- Description: Weathers entered Pierce's Ice House in San Antonio,TX wielding a handgun, using a pillowcase with eyeholes cut out to conceal his face. He told the 3 black patrons there to relax, because he was only going to rob the white people. He then robbed all the white patrons, before ordering a waitress to give him the money in the register. The waitress stumbled as she was bringing the money to him, so Weathers put the gun to her head. Upon seeing that, Ted grabbed Weathers and the two began to struggle. During the struggle Weathers shot Ted twice in the head and once in the abdomen, before fleeing with about $200. Ted died in the hospital almost a month later.
