Sometimes, you just have to wonder
There were people who promised so much
Yet failed to deliver so hard...
That you merely ask yourself why

Don't worry, this happens to everyone
You find yourself at the lowest of lows
Then you hope to find that one person
Only to get torn to shreds instantly

It makes you question why you did it
It also makes you question if you can trust anyone
Comparing it to having the rug dragged underneath you
Isn't even half of the truth here

Better to compare to having your world on fire
It hurts just as much, and proves as difficult to cope with
Then you wonder how the hell you survived all that
Because now you have to pick up all the damn pieces

People can be so cruel sometimes.
