Twisted Stranger Present: The Strangelocke

Rules:

1. The player may only catch the first wild Pokemon encountered in each area. If they faint or flee, you may not encounter another.
  1a. Species/Dupes Clause is in effect: If you've captured a Pokemon, and another Pokemon that is eligible to be caught appears that is the same Pokemon or in the same evolution line, you may encounter another Pokemon in that route.
  2a. If a battle that includes a Pokemon you are able to capture is in any sort of multi-battle, you may choose which Pokemon you wish to catch.
  3a. Shiny Clause is in effect: If you encounter a Shiny Pokemon in ANY circumstance, you may attempt to capture it.
  4a. The Safari Zone has a slightly different rule. One Pokemon may be caught in each area of the Safari Zone.

2. Any Pokemon that faints is considered dead and must be released or placed in their own box in the PC.
  2a. A black out/white out is considered a game over. Even if there are available Pokemon remaining, the run must be started over.

3. The game may not be voluntarily reset or reloaded when things go wrong.

4. All Pokemon must be nicknamed in order to forge stronger bonds.

5. The run does not officially start until the first Pokeball (or any ball used to capture Pokemon) is obtained.

6. If, at any time during the run, an item called Sacred Ash is obtained, it may be used to revive one fallen team member, or recover from a full team wipe ONCE PER Sacred Ash.
  6a. If Sacred Ash appears in the shop, ONLY ONE may be obtained.

Rules Specific To This Run:

1. There will be 9 different games in this run. We're doing games from Generation 1 to Generation 9 all at the same time.
  1a. After each Gym Badge is obtained, a wheel that contains each game to be played in the run, will be spun. Whatever it lands on will be the game that is played next.

2. Each game (with the exception of Pokemon Shield and Scarlet) will be randomized. This includes evolutions, starters, wild Pokemon, and a lot more that can be asked about in stream.
  2a. Items are also randomized which gives the chance of getting the Sacred Ash item randomly.

3. If at any point I lose any of the Nuzlocke challenges in any of the games, I will restart from the very beginning. Even if I get to the end of the last game, I will start over from the VERY beginning of the first game.

4. When it comes to encounters in Scarlet, I will be going after Raid Den battles. With them being random Pokemon with different Tera types, it can cause a truly unique experience.

5.  When it comes to encounters in Sword, we will be using each area as an encounter and will be able to capture ONE raid den Pokemon PER Badge.

6. There will be channel point redemptions added in chat in order to help me during this run. These were requested heavily after the toll it took on me last time. This redemption will allow you to add a revive to the pool 2 times a stream. If I run out, then that's it.
 6a. If anyone gifts 5 gifted subs at any time during the stream at once, I will add another to the revive counter.

7. Each game has a win condition. Here are the following conditions:
  Yellow: Beating Rival and Becoming Champion
  Crystal: Becoming Champion and Defeating Red
  Emerald: Beating Wallace and Becoming Champion
  Platinum: Beating Cynthia and Becoming Champion
  Black: Beating Alder and Becoming Champion
  X: Beating Diantha and Becoming Champion
  Ultra Moon: Become Alolan Champion
  Sword: Beating Leon and Becoming Champion
  Scarlet: Complete All 3 Storylines, Finish The Way Home Mission, and Watch Credits Roll (with no audio due to copyright)

Final Words:

Thank you all for the support given back in December when I did this with 5 games. Now we're up to 9. To keep with the whole "Twisted why are you doing this to yourself?", I've setup a goal that, if met, will cause me to do this whole challenge again with EVERY mainline Pokemon game. AND I AM SO EXCITED. Thank you all. You're all amazing. Now let's get into this!
