He’d had enough. The arm disappeared inside his shell, and soon enough his head and legs and other arm followed in. Angry eyes sneered back from the cavernous darkness. Then they blinked out.

Samus smirked. She put a boot on the closest spike and kicked. Bowser’s shell spun to face away from her as fire began to erupt. Once she was out of the danger zone, she put her foot back on the shell to stop it from spinning anymore. Bowser was left spewing flames uselessly to the side as Samus was able to plan out her next move.
