  1. [06:03] * Blackout stumbles through the door. Groaning before collapsing. They are in a subway tunnel that has cracked walls and debris about. It is decently dark and grimy.
  2. [06:05] * Proverb squeaks. "B-Blackout, are you ok?"
  3. [06:05] * Blackout climbs to his hoofs, he is a stallion again. "Yes... just... sudden loss of... things and replacement with... things..." he groans.
  4. [06:06] * Proverb blushes. "Oh..."
  5. [06:08] * Blackout adjusts his officers cap. "And... and for the record... try not to blow my marefriend yes?"
  6. [06:09] * Proverb just squeaks.
  7. [06:10] * Blackout smirks. "Let us be honest, you were soooooooo thinking of it!"
  8. [06:11] * Proverb meeps, blushing so much it looked like she /was/ red.
  9. [06:13] * Blackout snickers before straightening his uniform. "Welcome to the underground miss Proverb, follow me." he starts down the tunnel.
  10. [06:15] * Proverb trots after Blackout, looking around the tunnel. For every step Blackout took, she had to take two.
  11. [06:17] <~Blackout> Soon they reach a very large metal door, not near as fancy as a stable door, but damned large. "And here we are. The airlock."
  12. [06:17] * Proverb looks up at it. So much bigger than she was!
  13. [06:18] <~Blackout> It only covers the entire tunnel. Blackout stops. "Three... two... one..."
  14. [06:21] * Proverb blinks.
  15. [06:21] <~Blackout> The meager light above them goes out. Movement can be heard around them, lots of movement.
  16. [06:22] * Proverb eeps, and cowers at Blackout's hooves.
  17. [06:22] <~Blackout> The lights comes back on, except now surrounded by eight heavily armed ponies in combat armor wearing nightvision goggles.
  18. [06:24] * Proverb latches onto Blackout's leg! She was terrified.
  19. [06:25] <~Blackout> The soldiers look at them for a few moments before their weapons lower and the airlock starts to lumber open.
  20. [06:30] * Blackout picks Proverb up and sets her on his back. "Proverb. You are in no shape to do this today, I am calling it off."
  21. [06:31] * Proverb shakes her head. "No! I, I can do it!"
  22. [06:31] * Blackout frowns. "You broke rule number one already."
  23. [06:33] * Proverb protests! "But I can do it! Really!"
  24. [06:34] * Proverb jumps off of Blackout's back, stomping her little hooves in defiance!
  25. [06:35] <~Blackout> "You can I think yes, but not today." he trots past the airlock into run down station with supplies up on the and many barricades with mounted machine guns.
  26. [06:36] <~Blackout> A mouse comes from some of the rubble and starts climbing up one of Proverb's fetlocks.
  27. [06:38] * Proverb looks slowly down at the mouse, pulling it off her hoof, and throwing it at the nearest wall.
  28. [06:39] * Blackout smiles pleasantly but then it faulters. He hears something. "Proverb... come here now please..."
  29. [06:39] * Proverb grumbles, the whiskey she had drank earlier starting to have an effect on her. She looks up, and starts trotting towards Blackout. "What is it?"
  30. [06:40] <~Blackout> A scuttling can be heard above her, followed by a horribly unequine howl.
  31. [06:41] * Proverb jumps, glancing around and whipping her sniper rifle up. "Blackout! What was that?!"
  32. [06:42] * Blackout looks around casually now that she was trotting past the airlock, which is closing behind her. "Snork."
  33. [06:43] * Proverb looks up at Blackout. "What're those?"
  34. [06:44] <~Blackout> "Monsters. Make ghouls look like a carnival ride."
  35. [06:45] * Proverb blinks. "Oh... Are they hard to kill?"
  36. [06:45] * Blackout shrugs. "Depends on what variations."
  37. [06:46] * Proverb nods. "What sort of variations?"
  38. [06:51] <~Blackout> "Some can fly, some are just... tougher... and some of them have really, really loud shrieks."
  39. [06:53] * Proverb nods. "Oh, what else is there here?"
  40. [06:53] * Blackout considers. "Bandits, ghouls, centurions, spectres, snorks, watchers..."
  41. [06:54] <Proverb> "So a lot?"
  42. [06:56] <~Blackout> "Everything wants you dead, and to be honest, I'm not sure I want to see that happen."
  43. [06:58] <Proverb> "I wouldn't want to see that eitheir, but nearly everything wants me dead already anyway..."
  44. [07:00] * Blackout trots along, hopping up onto the platform, past a group of soldiers chatting around a fire. "See I am concerned that perhaps you aren't fit for this sort of thing."
  45. [07:03] <Proverb> "I, can understand why." She hangs her head. "But, life on the surface has been so, so traumatizing..." She trails off, fighting back the tears. "S-sorry." She mutters. "Just give me time to adjust, please. I promise you won't be disappointed."
  46. [07:04] * Blackout looks back at Proverb. "Then when I say you need time, listen to me. What I say is generally in your best interest."
  47. [07:11] * Proverb nods slowly. "But, I don't want to wait around! I need to do something!" She pauses. "Look, if you give me the test now, and I pass, can I stay? Please? If I don't pass I'll take time off, get adjusted. Please?" He eyes pleaded with Blackout.
  48. [07:12] <Proverb> Her*
  49. [07:12] * Blackout sighs, seeming to have a mental battle.
  50. [07:15] * Blackout shakes his head. "Alright... Proverb...."
  51. [07:17] * Proverb smiles, actually smiles at Blackout. Probably the first time he's seen her do that. "Thank you."
  52. [07:18] * Blackout turns and trots further into the derelict looking station. Ascending a flight of stairs to a small room with many cameras, the rest of it is boarded off except for a door leading further in.
  53. [07:18] * Proverb follows the big fluffy Ruskin pony!
  54. [07:21] * Blackout is indeed fluffy and warm and Ruskin! He nods to the far wall, which has shelves laden with equpment and ammo. "Take what you need. Choose wisely."
  55. [07:27] * Proverb nods, trotting over to the shelves. She grabs several clips of 7.62mm ammo for her SVD, and squees upon seeing a NV Scope, taking that as well. She also grabs a gasmask, seeing as the other ponies here all had one.
  56. [07:29] * Blackout is now sitting at the monitors.
  57. [07:31] * Blackout seems to be waiting for Proverb to return.
  58. [07:32] * Blackout ([email protected]) Quit (Connection closed)
  59. [07:32] * Blackout ([email protected]) has joined channel #DeadCityOps
  60. [07:32] * ChanServ sets mode +qo Blackout Blackout for #DeadCityOps
  61. [07:33] * Proverb returns from getting her stuff, now wearing a tac vest filled with extra mags, and her SVD fitted with an NV scope.
  62. [07:34] * Blackout looks at Proverb, his face stoic. "Right, this is live fire, beyond this point you run the risk of dying, no retries if things go wrong. Clear?"
  63. [07:35] * Proverb nods. "Clear."
  64. [07:38] * Blackout sets a smoke grenade on the table. "Take this, if you wish to be pulled out at any time. Pull the pin. Now, the objective of this is simple, you are about to exit the safe portion of the station. Beyond this point there are many collapsed sections and plenty of ways for monsters to get in. I want you to find somewhere in there a book. It is located in the desk of the commanders office, or well what used to remain of it."
  65. [07:42] * Proverb nods, taking the grenade and clipping it to the vest. "Understood." Also, she had totally grabbed a pistol, ammo, and some basic medical supplies from the shelves. >.>
  66. [08:01] * Blackout nods. "Off you go then candidate."
  67. [08:04] * Proverb nods, turning towards the door. She unslung her sniper rifle, and took a deep breath. "Here goes."
  68. [08:06] <~Blackout> The door opens. Outside it is extremely dark within the rest of the station, trash and debris litter the floor along with bodies, lots of bodies, some huddled against a walls, and other splayed out. Both ponies and... whatever the monsters are... alike. But Proverb didn't grab nightvision goggles, she can't see that.
  69. [08:12] * Proverb steps into the darkness, clicking the flashlight attached to her SVD on and shining it around. "Godessess have mercy..." She muttered. Keeping her ears perked for movement, she moves forward, scanning the bodies for anything useful.
  70. [08:12] <~Blackout> It is now also extremely could. She was definitely near the surface, collapses or something. Scuttling of claws can be heard ahead.
  71. [08:17] * Proverb advances slowly, quietly, staying low and looking through her scope at what was ahead of her. Her breath drifted lazily up from her nostrils as she took deep, stabalizing breaths.
  72. [08:19] <~Blackout> There are a few bodies strewn about, along with benches and suitcases. Her hoofs crunch on bones from long dead ponies. To her right are several rooms, some with doors torn from the hinges and blood running along the wall. There is light up ahead.
  73. [08:24] * Proverb moves towards the first of the rooms, shining her light through the doorway.
  74. [08:31] <~Blackout> The first room is small. But rather gruesome, these is one of the monsters pinned to the far wall via a railspike, below it a dead pony, it's face torn off.
  75. [08:34] * Proverb gasps, turning away from the sight. She swallows, and moves to the next room.
  76. [08:36] <~Blackout> The next room has light pouring through it. It is leading to the open section where the roof had collapsed, giving a sweeping view of the Moosecow highrises.
  77. [08:39] * Proverb steps into this room, moving to the open section and scanning the surrounding area through her scope.
  78. [08:43] <~Blackout> The scuttering of claws is back, and the same unequine growl can be heard, echoeing down the lond dead station.
  79. [08:46] * Proverb turns her attention back inside, moving towards the doorway and kneeling down next to it, lifting her SVD and scanning the area with the scope, keeping her ears perked, trying to pinpoint the source of the noise.
  80. [08:49] <~Blackout> Just then a... thing barrels on from the door that lead to the collapsed part of the station. It has a rediculous number of teeth, claws, thick hide, and is rather large. It charges at Proverd without a second thought.
  81. [08:57] * Proverb opens fire, her SVD cracking rapidly as she bit down on the trigger, sending 6 rounds into the monster as it charged towards her. She backed further into the room, keeping the hole as an escape route.
  82. [08:57] * Deft_Embrace ([email protected]) has joined channel #DeadCityOps
  83. [08:57] <~Blackout> It keeps coming, welcome to hell miss Proverb. Now it's pissed and bleeding and hungry.
  84. [09:00] <Proverb> "Fucking DIE!" She screams, scrambling further backwards and letting off the last 4 rounds in her clip at it. The bolt locks back, she drops the empty mag, slams in a fresh one, and slams the bolt forward all in one smooth movement.
  85. [09:01] <~Blackout> The monster stumbles and falls forward onto Proverb, it is dead, but it has also pinned her down, ichor oozing from it's mouth.
  86. [09:01] <~Blackout> (Pause, I have meeting!)
  87. [09:02] <Proverb> (kay)
  88. [09:02] <Deft_Embrace> (Dammit Blackout, next time invite me /before/ the interesting bits happen :P )
  89. [09:02] <Proverb> (lol, you want logs?)
  90. [09:02] * Deft_Embrace (Nods)

  93. [09:08] <Proverb> ( #DeadCityOpsOOC )
  94. [09:11] * Deft_Embrace is now known as Nguvu
  95. [10:07] * Proverb lies there for a moment, heart racing. Holyshitholyshitholyshitholyshiiiiiiit. She managed to wriggle out from beneath the monster with a considerable effort, scrambling to her hooves. She looked down at it. "Revertere ad Inferno, ubi vos pertinent." She muttered. She brought her SVD up and moved out of the room, listening for more movement and looking towards the the door the monster had come from.
  96. [10:08] <~Blackout> There is not any movement to be heard in the near area, but it would be foolish to let one's guard down.
  97. [10:11] * Proverb keeps moving, advancing further into the station, her heart racing.
  98. [10:12] <~Blackout> Whispers can be heard around her, little whispers saying things to her. The air seems off, like she isn't alone.
  99. [10:17] * Proverb is starting to get paranoid, whipping around randomly, only to find nothing there. "Come on Proverb, hold it together." She mutters, trotting onward, ears laid back against her head, but still looking around, eyes wide.
  100. [10:18] <~Blackout> Proverb flashes her light over a certain area ahead of her... two black silhouettes are there...
  101. [10:19] * Proverb snaps her light back to that area, ready to fire.
  102. [10:21] <~Blackout> One of the black masses is lying on the ground slumped againt a wall, and is in the shape of a pony, the other is smaller and also a pony, perhaps a foul... The smaller shape seems to be shaking the larger one, looking around.
  103. [10:24] * Proverb advances towards the two figures slowly, keeping the light trained on them.
  104. [10:26] <~Blackout> The figures pay no heed to Proverb. A voice can be heard, it is clearly a foals, but distorted. "Mommy... mommy gettup... mommy we need to goooo!" the smaller shakes the larger again, Another black figuer can be seen further down the hall, head tilted at a strange angle.
  105. [10:27] * Proverb stops. Something isn't right. "H-hello?"
  106. [10:28] <~Blackout> The other black silhouette starts advancing down the hallway towards the two figures and Proverb, bootfalls can be heard and something screeching along the floor.
  107. [10:31] * Proverb shifts her aim towards the advancing figure. "H-hey!"
  108. [10:32] <~Blackout> The smaller silhouette looks at the advancing figure and squeels. Mommy! Mooooooommmmy!" The imposing figure reaches the other two and then... silence... they are gone...
  109. [10:35] * Proverb blinks, and then shudders. She stands there for a second, before setting off again. Despite being beyond creeped out, she knew she had to keep moving. But what exactly fucking /was/ that?
  110. [10:35] <Proverb> "Celestia bless them, whoever, or whatever, they are.
  111. [10:36] <Proverb> "*
  112. [10:37] <~Blackout> A steady clanking can be heard further along. And... something... a mix of moaning and boots hitting the snowed over floor.
  113. [10:39] * Proverb proceedes with caution, peering down the tunnel through her scope, trying to locate the source of the noise.
  114. [10:41] <~Blackout> The room is wide, but it has many columns in it, Proverb passes a sign that is clearly marked 'Commisar' and pointed further along, towards where the unholy sound is coming from.
  115. [10:43] * Proverb takes a shaky breath, and follows the sign, heading against everything else that was screaming at her to go back, and towards whatever in the name of fuck was making the noise.
  116. [10:45] <~Blackout> Proverb soon finds out. There is a pony further along... or what might have been a pony once wearing a torn, shredded uniform, deep gashes all over... it. It still has a gasmask on it's face and its headlamp still glows weakly. The horrid sound was caused by... a blood contraption clamped to one of it's hoofs.
  117. [10:47] <~Blackout> Said monster is staring at a board filled with town announcements, ever so slowly tapping it's face into it. Blood running down the wall.
  118. [10:49] * Proverb 's eyes go wide at the sight. She brings her SVD up, lining up this, thing's, head in the crosshairs. She didn't know what it was, but it needed to die, stat. She took a deep breath, and fired.
  119. [10:50] <~Blackout> The round pings off the things helmet, it freezes.
  120. [10:50] * Proverb doesn't, move.
  121. [10:52] <~Blackout> The damn thing is mumbling, it looks back at Proverb. It at one time might have been a stallion, but currently the other half of the things face is missing. Mask torn on that side, goggles shattered. They eyes are bleeding and unseeing. "They... theytheythey... IiiiiiIIII... nononon..."
  122. [10:55] * Proverb takes a step back, breathing hard. "Wh-wh-wh-what?" She manages to say.
  123. [10:56] <~Blackout> The one seeing eye in the mask focuses in on Proverb. It looks... like that of an empty pony.
  124. [11:01] * Proverb snaps her SVD back up, trembling. She lines up a shot at the part of the face that is missing, but doesn't fire. "Wh-what are you?"
  125. [11:02] <~Blackout> The... damned pony limps forward slowly. "What... are you...?" it gurgles back. Missing half a face is bad for communication skills.
  126. [11:04] * Proverb takes another step back. "A p-p-pegasus." She says, keeping her shot lined up.
  127. [11:05] <~Blackout> It stops. Hard to tell what something like this is thinking when all it's one functioning eye screams is 'EMPTY!' "Why...whyhwyhwyhwyhywhy have...havehahvehave... yuuuuuu... come herereherehere..."
  128. [11:08] <Proverb> "T-t-t-to ret-t-t-treive the b-book."
  129. [11:09] <~Blackout> It doesn't really respond for a while... it just stands there... looking at her.
  130. [11:10] * Proverb holds her position. "Wh-what happened to y-y-you?"
  131. [11:13] <~Blackout> As she says this two snorks slink into the room behind the damned figure, but it pays them no heed. Until they attempt to pounce on it's back. Their claws digging into it's already horrifically mauled flesh. It doesn't seem to feel pain as he... it peels each one of and crushing their skulls, slowly, the bodies of the monsters going spastic before limp, sliding to the floor as it releases them/
  132. [11:15] * Proverb has literaly soiled herself. She was talking to a, thing, that would probably shrug off an entire clip or two and then proceed to kill her.
  133. [11:17] <~Blackout> For the record directly outside every last availible soldier and their mother is set to rush the room if things go sour. It looks to her again. "Seeseeeeseseeee... what... wewewe ha-hhaaaaaaaave bec-become..."
  134. [11:19] <Proverb> "Y-y-y-you've b-become... damned."
  135. [11:20] * Blackout actually looks sad. "Ju-justustust guu-goh... lelele-leave meeee..."
  136. [11:20] <~Blackout> (Monster is!)
  137. [11:23] * Proverb is more than happy to oblige, backing slowly away from the damned pony, keeping her aim trained on it until her light no longer illuminated it.
  138. [11:23] <~Blackout> It's shape is still clearly visible, but it makes no move to follow her, it returns to it's soft... moaning perhaps?
  139. [11:25] * Proverb lets out a shaky breath, turning her attention back to the mission at hoof, and sets off towards the Commisar's Office once more, moving quietly through the rooms.
  140. [11:29] <~Blackout> That thing, is back where she left it, who knows how long it will remain or what it will do. However, she is now nearing the office, which is at the end of the room marked clearly with a faded sign reading 'Commisar'.
  141. [11:30] <~Blackout> The door to said room is shut.
  142. [11:31] * Proverb first checks the rest of the room, making sure there was nothing else that was going to jump out at her.
  143. [11:33] <~Blackout> The rest of the room is clear, except for the figure still standing where it was left. All that leaves is the Commisar's office, which is shut.
  144. [11:35] * Proverb slips up to the door, and stands off to the side, hoof on the handle. She tried it to see if it was locked.
  145. [11:35] <~Blackout> It is not locked.
  146. [11:36] * Proverb shoves the door open and dives back, ready for whatever the hell might be in there.
  147. [11:37] <~Blackout> Nothing comes out, the only clear thing from her position is a slumped figure at the desk.
  148. [11:39] * Proverb approaches cautiously, SVD raised as she slowly entered the office, the flashlight illuminating the interior.
  149. [11:40] <~Blackout> There is a desk, a must couch in the corner, and several book shelves behind the desk with slumped figure. If she notices, she will also see a shitton of well placed booby traps, like the one she is about to trip.
  150. [11:42] * Proverb does notice and freezes. Well, this was going to be fun. She backs up and examines the first of the traps.
  151. [11:43] <~Blackout> Tripwires set to shotgun shells and pipebombs.
  152. [11:47] * Proverb disarms them. Tripwires were easy enough. She moves into the room now, looking for the next set of traps.
  153. [11:50] <~Blackout> The next area is worse. Mines, lots of them. Proximity.
  154. [11:52] * Proverb stumbles over her own hooves, and ends up getting too close to one of those mines.
  155. [11:52] <~Blackout> The mine beeps frantically... and so do the rest of them... all of the mines are rigged together!
  156. [11:53] * Proverb scrambles backwards!
  157. [11:53] <~Blackout> The mines explode, shredding Proverd and tossing her from the room like a ragdoll.
  158. [11:54] * Proverb screams, falling to the floor with a heavy thud.
  159. [11:55] <~Blackout> Proverb has sustained a large amount of damage from the frag mines.
  160. [11:59] <Proverb> There's a piece of metal sticking out of her chest, which had luckily only embedded itself into her sternum and nothing else. Her left hind leg had been sliced open, and there was substantial damage to her left side. Oh, and there was blood fucking everywhere, because you can never have too much of that!
  161. [12:01] * Proverb weakly fumbles for the medical supplies she had grabbed, but that's hard when you can't feel your hooves and your vision is blurry.
  162. [12:03] <~Blackout> She might hear the sound of bootfalls nearby, and that soft grinding sound.
  163. [12:06] * Proverb hears it, and weakly raises her head to looked for the damned pony that she heard approaching. Her SVD lay near the door, and she couldn't get a grip on her pistol, so she resigned herself to whatever fate was to come.
  164. [12:06] <Proverb> to look*
  165. [12:07] <~Blackout> The damned one lumbers slowly into view and looms over her, looking down at her with the one eye... it didn't... wait... it didn't look empty.
  166. [12:08] * Proverb stares back at him. "...Help." She manages to say, spitting blood out of her mouth. "Please..."
  167. [12:08] <~Blackout> It headtilts sort of like what the black image did earlier...
  168. [12:10] * Proverb was growing weaker by the minute. "P-p-please...."
  169. [12:11] <~Blackout> The damned one neals down beside Proverb, reaching into one of it's own precious few remain pouches and taking out a healing potion, pressing it to her muzzle after uncorking it.
  170. [12:15] * Proverb drinks it, the wounds on her leg and side beginning to close. "Th-thank you." She lays her head back moaning. She reaches down into her own pokets, and pulled out at roll of bandages, managing to get them wrapped around her leg and the worst part of her side.
  171. [12:16] <~Blackout> The damned one just sits there, watching her.
  172. [12:17] * Proverb left the piece of shrapnel in though. She didn't know what pulling it out might do, and deicided to let a qualified medic do it. She looks at the damned one. "I, I owe you my life..." She says. "I don't know how I can ever thank you."
  173. [12:18] <~Blackout> It looks at her now. "Doo...do na-nototoot... pleasepleasesssss..."
  174. [12:20] * Proverb sits there in silence for a moment. "Why? Wh-why did you save me?" She asks.
  175. [12:22] <~Blackout> "Becau-causecause my...mymymymymmymmmmmyy... job... mi-mission..." it gurgles a little.
  176. [12:25] * Proverb nods, getting to her hooves. "I, I can't thank you enough." She says. "But, I need to complete my mission now." She looks back at the room. "And it'll be easier now cause I think I set off all the traps."
  177. [12:26] <~Blackout> Proverb is so very wrong.
  178. [12:28] * Proverb picks up her SVD, pointing the flashlight back into the room, to find out she is very wrong.
  179. [12:31] <~Blackout> The table has mines on it.
  180. [12:35] * Proverb looks back to the Damned One. "Do you know how to disable mines? And, what's your name?"
  181. [12:37] <~Blackout> Strangely the damned one is slowly acting more... sane. But only just. "Ye-yeeesesesssssss."
  182. [12:39] * Proverb nods. "Could you, um, disable those mines please?" She steps back and gestures to the mines with a hoof.
  183. [12:40] <~Blackout> The Damned One turns and slowly trots into the room, displaying no regard for safety in the least.
  184. [12:42] * Proverb smiles. "And, is it alright if I call you Willpower?"
  185. [12:45] <~Blackout> The Damned One trots to the mines, which are now about beeping. And disables each one. After which it just stares at them.
  186. [12:46] * Proverb takes that as a yes, trotting in after him. "Thanks." She flies over the desk, checking for more traps before landing on the other side.
  187. [12:46] <~Blackout> The room is now devoid of traps.
  188. [12:47] * Proverb searches the desk for the book.
  189. [12:47] <~Blackout> The Damned On-... Willpower looks back up to Proverb.
  190. [12:48] <~Blackout> Inside the bottom left drawer is a small diary.
  191. [12:50] * Proverb takes it, slipping it into her pocket. She gazes around the room one last time before looking at Willpower. "Would you mind, um, escorting me back? I'm not in the best of shape..."
  192. [12:52] <~Blackout> Willpower looks to Proverb again... and it lets off a weak salute. "Hononnnnnnored... tututooooooo... oneoneonneee llaaaaaassssstt-last tiiiem..."
  193. [12:53] * Proverb salutes back. "Thanks." She trots out of the room, and waits for Willpower to follow before setting back down the hall with him.
  194. [12:53] <~Blackout> Willpower follows silently. Boots crunching icy snow the only indicator he was still there.
  195. [12:57] <~Blackout> Proverb has now reached the barricaded off section with the reinforced door she first left through.
  196. [12:59] * Proverb moans. The piece of shrapnel embedded in her sternum was really starting to hurt. She looks at Willpower, and digs her last healing potion out of her bags, hoofing it to him. "Drink this."
  197. [01:01] <~Blackout> Willpower looks down at it curiously. As if he has no idea what to do with it even though he gave one to Proverb.
  198. [01:02] * Proverb rolls her eyes. "Here." She simply pours it over the badly mutilated part of his face. That works too!
  199. [01:04] <~Blackout> Willpower's face starts to regenerate, somewhat, the gash in his eye starts to repair and a layer of skin starts to regrow over his exposed face.
  200. [01:05] * Proverb smiles. "Much better." She turns back to the doorm shouldering her SVD and banging on it. "I've got the book!"
  201. [01:06] <~Blackout> The door swings open wide. Admitting both of them, Blackout is at the desk from before, looking absolutely stunned.
  202. [01:07] * Proverb stumbles in, collapsing with a groan. Blackout can clearly see the shrapnel sticking out of her chest, and the book clutched in her hooves, and her new friend.
  203. [01:08] * Blackout stands and helps Proverb make it to a medical cot in the far corner. The door to the outside closing. Willpower trots slowly after them.
  204. [01:09] * Proverb grins up at Blackout. "So, did I pass?"
  205. [01:10] * Blackout snorts. "With flying fucking colors. Now relax, I'm about to remove this scrapnel."
  206. [01:11] * Proverb nods, relaxing and letting Blackout do his work.
  207. [01:12] * Blackout expertly removes any remaining scrapnel and pouring healing potions directly on the wounds. He then trots to a lightly crackling wood stove and puts a bit more wood in. Looking at the Damned One. "You should be dead Proverb... very dead."
  208. [01:16] <Proverb> "But, but I'm not." She looked over at Willpower. "His name's Willpower, by the way."
  209. [01:17] * Blackout nods. "You are officially the luckiest pony in the Metro... he wasn't supposed to be here..."
  210. [01:17] * Blackout adds. "First Damned One I've ever seen that isn't... violent."
  211. [01:18] * Proverb chuckles at this. "No, he's violent enough, just not towards ponies."
  212. [01:18] <~Blackout> Willpower remains silent. He obviously doesn't talk much or well. Blackout nods. "Well what are you planning to do with him?"
  213. [01:21] <Proverb> "I, I don't know... He saved my life, and I figured I owed him one." She looks at Willpower. "Is there anything that can be done about his, condition?"
  214. [01:23] * Blackout shrugs. "This... is a coltunist uniform... I wonder how long he has been like this." he looks to Proverb. "Keep him around and you might be able to... fix him a bit."
  215. [01:24] * Proverb nods, and yawns. "Okay..." She promptly goes to sleep.
  216. [01:24] <~Blackout> Willpower is currently just looking at Proverb. He has the demeanor of a guardian.
  217. [01:24] <~Blackout> He doesn't sleep much.
  218. [01:26] * Blackout nods. "You two stay here tonight, I'll be outside. Sleep well." he trots out.
