Anniversary Dinner - Wash the fucking dishes

AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : -Steph was in the kitchen in the process of plating a meal, sliding a piece of salmon onto each plate before adding several stalks of asparagus and arranging them neatly next to the salmon. She added a scoop of roasted potato wedges to Felix's plate, leaving them off of hers because we havent come THAT far yet.-
Covet: Felix had just gotten off work and had pulled up on his motorcycle, because better gas milage for running back and forth to school while the weather was still nice and all that. He parked and hit the kickstand for his bike, the pulled the cover out of the compartment on the back and pulled it over his bike, before taking his helmet off, carrying it in, with his backpack still on. Alexithymiaa: -She looked up from meticulously arranging the fucking plates like a freak to smile at him, setting her hands down on the counter. "You did. How's the bike running? Bryan and CJ are flying out in a few weeks to look at wedding venues and he said he wants to take a look at them."-
Covet: "As far as I can tell, it's running like a charm.But, Bryan is more than okay to look at it, so long as he doesn't mess anything up on it." He said setting his helmet down near the door, along with his backpack. He walked over to the island and leaned up against it, " What did you make us? And you didn't need to go all out fifties style housewife, dressing up and all. I will say you look stunning though." He added with a wink.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Bryan built my first bike from random parts and that thing ran a lot longer than it should have. I wouldn't say he's going to mess anything up." She said with a laugh, picking up the plates and bringing them over to the table to set down in front of each place setting. "I made baked salmon with asparagus and roasted potatoes. And I'll do what I want, so get over it."-
Covet: "I fully trust his competence with mechanics. I just don't want my shiny new bike that the best girlfriend gave me, fucked up. Unless I do it. Because then I can only be mad at myself." He said then followed behind her as she brought the food over to the table. He gave her a playful swat on the ass and went to sit down grabbing his fork to stab a potato wedge and taking a small bite, because it was still hot, but food needed to be in the mouth hole. Alexithymiaa: -She gave a little jump with he swatted at her ass, eyeing him before shaking her head. "I literally just pulled everything out of the oven, Scarecrow. See the steam? That means hot." She walked back over into the kitchen, opening the fridge and grabbing a can of soda to pour into a glass, passing it over to him. "Here."-
Covet: "Hank you" He said still taking bites off the potato wedge. Beacuse too good...can't wait. He paused a second and took the drink from her, tipping it back. "Ouch.. totally worth it though." He said taking another drink. "Is this still anniversary favors you're pulling off here?"
Alexithymiaa: -She turned and walked back into the kitchen to pour herself a glass of wine before finally joining him at the table."It is. Are you going to complain about it? Because I thought it might be nice if we actually get to sit down and have a nice dinner together. It's not something we've done a whole lot of, which is my fault, and I know that."-
Covet: "No, well, sort of. Only because you've made me dinner...got me concert tickets, and you gave me half of a house. And I like a very very very shitty boyfriend...have got you nothing." He said with a slight frown, then shook his head, "Shush your face, Red. It's not your fault. Shit just happens. Don't sweat it."
Alexithymiaa: "I make you dinner all the time. This time I just did it while wearing a sparkly pink dress. I wouldn't really freak out over it." She said as she stabbed at her salmon, breaking off a small piece since hot. "Are we going to go over all the things you have given me every other day of the year?"-
Covet: Felix stopped and looked at her. "Then don't say it's more anniversary stuff. And no we're not going to go over that... because that's exactly my point... Every other day of the year, I'm awesome... but today.... I have failed on multiple accounts. You shouldn't be spoiling me so much."
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes, biting the inside of her cheek. "Fine, whatever, I won't do anything nice for you unless you do something nice for me first. Happy?" She said with a huff, poking at her asparagus until the steam came out.-
Covet: "No... How about... next time... please remind me before I kind of sort of forget. So that I can be a little better prepared. I'd at least like a chance at showing you how much you mean to me too." He told her sticking out his tongue as he went for another potato wedge while the rest of his food cooled off.
Alexithymiaa: "You can do that whenever you wanted, if you wanted to. The day isn't important. It's not even like we weren't together before that point anyway. I just..." She paused, staring down at her plate. "I like doing that stuff. It's not because I expect anything in return. It's just because I love you and I want to show you that."-
Covet: "I know.. and I appreciate that. I really do. You're amazing at it. It just makes me feel inferior at times. That's all." He said with a shrug. "I'm sorry. I'll let it be and just enjoy this wonderful meal you slaved all evening over, and how beautiful you look." He told her looking over at her with a genuine smile.
Alexithymiaa: "You're the only person who can make yourself feel inferior." She spoke and then paused, looking over the table at him. "It took me a long time to figure that out, but it's true. And to be fair, I didn't slave over it all evening. Everything went in the oven to bake."-
Covet: "Well, I don't think I'll be able to forget this date now, so yay us." He said lifting up another bite, putting it in his mouth. "Woman, I said you slaved over it for me... but I shall not let your debt go un-repaid. I'll make it up to you here in a little bit." He said with a wink, being obnoxious.
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes at him, waving him off with her fork. "I'd be more impressed if you felt the need to repay the debt in a way that wasn't also incredibly selfish." She said with a grin, bringing a piece of salmon to her lips.-
Covet: "Excuse me... There was no mention of me getting anything out of paying you back, all I aim for is your complete satisfaction Red." He told her with a challenging look.
Alexithymiaa: "Just because it wasn't in spoken word doesn't mean it's not going to happen so don't pretend like it's not." She set her fork down and picked up her wine, taking a small sip.-
Covet: "Do you think I can't just leave it at making sure you're satisfied? That I have to have my own too?" Felix asked her. "Because that sounds like a challenge. And it's one I have complete faith in winning." He said smugly.
Alexithymiaa: "Do I think that you think that? No. But you also have no idea what I bought to go under this dress so challenge or not, you have no idea what you're setting yourself up for here." She said with a grin, shooting a look back at him.-
Covet: "Oh I see now... Well if your intentions are to seduce me, madam, then I'm afraid you're going to have to really work for it, because by the time I'm done with you, you'll be begging for me." He told her as he sat back and pulled his longer sleeved top off, tossing it aside the the floor, before he pulled his undershirt off as well. Then went to take another big bite of food.
Alexithymiaa: "Pick your battles Scarecrow. I'm a lot better at this than you are. It helps that men's lingerie isn't exactly a popular kink." Which didn't stop her from checking him out. She took another sip of her win, pursing her lips. "Also you've made this a competition, which was your first mistake."-
Covet: "That's because we don't need frilly lace things, or sexy sheer and satin things to entice you. We were born with everything we needed." He told her as he finished off his food, and drank back his soda. Standing up he undid his pants and then stretched jus to show off that v line to her before he grabbed his dishes and leaned over her, tilting her head up with his free hand. "Thank you for dinner, Red." He said, leaning down to give her a kiss, before walkingto the sink to drop his dishes off then headed to the bedroom.

Alexithymiaa: -She raised her brows at him because shut the fuck up Felix, returning the kiss before shaking her head and climbing to her feet. She collected the remaining dishes and brought them to the sink that she was definitely going to force him to clean up before following him off to the bedroom because its a fucking competition and she would rather die than let him win.-
