  1. Day of the Hitlers
  2.
  3. Jake stood at the window, his rifle clutched tightly in his hands as he watched the throngs of Hitlers outside. They were swarming the gas station, their blank, soulless eyes fixed on the building as they pounded on the doors and windows. The Hitlers were all identical, with their distinctive black uniforms and Nazi insignias, their faces twisted into snarls of hatred and fanaticism.
  4.
  5. As one of the Hitlers almost broke through the window, shouting, "The great masses of the people will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one," Jake and the other survivors retreated to the back of the store, barricading themselves behind a stack of shelves and supplies.
  6.
  7. Rachel nodded, her face grim. "We'll have to make a run for it. We'll have to fight our way through them if we want to survive."
  8.
  9. But Ben was shaking his head, his eyes wide with fear. "We can't fight them all. There are too many of them. We have to find another way out."
  10.
  11. As the Hitlers continued to pound on the doors and windows, one of them managed to break through the barricade and enter the store. He stood there, a menacing figure with a sneering grin on his face, as he began to spew more of their hateful rhetoric.
  12.
  13. "Only a state built on a national, socialist foundation can be a really free and independent state," he said, his voice dripping with hatred and fanaticism.
  14.
  15. Jake grabbed Ben by the arm, trying to calm him down. "We have to stay strong, Ben. We can't let them get to us. We have to stay together and fight."
  16.
  17. But Ben was beyond reason, his fear and panic taking over. With a wild cry, he broke free from Jake's grip and rushed towards the door, throwing it open and charging into the throngs of Hitlers outside.
  18.
  19. Jake and Rachel watched in horror as Ben was quickly overwhelmed by the clone army, their hateful words and slogans filling the air as they took him down.
  20.
  21. "The unity of a nation's spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an individual," the mass of Hitlers said in unison, their voices echoing through the gas station.
  22.
  23. Jake turned to Rachel, his face grim. "We have to go after him. We can't let them win."
  24.
  25. With a fierce battle cry, Jake and Rachel charged towards the door, ready to fight their way through the clone army and survive the "Day of the Hitlers."
