grabbing his staff and pointing it at the man. Darkness began to form around the staff before moving over and completely engulfing Sting within it.
  41.
  42. Now lightning began to crackle at the tip of the staff, a crimson bolt firing off towards the man, their fight was starting now.
  43. (Sting)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. The two would be quite similar. They hated being looked down upon. They hated others walking over them. Hated how they laughed and made fun. Tanka simply hated it all. Being struck and hit. He would let the rage of his ancestors hit him over and over.
  47.
  48. Smashing the boy back. Slamming his spear into him. The energy ball of magic sending him flying. Tanka would let the rage of his hunger out. He would smash his head against the boy's face as lightning would strike him.
  49.
  50. Tanka eyes were white. His body guided by the hands of energy. By those who he praised and wanted to become. Tanka wanted it all.
  51.
  52. "I need more!"
  53.
  54. The two would keep hitting one another. It was a bloody battle. Slashes on the lad while Tanka was hit with a lot of lightning. Tanka blood dripped as he wanted more.
  55.
  56. He would send the boy flying with a hard fist. He felt his body shaking. Yet, this was not enough. Close but not enough. He would sit down and then go back to a meditative state.
  57.
  58. Going back to the old memories.
  59. (Tanka )
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. Zap!
  63.
  64. It was the first sound made as the two fought, the crimson lightning immediately smacking Tanka and shocking him, though only somewhat. The man was still able to overpower this and make his way to Sting. Quickly swinging his spear and punching away as if this fight were to the death or something! Then again, the man spoke of being completely serious and even limb breaking/taking serious during this fight, Sting had to adjust.
  65.
  66. He continued to move "Faster...Faster! More more!" he'd think to himself as he stumbled across the floor. Forcing his magics to go to work as they'd smack the man around if only a little, though to no avail. In the end, it was a punch that sent Sting flying back onto the ground, he could feel his head banging in that moment. He began to cringe, though, quickly stood back up onto his feet as he looked to Tanka who began to meditate even now, just after a fight!
  67.
  68. "Y-You're strong..." Sting would say, with some jealousy of course, but also just stating a fact. "Teach me. Give me tips and just teach me about that magic, energy magic." he recalled the small bit he used during their fight, it was OK, but Sting knew it could be better. "Any tips, training procedures...anything at all about that magic would be a great help to me, sir." he tried to show a bit of respect, especially since he was asking something of the man.
  69.
  70. "I am Sting, by the way." a nod given. He almost forgot Strilken's rule of introducing himself. Then again it wasn't like he actually did so when they first met, but whatever. He did it!
  71. (Sting)
  72. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  73.
  74. Tanka would open his eyes. The yellow gaze showing.
  75.
  76. "This magic is obtain through many means. You can have great calmness or emotion that makes you want to burst. Mine is through torture, revenge, regret and also pain. I gain this magic by the agony of letting others look down upon me. Making them see that I'm weak. Then I grew stronger and stronger I was cut and delimbed. As I was tortured and beaten day in and out."
  77.
  78. Tanka had no regrets.
  79.
  80. "I lost many battles and it empowered my rage. It molded me to becoming a great weapon for my god Ixchel. I shall grow stronger and stronger than gain his blessing. I shall become a symbol of pain and torture. A symbol that would make all know the Nagual god is the ultimate god."
  81.
  82. Indeed he was very connected to his people.
  83.
  84. "You want this power understand what you desre. understand what emotions erupts that feeling in you. Let it swallow you and then overcome it. Control it. Become one with your inner self."
  85. (Tanka )
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. Pain? Torture?
  89.
  90. There was a lot that Sting could only sort of relate to, but not on the level Tanka was speaking of. Sure his brain damaged scenario was rather frightening, and even more it was a pain to have to deal with even now. Thinking about those that didn't help him, that just sat around doing nothing while his bloody wound had to damn near just heal on its own, and only a little help from the holy magi. At least she tried, but still...There was so much wrong about it all, Sting was going to make sure to get things right.
  91.
  92. A nod was given to the man once he finished speaking, emotions, what one went through and what they really wanted could help shape and master this magic. It was interesting and rather doable. Sting needed to train more. "Thank y-" his head began to pound once again. It seems he needed even more rest than before. He'd give a weak smile to the young man before nodding his head. "I should be going as of now. I only recently had surgery." he tapped at his forehead to indicate where he had surgery of course.
  93.
  94. "Thank you again, for the fight. It was helpful." he began to walk then. Having to now deal with his headache as well as the hurtful bruise he felt on his chest from the mans punch. Damn was he strong.
  95. (Sting)
  96. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  97.
  98. Tanka says, "..."
  99. Tanka says, "Let them ignore you."
  100. Tanka says, "Grow and then....show them they are below you."
  101. Sting stops, heeds the mans words for a moment before giving a nod. Maybe his hot-headed ways weren't the way to go then? He'd show his strength in due time. Another nod was given to the man then before Sting would begin to walk out of the arena.
  102. (Sting)
