IMAGINE waking up every day with the sun SHINING in your face and nature singing through your ears. there’s no one calling your phone looking for you or demanding you come into work. that sounds perfect, right?

for the inhabitants, life could not be more EASY. granted, the simple pleasures in life such as phones, tv, running water do not exist in this PARADISE (or can’t without stable electricity) but who needs materialistic items when you have the beach in your backyard? hunting, farming and fishing are all done daily to provide meals for everyone in the small community. everyone works together to assure that the other is taken care of, including monthly runs to the mainland to purchase essentials for survival, such as batteries, alcohol and tampons/pads, etc.

the community is maintained by a LEADER and their second in command to regulate the behavior of the inhabitants and assure that no one else finds their slice of paradise [also not to upset the farmers around the community that merely tolerate the members]. everyone else works together to keep the community afloat and SAFE from outsiders or those that have gotten unruly. once a week there is a community meeting to discuss issues or ideas on how to make the community better for everyone.

everyone is hiding secrets from their past life but no one seems to care. this is paradise we’re talking about!

but don’t forget about the SHARKS. your life could be over in an instant if you turn your back on the ocean.
