Carrot Top sat down by the dresser in Rarity’s bedroom, exhausted after the long journey. She hadn’t seen any sign of the mare since she and the others had entered the house, but naturally assumed that she would come to her own room eventually.

As she waited, Carrot Top took notice of Rarity’s pair of slippers. To her, they were enormous, big enough to probably fit multiple ponies of her size on one of their plush soles. She approached them, her curiosity getting the better of her.

She climbed up into the left slipper. The insole felt nice and soft under her hooves, like how she imagined it must be like for a pegasus on a cloud. It smelled lightly of musk, but covered by the scent of lavender, no doubt from whatever soap Rarity used.

Actually, with how soft the slipper was, it seemed like a good place to lie down to rest. Carrot Top could just let one of the others get Rarity’s attention. Until then, she could have a good nap.

She had lied down and had begun to doze off when the door opened.

Rarity walked into her bedroom, using her magic to grab her robe off the it’s hook on the backside of the door. She slipped into it as she approached her slippers.

She put a hoof into the right one first.

Carrot Top was startled awake as Rarity entered, her steps shaking the ground. The great mare approached, slipping a pink robe onto her white form as she came right towards the pony turned bug.

The bug stood up as a massive hoof stepped into the slipper next to the one she occupied. As she began to run, she tripped onto her face, sealing her fate as the hoof’s twin came down upon her.

The fashionista smiled as her hooves began to sink into the plush insole of her slippers. But, as she began to walk, she felt a slight lump under her left hoof...

The former pony let out what would be a scream were she was still a full-sized pony, a sound that the mighty mare would have heard. But, at her new size, she might as well have been as silent as other bugs who were meeting their doom. At least they were smart enough to stay away from where a real pony’s hoof would be.

The pressure upon her body was unimaginable. Every step was constant pain as her tiny form held the weight of Rarity’s body on it. Only the slipper’s soft sole kept her from being obliterated.

Suddenly, the weight was taken off her for longer than usual, and she thought that maybe the mare had noticed the pony in her slipper.
The real outcome was, probably, for the best. For if the real pony had noticed her, then the bug that had been Carrot Top would have learned she was no longer a pony anymore.

She let out another would be scream as she felt herself descend again, much faster than ever before. She met her end as the slipper met the ground.

Rarity let out a relaxed sigh as she left her bedroom, a good stomp having flatten out what must have been some displace foam within the slipper. She descended the stairs, noticing the open front door, but not the two bugs that used to be her sister and friend.

The shrunken pair trembled as the mare approached.
