  1. >You are anonymous
  2. >Currently you are sitting next to your friend Flash at a girls soccer match.
  3. >You've always hated soccer, to the point where it bores you to death
  4. >But Flash had other reasons to drag you here
  5. >You haven't been out much, due to a recent depressing break up
  6. >That fucking bitch rarity had been cheating on you for the last month you were together
  7. >Aside from barely talking to anyone, let alone women, your depression was starting to get to you
  8. >So when Flash offered to be a bro and let you join him to the soccer game, you figured 'why the hell not.'
  9. >Obviously after the game you had to find your own way home, but today you felt different, like the depression you were feeling was lifting and you wanted to try and put yourself back out there and have some actual human interaction for once.
  10. >As the boring sport was droning on, you noticed a pattern in the game.
  11. >The same girl was scoring constantly, moving around the field with such grace and style that no one could even come close to her or the ball.
  12. >She had cyan blue skin and rainbow hair.
  13. >You'd seen her around school but you never knew her outside of walking past her in the hallways
  14. “Hey Flash, who's the Rainbow haired girl scoring all the goals?”
  15. >”You mean Rainbow Dash? Shes the teams best player, without her this game wouldn't even be close. Why?”
  16. “No particular reason, she just looked familiar.”
  17. >”Ahh I see, only two weeks out of the game and you already got your eye on another girl eh?”
  18. “No you fucker, I was just...wondering.”
  19.
  20. >You couldn’t help but notice her on the field, to the point where you almost couldn't stop looking at her, even at those rare moments when she didn’t have control of the ball.
  21. >You did admit, she was pretty good looking, from what you could tell at least
  22. >Soccer uniforms weren't exactly flattering, but she pulled it off well.
  23. >She looked tone and in shape, like she did nothing but train all year long.
  24. >You were willing to bet that ass was firm, tits were nothing too special, but with sports bras keeping everything so tight, she might surprise you if you ever got the chance.
  25. >”ANON!”
  26. “Gah! What? What did I miss?”
  27. >”Fuck man you were staring intensely at the game, I was just making sure you were still alive. I thought you said you weren’t a big soccer fan?”
  28. “I'm not.”
  29. >”Wouldn’t happen to be staring at that Rainbow Dash girl would ya?”
  30. “No! I mean well sort of, but you cant really not look at her she always has the ball and stuff..”
  31. >”Uh-huh, sure thats why when the ball is on the other side of the field you’re still looking at her. Its almost like you can only watch half of the game.”
  32. >Shit.
  33. >You had been caught.
  34. >Before you can change the subject, Flash cuts in
  35. >”Shes single you know, I bet if you hung around after the game you could talk to her, she'll usually stay after games to practice a bit.”
  36. “Christ man, do you keep tabs on every girl that goes to school here?”
  37. >”Pretty much yeah”
  38. >You cock an eyebrow at him
  39. >”Hey you cant blame me if I get around more than you, I'm just glad you decided to come out of the cave for once. Give her a shot man, I'm sure you'll do fine.”
  40.
  41.
  42. “I don’t know, I'm not sure I want to hurry into anything yet.”
  43. >”Come on, you were tappin one of the hottest chicks in school for a while, It may not have turned out that well in the end, but shit, you got game, I'm tellin you you can do this. And who cares about what happened in the past? There’s no time like the present, give it a shot, you might surprise yourself.”
  44. “Yeah? You think so?”
  45. >”I know so.”
  46. >You ponder over the idea of talking to another girl again
  47. “....Alright, I'll think about it”
  48. >”There's the Anon I know. Seeing an opportunity and ready to pounce!”
  49. >As much as you didn’t want to admit it, Flash had a point.
  50. >Being a total shut in after a break up didn’t exactly help your chances with any other girls, might as well start anew.
  51.
  52.
  53. >The game ended in dramatic fashion, a last minute goal by none other than Rainbow Dash.
  54. >She seemed perfect to you
  55. >As Flash walked away talking to some purple chick who looked more on the nerdy side, you took the opportunity to make your way back to the field.
  56. >The bleachers were empty, but the lights were still on, and you could make out a figure on the field as you neared, juggling a soccer ball from the looks of it.
  57. >The Rainbow hair confirmed your suspicions about who it was
  58. >Flash the great stalker was correct again
  59. >She looked busy practicing, so you decided to lean up against the fence post and let her finish her routine.
  60. >You noticed her glance over a few times as you watched her
  61. >She picks up the soccer ball and shouts
  62. >”You another one of Norman's little pests?”
  63. >You take the opportunity to start walking towards her
  64. “No, I'm not even sure who that is. I just wanted congratulate you on that miraculous win. You've got a lot of talent.”
  65. >”Yeah well it takes some hard work to be the best.”
  66. “I've noticed. Don't they shut the lights off on you?”
  67. >”Nah, I know the groundskeeper well, and I've done him a few favors here and there so he usually lets me practice a bit longer after games.”
  68. “Ah. Well that sounds like a decent set up.”
  69. >”Yeah....”
  70. >She looks at you almost as if she recognizes you.
  71. >”Hey aren't you Rarity's ex? That she recently broke up with?”
  72. >Wow cutting to the chase
  73. “Uh, yeah actually. It wasn't a pretty break up, you know how those can be.”
  74. >”I don't actually, but from the way Rarity goes through guys it doesn’t come as a surprise to me. I've never seen you at a soccer game before, what brought you around on this particular game day?”
  75. “Just something to get me out of the house really. Felt a little pent up and wanted to get out. Didn’t know I'd be witnessing the single handed domination of a team.”
  76. >”You flatter me, really. Whats your name?”
  77.
  78. “Anonymous, but everyone calls me Anon. I already know you’re Rainbow Dash.”
  79. >”Good to meet you Anon, I'm glad you enjoyed the single handed antics of the great Rainbow Dash today, but I've gotta get going. There's homework waiting for me at home that I'm probably not gonna do.”
  80. “I know the feeling.”
  81. >”I'm sure you do, Anyway I'll catch ya tomorrow Anon.”
  82. >She starts to head towards the parking lot
  83. >An idea crosses your mind
  84. >Its a long shot, but what the hell, no time like the present.
  85. “Wait! Rainbow!”
  86. >You shout after her
  87. >”Yeah?”
  88. “I know this is a long shot and all because we basically just met and all and you know I don’t want to sound like I'm coming on too strong or anyth-”
  89. >”Spit it out.”
  90. >Fuck. Here goes nothing.
  91. “Ahh I was just wondering if you wanted to possibly accompany me to sugarcube corner after school tomorrow for a shake or something.”
  92. >The next few seconds were paralyzing.
  93. >She looked at you, looking up and down, almost like she was analyzing your figure.
  94. >She had a sly smile on her face
  95. >Then she looks up and replies:
  96. >”I would... if there were school tomorrow.”
  97. >Fuck. Its Friday you fucking idiot.
  98. >”Tell you what though, I've got practice tomorrow morning until twelve, after that I'm free. You wanna pick me up around 1 at my house and we can go from there?”
  99. >Holy fuck that worked
  100. “Uh, sure that sounds great.”
  101. >She takes out a pen from her bag and grabs your hand and starts to write on it
  102. “Hey what are you doing.”
  103. >”Giving you my number retard.”
  104. “Oh, yeah ok.”
  105. >”Text me tonight and I'll give you my address.”
  106. “Sounds good! I'll see you tomorrow!”
  107. >”Sure thing. Later!”
  108. >Damn. Guess you do have some game.
  109. >Flash is always right about this crap.
  110.
  111. LATER THAT NIGHT
  112.
  113. >You arrive home, dumbfounded at how easy that was
  114. >You walk through the door into your room
  115. >You look at your hand and think to yourself 'well might as well shoot her a text, find out where im going at least.'
  116. >Taking out your phone you punch in the numbers scribbled on your hand
  117. >This should be simple enough, you start to text:
  118.
  119. “Hey Rainbow, its Anon. Lookin forward to seeing you tomorrow, can I get that address?”
  120.
  121. >You anxiously wait for a reply.
  122. >When one doesn't come immediately, you text your buddy Flash
  123.
  124. “Bro, you’re a genius.”
  125. >”How so?” he responds almost immediately
  126. “Chatted up that Rainbow girl after the game like u said. I'm takin her out tmrw at 1.”
  127. >”Fuk dude u work quick. GL my friend”
  128. “Thanks bruh.”
  129.
  130. >Dash still hasn’t responded
  131. >You look at the clock
  132. >Its only been 30 minutes
  133. >Fuck shes either distracted or just a slow ass texter.
  134. >You have become hard with anticipation
  135. >Fuck it, might as well fap
  136. >Just as you begin embrace your member, the phone goes off
  137. >Of course, its her
  138. >Excellent timing, almost as if on cue
  139. >You open the message
  140.
  141. >”12345 Cloudsdale ln. See u tmrw Anon ;)”
  142.
  143. >You reply in an instant
  144.
  145. “Thanks can't wait :)”
  146.
  147. >That winky face
  148. >You think she must want the D
  149. >Just the thought makes you horny with excitement
  150. >Fap furiously
  151. >After your orgasm, you decide sleep is the best option
  152. >Best to be rested for tomorrow's adventures
  153.
  154.
  155. THE NEXT DAY
  156.
  157. >You wake up and look at the clock
  158. >11:00am
  159. >Pretty early for a Saturday
  160. >Didn't matter though, you had to prepare for your.....little...get together with Dash
  161. >You hesitate to call it a date.
  162. >Not sure why, the prerequisites were filled for the term 'date'
  163. >Whatever, It'll all be clear soon
  164. >You go through your routine, just slower than normal because its the weekend so no rush
  165. >Shower, Shit, Shave
  166. >You contemplate what to wear
  167. >Jeans and a t-shirt was the usual for most days, but you felt like going the extra mile today
  168. >Jeans and a button down flannel shirt with a 'Dash' of cologne because why not
  169. >Feeling prepared enough you check the clock
  170. >12:00pm on the dot
  171. >Just one more thing to do to seal the deal
  172. >You needed a car, but not the shitty old buick that was handed to you because your grandma couldn’t drive anymore
  173. >You felt daring enough to see if your dad would lend you the souped up '67 Dodge Charger.
  174. >That was Daddy's baby though, so this was going to be tough
  175. >He loved that thing more than you
  176. >You look to find him on the throne in the living room watching College football
  177. >You notice his favorite team, FSU, is down by 7, but threatening to come back
  178. >Perfect opportunity as he will be too distracted to care about your hefty request
  179. >You decide to take the quick approach
  180. “Hey dad can I borrow the Charger today? I'm takin a girl out.”
  181. >”Huh? Yeah sure, whatever,” he says, not looking away from the screen
  182. >SWEET!
  183. >you grab the keys and bolt for the door
  184. >just as you turn the knob on the door that leads to the garage he suddenly realizes what hes just done
  185. >”Wait! Anon! Hold it right there! What makes you think you were going to be able to slip that one by me? You were close, I admit, but nothing gets by me when it comes to Darla!”
  186. “Darla?”
  187.
  188. >”Yes Darla! Thats her name, and learn to respect it! Now why do you need my Darla, why can't you take your own car?”
  189. “Because... I want to impress a girl?”
  190. >”Oh. Well.” he hesitates, “That explains the pretty boy get up and the cologne. I haven't seen you prep yourself up like this in a while. Come to think of it, you haven't gone out on a weekend in quite some time.”
  191. >Dad never payed a lot of attention to you, or other bigger details in general for that matter.
  192. >It was a wonder as to how Mom put up with him
  193. >”Well. Since this is a matter of impressing a girl I guess I could let you take it. But I have conditions.”
  194. >Fuck, that could mean anything from cleaning your room to washing every square inch of the house
  195. >”1. Trash duty for a week, no complaining 2. Your room better be spotless 3. Darla comes back washed and shiny on the outside, and spotless on the inside.”
  196. >Considering what it could have been, you lucked out
  197. >You're almost skeptical this is your father talking to you
  198. “Thats it?”
  199. >”Yeah.”
  200. “Just like that, just those three things and I'm good?”
  201. >”Yes, Anon, you’re old enough to have your own responsibilities right? I can add more if you want.”
  202. “NO! Uh, I mean, no I'm good. Its a deal.”
  203. >”Good. Now get outta here before I change my mind, you’re keeping me from the game.”
  204. >You bolt out the door and hop in the beautiful classic American muscle car
  205. >You feel the steering wheel, sitting in perfect upkept leather seating.
  206. >You started to understand why someone would love this thing more than their own offspring
  207. >You turn the key and hear the engine purr like it was still in its prime, the obvious sign of a good owner
  208.
  209.
  210. >The journey to Rainbow Dash's house begins in style.
  211. >You have a little fun on your way, flooring it around corners, revving the engine whenever you can
  212. >Being careful to watch for cops though, of course
  213. >As you come to the neighborhood, you slow down, looking for the correct house in the process
  214. >Its a decent neighborhood, similar to your own, maybe a bit more towards the lower end of the housing market, but still about average nonetheless.
  215. >You pull into the corresponding house that matches the address you were given.
  216. >You park the car and prep yourself
  217. >'Ok Anon, you can do this, you’ve done it before, you can do it again. Hopefully it just ends better than the last one.'
  218. >You step out of the car, walk up to the front door, and ring the doorbell
  219.
  220.
  221. >You take a step back from the door and wait for someone to answer
  222. >A man answers the door
  223. >A huge, bulging, extremely muscular man
  224. >You can safely assume this is probably Dash's father
  225. >Your eyes widen at the figure standing before you
  226. >A cold silence fills the air
  227. >After a few seconds, you decide to try and clear the air
  228. “Hi, uhh, I'm Anonymous, here to, uhh, uhmm hmm, pick up Rainbow Dash.”
  229. >He stares at you for a few seconds, then slowly turns around leaving the door open and in a deep, rough voice calls for her
  230. >”DASH! Some pretty boy here for you!”
  231. >You stand there waiting outside the opened door, awkwardly
  232. >You hear a faint reply from Rainbow Dash
  233. >”Comin dad! You didn’t scare this one away did you?”
  234. >”Well he hasn’t left yet has he sweetums?”
  235. >You notice a change in his tone when he addresses her in what he believes to be a private conversation, even though you can hear every word.
  236. >”Be careful you there baby, don’t want daddy's little gold metal to get hurt out there!” he says
  237. >”Ugh, Dad! Quit it! I'm not 2!”
  238. >She walks to the door, Hulking Dash Dad right behind her
  239. >Shes wearing some decent casual clothing, Jeans and a semi-revealing V-neck.
  240. >Maybe there was more to those breasts than you initially thought
  241. >Rainbow gives you a surprised look
  242. >”Hey Anon, you look uhh REALLY nice today.”
  243. >Fuck, you think you may have overdone it a bit
  244. “Thanks, ready to go?”
  245. >”Yeah I'm all set”
  246. >You step out of her path and hold you hand out as if to say 'lead the way'
  247. >She takes the opportunity, and walks around the corner of the driveway out of sight
  248.
  249.
  250. >Before you get the chance to follow her, you’re yanked backwards into the face of Dash Dad
  251. >Hes an inch from your face
  252. >An intense and serious look on his face
  253. >His breath is hot and wreaks of what you can only make out to be barely cooked meat
  254. >What comes next ensures his dominance in the confrontation
  255. >”Don't fuck up”
  256. >He lets go of you and turns to go back into the house
  257. >You stand there frozen, trying to fathom what just happened
  258. >As soon as you realize theres a girl at your car probably waiting for you to unlock the car, you snap out of your trance and walk towards Darla
  259. >When you get to the car and unlock it, the pair of you take a seat and admire for a second the beauty of the car you are currently sitting in
  260. >”Nice car, Who'd you rob to get it?”
  261. “My dad”
  262. >”Ha! Of course. I had a feeling this wasnt your usual ride, still props for getting it. I know my dad wouldn’t let me touch anything this expensive.”
  263. >You start the engine and press on
  264. “Whys that?”
  265. >”Lets just say my Dad got tired of replacing the Mailboxes in the neighborhood.”
  266. >You give a soft chuckle and begin to back out of the driveway.
  267.
  268.
  269. >The drive to sugarcube corner is a relatively smooth one
  270. >You small talk her a bit, shes really into sports, not just soccer, and loves the famous Wonderbolts flying team
  271. >She takes a lot of opportunity to talk about herself, which is fine by you, you were always a good listener so you don’t mind
  272. >She always worked hard, and like you suspected, trained all year round
  273. >Almost seemed like she didn’t have much opportunity to get out and socialize much outside of sports teams
  274. >You decide to ask her about it as you pull into the food establishment
  275. “So you train a lot and all, but I haven’t heard you talk about any of your friends. I imagine you would hang out with your teammates right?”
  276. >Silence
  277. >Uh-oh, may have possibly touched a sensitive topic
  278. >her facial expressions show a hint of sadness, although shes got a good poker face.
  279. >You were always decent at being able to read body language, and she may look like shes ok, but a tiny millisecond frown followed by what comes next tells you she may have let her guard down a bit
  280. >”I... I don’t really hang out with them outside of sports and sitting with them at lunch. I may be the team captain and all, but thats just because I'm kind of a hardass. I always push them to their limits which I know will pay off for them in the end, but I'm not exactly sure they appreciate me for it.”
  281. >You're not surprised by what she just told you.
  282. >Being a hardass may get you wins but definitely won't get you friends
  283. >Still, the fact that she opened up to you so easily gives you a sense of comfort.
  284. “Well, you’re just doing whats best for them. They may not realize it yet, but they will when they’re holding that trophy at the end of each year, they should know who to thank.”
  285. >”Yeah, hopefully.”
  286. >Well that could have went better, wasn’t going to hurt your chances though, you think
  287. >Just a simple observation thats all, she'll understand
  288. >You hope
  289.
  290. >You both step out of the car
  291. >Just before you enter the building Dash speaks up
  292. >”I didn’t mean to spring my emotions on you like that, I usually don’t open up to people that easily. You just.... seemed like an easy person to talk to.”
  293. “Don't worry about it, I don’t mind listening. Believe it or not I can actually sort of relate to what you’re going through.”
  294. >You open the door for her
  295. >She tilts her head
  296. >”Really? How so?”
  297. >As you walk into the place you head for the line to order, its decently long and you already know what you want, so the wait beings
  298. “I used to play baseball until I was a sophomore.”
  299. >”Why'd you stop?”
  300. “I had to. I cared too much about winning, and not enough about just having fun with the game. To the point where everyone around me was suffering from my own shitty attitude. Winning consumed my life on and off the field. When someone finally told me, I took a step back from it all and decided it would be best if I removed myself.”
  301. >”So you quit? Just like that?”
  302. “Quit is a generous term, it was more of a team decision that I take at least a year off.”
  303. >”You gonna go back?”
  304. “I'm not sure yet. I've changed a lot since then. Calmed down a bit, but I've also been out of practice for a while as well. I don’t know if I can start it all again, or if I even want to.”
  305. >”Thats some heavy shit there Anon. Takes a lot of heart to be able to sacrifice that much solely for the sake of one team.”
  306. “Thanks. Enough of this depressing talk of me and my sob stories. Do you know what you want?”
  307. >”Yeah ill just have a strawberry-banana smoothie, as always.”
  308. “What a coincidence, thats my drink of choice too.”
  309. >”Really? Good to know your taste is at least somewhat decent then.”
  310. “Why, did you think I had bad taste?”
  311. >”You seemed more like the 'chocolate everything' type.”
  312. “The fuck does that mean?”
  313. >”It means shut up and order our shit, were next.”
  314. >You look ahead of you
  315.
  316. >A large gap in the line alerts you to the clerk taking orders waiting for the next customer which happens to be you.
  317. >You order your smoothies and find a place to sit and chat.
  318. >Once at the table Rainbow starts to actually take an interest in you
  319. >Well mostly about your former sports experiences with baseball
  320. >You find out she also plays softball
  321. >This doesn’t surprise you at all, considering shes played about every high school sport know to human kind
  322. >The sports talk drones on for a bit, then she takes things to a more personal level
  323. >”How far have you gone with a girl?”
  324. >A little surprised by this question, you look at her with your best poker face
  325. “uh, well I mean I don’t know if I should be-
  326. >”You don’t have to tell me, if it makes you feel any more comfortable ill answer my own question if you do first.”
  327. >You ponder for a second, and decide to go for it.
  328. “Rarity was my first time going all the way.”
  329. >”Yeah you and about 4 other guys I know. A few girls too.”
  330. >You do your best to hide the explosion that just went on in your mind, the other guys you knew about, but other girls? Apparently you missed that side of Rarity when you were dating
  331. “Well thats uhh, interesting to say the least. Anyway what about on your end of the spectrum?”
  332. >”I've never been with another girl Anon.”
  333. >You laugh a bit at the response
  334. “That wasn’t really the question. Come on we had a deal.”
  335. >”The deal was I would answer my own question, if you remember correctly.”
  336. >Fuck.
  337. >#REKT
  338. >You feel almost betrayed by the answer
  339. >Recognizing your disappointment she decides to humor you anyway
  340. >”Funny enough I've never really dated or done anything with another guy either. In fact, your the first guy to take interest in me since I've been in high school.”
  341. >You're surprised by this
  342. >You figured the best athlete in school would get at least some attention from the opposite sex, even if she did have Rainbow colored hair.
  343.
  344. “Really? I would have thought someone would take interest in you, I mean you’ve got a lot going for you with all the sports you play and how hard you work at them and all. Not to mention it keeps you in shape and very good looking, in my opinion at least.”
  345. >Whoops
  346. >May have shown your hand a bit early there
  347. >”Well thanks, but not many other guys have really taken notice I guess. As much as I love having my rainbow hair I blame the whole gay pride rainbow thing, which really isn’t fair in my opinion. Who said the gays get the rainbow anyway?”
  348. “I know! What the fuck is with that? I want the damn rainbow back.”
  349. >”I'm glad you see it that way and didn’t judge based off of that bull shit.”
  350. “Not a chance. I think its a beautiful hair style.”
  351. >”Oh shut the fuck up, thats sooooo damn cheesy. You’re gonna make me puke.”
  352. >Well you can't win em all
  353. >You both laugh it off
  354. >The rest of the day goes really well.
  355. >You went to the park together, then later you went bowling which she later described as 'cute'
  356. >This let you know that while she enjoyed the time you had, she definitely hinted more towards wanting to hit the bar scene
  357. >You make a mental note of this for next time
  358. >After what you thought of as a successful night, you drive her home
  359. >Upon arrival, you cut the engine and exit the vehicle.
  360. >You walk her to the door
  361. >Rainbow turns to you before she goes in
  362. >”Anon, I haven’t had that much fun in a while. Thanks for takin me out. We should do it again sometime.”
  363. “I'd love to.”
  364. >Then Rainbow quickly leans and gives you a peck on the lips
  365. >Stunned by the action, Rainbow takes that opportunity to bolt into her house
  366. >”See ya Anon, text me!”
  367. >It takes a second for you to process what she just said
  368. “Uhhh yeah definitely, later!”
  369.
  370. >As soon as the coast is clear, you turn around towards your car and internally fist pump with a “yes,” whispered along with it.
  371. >Your internal joy is then immediately dispersed for when you turn the corner to the driveway, Dash Dad is standing right in your path.
  372. >You have no idea how he got there without you seeing, teleportation hadn't been invented yet, but somehow this guy had it figured out
  373. >You stare at him wide eyed
  374. >He looks down upon you with despair
  375. >Seconds feel like hours as he stares deep into your soul
  376. >Then he leans in close, closer than last time, only centimeters away from your nose
  377. >”You're on good terms so far, you better hope it stays that way...... faggot.”
  378. >He pushes past you back into his house
  379. >As soon as hes out of sight, you release a breath of relief
  380. >You get back in the charger, take it to get washed, then head home.
  381. >Damn what a day
  382.
  383.
  384. >The rest of the weekend is pretty routine
  385. >Once you get home, everyone was asleep and aside from some quick texting banter with Rainbow Dash, you fall asleep relatively quickly.
  386. >Sunday was usually your chill day, Rainbow Dash had practice and other training all day, so you wouldn’t even be able to text her.
  387. >Whatever you’ll see her tomorrow anyway
  388. >The relaxed day was filled with nothing but vidya and eating junk food like a lazy ass, the usual
  389. >The one thing that threw you for a ride though was your dad actually walking in to talk to you
  390. >This usually only happened if you were in trouble
  391. “I cleaned the car I swear it wasn’t me.”
  392. >He stops in his tracks, almost looking confused.
  393. >”I appreciate that you cleaned it. It looks nice by the way. Thats not the reason I'm here though.”
  394. “Why is it then.... did I fail or something? Report cards don’t come out for another three weeks.”
  395. >”No, if you would just shut up and listen for a second you would know I just came to ask how last night went.”
  396. >Wut
  397. >This was a very rare occurrence
  398. >Must have been mom harping on him about not spending time with you or some shit
  399. “It went fine, we got along really well.”
  400. >”Great......”
  401. >Awkward silence
  402. >Dad wasn’t done yet though
  403. >”What did you do? Where did you take her?”
  404. “Uhh, we just went bowling and ate and stuff. Nothing too special.”
  405. >”Bowling. Safe choice there. Did you let her win?”
  406. “No she actually legitimately kicked my ass.”
  407. >Which came as no surprise to you, as the best athlete in school probably had an advantage, even in the most informal of sports
  408. >”Oh. Well uhh better practice some more then if you want to impress this girl.”
  409. “It was just bowling, Dad.”
  410. >”Yeah but come on, wheres that competitive spirit you used to have?”
  411. “Gone with the sport I left. If you’re going to make this about baseball again I don’t want to have this conversation.”
  412.
  413. >Another silence deafens the room
  414. >Your dad looks down with a scrunch to his face, obviously frustrated with you
  415. >But he doesn’t pursue
  416. >”Alright, I won't. Just wanted to see how things were in my son's life for once. Good to know things went well. Hope it stays that way if it gets you out of the house a bit more.”
  417. >He turns to leave
  418. >You feel bad for being a little blunt with him.
  419. >Before he exits the room you turn to him in your swivel chair
  420. “Hey Dad.”
  421. >”Yeah?”
  422. >A moment of hesitation as you think about what to say.
  423. “Thanks for letting me use the charger, I know its your baby and all.”
  424. >”I figured its time I start to trust you with a bit more responsibility, let you make your own decisions.”
  425. “Thanks.”
  426. >He smiles at you then leaves
  427. >That was very out of character for him
  428. >You think nothing of it and go back to your video game
  429. >Thoughts of how tomorrow will go flood your mind with excitement
  430. >Rainbow seems into you, not completely, but theres definitely something there between you two.
  431. >With a little more work, you think she'll be yours and yours alone
  432. >Tomorrow definitely seems promising
  433. >You hope
  434. MONDAY
  435.
  436. >6:35am
  437. >Alarm goes off
  438. >Holy fuck its early
  439. >Should not have stayed up as late as you did.
  440. >Whatever a shower will help, gotta look decent today.
  441. >Got a bitch to impress
  442. >You go through a normal routine, Shower Shit Shave Brush Eat and then you leave for school
  443. >You take your normal car this time, a Mazda-3
  444. >When you arrive someone is parked in your usual spot
  445. >Some plant loving faggot with bumper stickers about the environment all over the car
  446. >Its a Subaru, you should have expected as much
  447. >Whatever, you park somewhere else, not like this hasn’t happened before
  448. >You park, and walk up to the front doors of the school, like always
  449. >This time though, the group of hipster looking faggots that hang out in front of the school all stop and stare at you, condescendingly
  450. >'Weridos' you think to yourself
  451.
  452. >You look back at them, but you deep walking
  453. >Once you enter the lobby of the school, you see Rainbow Dash chatting it up with some pink haired girl named Pinkie Pie, who you recognize from some of the parties you’ve been to.
  454. >You start to walk over to her, and just as you begin your route, Rarity walks up and joins in on their conversation
  455. >Rarity's back is to you, so you try and slip by and keep walking down the hallway, but Rainbow had other plans
  456. >”Anon! Hey!” she says as she jumps right out in front of you, and goes in for a hug
  457. >You act surprised and hug back
  458. “Hey Rainbow, didn’t see you there.”
  459. >A smile comes across your face
  460. >You never thought she would be so embracing so quickly
  461. >You quickly glance towards her previous group of friends
  462. >Rarity looks at you with her piercing eyes, squinting in disapproval
  463. >That makes it a perfect morning
  464. >After the embrace is ended you make a plan to gtfo as quickly as possible
  465. “Where you headed?” you ask Rainbow
  466. >”My homeroom is just down the hall”
  467. “Sweet I'll walk with you”
  468. >You leave the scene with Rainbow by your side
  469. >Disaster averted
  470. >”Whats your first class?” Rainbow asks
  471. “Math I believe”
  472. >”Yikes, sounds like a drag.”
  473. “Yeah, I'm not terrible at it though. I just think its boring. Whats yours?
  474. >”English. Cant wait to be bored for an hour.”
  475. “I know the feeling.”
  476. >”Yeah you and everyone but Twilight knows that feeling.”
  477. >She says this as she slows to a classroom door
  478. “This where you get off?”
  479. >”Yup. I'll probably see you at lunch right?”
  480.
  481. “Sure, I'll come find you and we can sit together if you want.”
  482. >”Sounds good to me. I'll see you then.”
  483. >She walks into the classroom
  484. >It is now when you realize your homeroom is on the other side of school
  485. >Whatever, it was worth it
  486. >You start to walk back towards your destination
  487. >You start to daydream a little on your journey to homeroom
  488. >So much so that someone bumps into you, snapping you out of your thoughts
  489. >Some kid in a red shirt wearing a green beanie
  490. >He dropped some crap he was holding
  491. >”What the fuck? Are you blind? You walked straight into me!”
  492. “Sorry man, I was out of it. Here I'll help u clean up.”
  493. >You seem to recognize him, but you cant put a name to the face
  494. >Hes still flipping a shit
  495. >”Yeah not like I'm late or anything!”
  496. “Jesus man, I said I was sorry no need to flip out.”
  497. >”You know what, don’t even bother helping it’ll be faster on my own.”
  498. “Alright, fuck, here.”
  499. >You hand him what little of his shit you picked up
  500. >He snatches it out of your hand like a bitch
  501. >”Thanks ass hole.”
  502. >He storms off
  503. >You watch him walk away, confused at what just happened
  504. >You look around, Flash among some of the few still staring at you
  505. >You look at him
  506. “Did I do something wrong?”
  507. >”Not that I could see. Norman's just a little bitch, no need to worry about him.”
  508. “Norman! Thats his name! I thought I recognized him.”
  509. >”You should. Hes been obsessing over Rainbow Dash since he was a freshmen. Kind of stalker like, very off putting, even Rainbow Dash, who rarely gets action, rejected him. He just hasn’t let go since.”
  510. “That's fuckin weird.”
  511. >You both had the same homeroom and started walking in that direction.
  512. >”How'd that date with her go? Good I assume?”
  513. “Yeah actually, she seems into it. I wouldn’t have a problem dating someone like her. We'll see where it goes.”
  514. >”Nice. Sounds like progress is being made. Keep at it.”
  515.
  516. “Yeah I'll be sure to. Shes got a very over protective dad though, very intimidating.”
  517. >”Ahhh don’t let it bother you, he'll warm up I'm sure.”
  518. >You were skeptical of this, even if it was Flash saying it.
  519. >As you arrive to homeroom, you prepare for another mind numbing day of class
  520. >Lunch couldn’t come faster
  521. >Thoughts of Rainbow Dash made it hard to focus
  522. >Math problems would all equal rainbow to you
  523. >In English you replaced the main character in the story with her
  524. >Science caused cells to look like soccer balls, which reminded you of her
  525. >This was getting ridiculous
  526. >Then finally the lunch bell rang
  527. >Maybe seeing her would make afternoon classes easier
  528. >Maybe
