  1. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  2.
  3. With the rustling of frosty leaves, Nascent Essoheli, Attendant to the Wyrd says, "...two more hours, then I start parasite-wrangling."
  4. Essoheli nods his head sagely.
  5.
  6. Esei shakes their head.
  7. With a soft, darkly melodious inflection, Wyrden Auspice Esei Shee-Slaugh of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Closer to... four."
  8.
  9. You glance askance at Esei.
  10.
  11. With the rustling of frosty leaves, Nascent Essoheli, Attendant to the Wyrd says to Esei, "I like to make sure I have the parasite early."
  12. Esei hums thoughtfully.
  13.
  14. Softly, you say, "Indeed."
  15.
  16. With the rustling of frosty leaves, Nascent Essoheli, Attendant to the Wyrd says to Esei, "After having failed to finish this 3 different times for various issues, I don't like to leave things up to chance."
  17.
  18. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Hm."
  19.
  20. Arm outstretched, Esei calls out and a broom flies into their hand.
  21.
  22. You tilt your head curiously at Esei.
  23.
  24. Esei begins to wield a wiccan broom in their right hand.
  25.
  26. You crease your brow in a frown.
  27. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "I will be taking my leave."
  28. You incline your head politely to those around you.
  29.
  30. Essoheli inclines his head politely to those around him.
  31.
  32. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "May it be swiftly."
  33.
  34. You glance askance at Esei.
  35.
  36. You sigh quietly, frills drooping as your tail sags.
  37. You touch the Mantle of Starlight and are surrounded by a brilliant white light. The distant song of an angelic choir can be heard, as you feel angelic hands lift you up and carry you away.
  38.
  39. An illithoid scourge gently brushes his fingers against his nekai idly as you leave.
  40.
  41. The Pool of Stars.
  42. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. Meeting in the radiant heart of New Celest, the broad city streets come together in a large, open plaza of marbled stone. Rising in the centre of the plaza is a structure of noble and luminescent pillars which suspend a round, ring-shaped platform twenty feet above the light-studded surface of the pool below. The atmosphere within the structure and around the pool bristles with a warm, electrical energy, giving a slightly disorienting sense of dizziness and euphoria. A gradually ascending stairway winds its way about the inside of the pillars, leading towards the upper level of the structure and offering a bird's eye view of the pool. An enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky, glitters softly between the columns. His form suffused with soft light, the Keeper of the Pool of Stars stands here attentively. A statue of Zenobia the Queen of Queens stands here, memorializing her noble spirit. An imposing sword of radiant white metal has been driven deep into the ground in a silent statement of intent. A mosaic tiled chest stands here, ready to share donations given. There are 10 archons of Eternal Light here. There are 10 cavaliers of the Light here. There are 10 Kusalas of the Tahtetso here. Glowing gently with a soft blue light, a delicate dreamcatcher has been permanently hung here. A golden retriever is here, panting quietly. Humble Meadow, Avower of the Archons is here. She wields a silver-capped tahto of bleached driftwood with both hands.
  43. You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, northwest, and up (open door).
  44.
  45. An archon of Eternal Light says, "May the Light shine with you, Cheliyi."
  46. A Kusala of the Tahtetso says, "Greetings, sibling of this glorious hive - may your prayers be many, and may the Supernals hear them."
  47. A Kusala of the Tahtetso bows respectfully to you.
  48. Meleris, Keeper of the Pool of Stars bows his head reverently and traces a holy pentacle in the air before you, your vision suddenly filling with celestial light.
  49. Meleris, Keeper of the Pool of Stars says, "Blessed be, Chosen One."
  50.
  51. You shudder violently as a chill ripples down your spine.
  52. You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.
  53.
  54. You think to yourself: Tired.
  55.
  56. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice has entered the realm of Lusternia.
  57.
  58. You think to yourself: You may even have a headache.
  59.
  60. Cupping your hands before you, they fill with water and an image forms within of Velcora at inside a haphazard hut.
  61.
  62. You begin murmuring the names of the sefira in the Tree of Life. Eyes half-closed, you find the true name of Velcora and whisper it softly.
  63.
  64. Domothean energies surge around your figure as you step forwards into the Tree itself and through Kether into another location.
  65.
  66. Inside a haphazard hut.
  67. Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky. Shabby chunks of wood, more akin to sticks than planks, have been fashioned into walls. Rotting fronds hang from the ceiling, brown, curled leaves dangling over the slick, mud floor. In one corner of the hut lies a few soiled blankets, lumped together and stained with big, greasy blotches. Strewn haphazardly about the hut are piles of unused bones of varying sizes, some having been picked clean, others not. All along the walls are slanted and poorly constructed shelves bearing intricate creations of both bones and flesh, some more painstakingly fashioned than others. Sinewy effigies of antlered humanoids, crafted from animal bones, dried meat and fur hang from the ceiling in several places, spinning on a strip of tendon tied to the make-shift rafters. A bush of bog myrtle thrives here in the swamp. A horehound plant thrives in the swampy waters here. A calamus plant enjoys life in the swamp here. Blooming in pristine white from the swampy earth, a single lily is planted here. Bandrui Fyrgenwig chitters to herself, wild hair drooping about her face. A tattered mummy prowls here, his bandages trailing behind him.
  68. You see a single exit leading out.
  69.
  70. You hug Velcora as best as you can, pulling them into a tight embrace.
  71.
  72. Velcora beams broadly.
  73.
  74. You give Velcora a peck on the cheek.
  75.
  76. Velcora's mouth turns up as their face breaks into a smile.
  77. Velcora gives you a peck on the cheek.
  78.
  79. You glance askance at Bandrui Fyrgenwig.
  80. Bandrui Fyrgenwig rattles her bones at you, hissing.
  81.
  82. You raise an eyebrow questioningly.
  83.
  84. "Ummmm," Velcora says uncertainly.
  85.
  86. ---> look bandrui
  87.
  88. Muttering harshly under her breath and dressed in nothing but marsh-stained rags, this thin mugwump woman is a sight to behold. Yellowish strands of slimy hair grow from her scalp, drooping down to cover most of her face in unkempt clumps. Her eyes are large and wild, seeming to see things beyond the ordinary veil of this world. Her limbs are skinny, and her shaky fingers grasp a grisly multitude of bones, which she continually rattles in her hands. Despite her oddities, however, she bears a gentle beauty in the oval of her face and the smooth, mild green of her skin. Around her neck hangs a single, silvery shard of bone, adding a beauteous mystique to her otherwise wretched coverings.
  89. Bandrui Fyrgenwig looks to be crushingly strong.
  90.
  91. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you whisper, "Who is thisly?"
  92.
  93. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "Bamdrui."
  94.
  95. You nod your head slowly in understanding.
  96.
  97. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "If someone needs to be executed..."
  98. Velcora curls their nose up and grimaces awfully.
  99.
  100. Comprehension flashes across your face.
  101. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "... I see."
  102.
  103. You begin to follow Velcora.
  104.
  105. Velcora touches their fingertips to their hand, illuminating the temporal tattoo upon it. The air beside them warps, as a clock-like portal manifests.
  106.
  107. You follow Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice to a quiet garden.
  108.
  109. Quietly, you murmur, "Essoheli is about to summon Mother Night."
  110.
  111. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "Oh..."
  112.
  113. You have emoted: Cheliyi rubs her temples, weary.
  114.
  115. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "I was going to stay, to see how he would react to such a need, but..."
  116. You let loose a long breath from your lungs, exhaling slowly.
  117.
  118. Velcora tilts their head curiously.
  119.
  120. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "I do not feel comfortable accepting someone who calls an innocent child a parasite as my child, my love. I am sorry to say as so."
  121.
  122. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "I understand."
  123. Velcora nods solemnly.
  124.
  125. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "It is sad."
  126.
  127. Curling inwards, you say, "I said I would stay. I was going to watch, so that someone would mourn them-."
  128.
  129. Velcora creases their brow in a frown.
  130. Velcora wraps a comforting arm around you.
  131. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "We can still mourn them..."
  132. Velcora creases their brow in a frown.
  133.
  134. You have emoted: Cheliyi inhales sharply, and then lets out a low exhale. "Ah, neverminds. I would rather prevent it than mourn, but I cannot get in the way of such an important ritual, no."
  135.
  136. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "I had hoped maybe Essoheli would still be himself. Maybe he is..."
  137. Velcora gives a pained sigh.
  138.
  139. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "I'm sorry, love."
  140.
  141. You have emoted: Cheliyi leans over and buries her face in Velcora's shoulder.
  142. You sigh quietly, frills drooping as your tail sags.
  143.
  144. Velcora lights up with a mischievous grin, seeming to puff up importantly as purple and gold feathers dance ephemerally across their skin.
  145.
  146. You have emoted: Cheliyi chuckles faintly.
  147.
  148. The yowling of distant foxes lend their romance to the midnight hour.
  149. Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.
  150. It is now the 18th of Tzarin, 608 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  151.
  152. You curl your nose up and grimace awfully.
  153.
  154. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "They will be finishing, now."
  155. You shiver violently.
  156.
  157. Velcora strokes your head in consolation.
  158.
  159. A halo of celestial light wells about you, the shells upon a shimmering wreath of seashells reflecting it outwards, painting your surroundings in a spray of oceanic hues.
  160.
  161. Quietly, you say, "It feels so terrible. Why can they not feel the air heavy with pain, there? Perhaps they are numb to it, like how I was. I hate it love, I hate it so much."
  162.
  163. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "Should we plant some seeds in the garden for the child?"
  164. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "Wait here a moment, love."
  165. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice has lost you.
  166. Swaying and bending, Velcora departs to the east, awash in a sweet, luscious scent of ripe fruit.
  167.
  168. Velcora picks up a purple tulip.
  169. Velcora creases their brow in a frown.
  170. Swaying and bending, Velcora departs to the east, awash in a sweet, luscious scent of ripe fruit.
  171.
  172. You have emoted: Cheliyi watches with a faint smile, her frills wilted as she watches Velcora walk about.
  173.
  174. Comprehension flashes across Velcora's face.
  175. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "The sieve won't work on these sorts of flowers."
  176. Swaying and bending, Velcora departs to the east, awash in a sweet, luscious scent of ripe fruit.
  177.
  178. You chuckle softly, your frilled tail flicking idly with amusement.
  179.
  180. The clock face shimmers as Velcora emerges from within.
  181.
  182. Velcora carefully slides the Sieve of Broken Lands along a Hornsmen's iris, collecting a single seed that falls into their hands.
  183. Velcora carefully slides the Sieve of Broken Lands along an ivory bluebell flower, collecting a single seed that falls into their hands.
  184. Velcora gives a seed from a Hornsmen's iris to you.
  185. Velcora gives a seed from an ivory bluebell flower to you.
  186.
  187. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Ah, thanks, love."
  188. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Do we plant them here?"
  189.
  190. Velcora digs a pair of small holes in a wildflower patch near the beehives.
  191. Velcora wraps a comforting branch around you.
  192.
  193. You have emoted: Cheliyi cradles a seed from an ivory bluebell flower in her bandaged hands, staring at the with a soft frown and watery eyes. She shuffles over to Velcora and the holes that they dug, silent.
  194.
  195. You think to yourself: ... it is silly. But it helps.
  196.
  197. You close your eyes and inhale deeply, absorbing the scent of your surroundings.
  198.
  199. Velcora closes their eyes and inhales too.
  200.
  201. You have emoted: Cheliyi gently plants each seed, covering them with soil before hovering her hand over each hole to coat the soil in a fine layer of mist.
  202.
  203. ---> look seed
  204.
  205. Looking raw and new, this a seed from a Hornsmen's iris, freshly obtained and bound for some greater purpose.
  206. It weighs 1 ounce(s).
  207. It has the following aliases: seed.
  208.
  209. Velcora raises their hands and clouds form and darken overhead, releasing a heavy rain that drenches the area.
  210.
  211. You blink.
  212. You give a trillingly melodic laugh, your frills resonating with joy.
  213.
  214. Velcora kneels and places a palm on the ground, imploring nature to give them a wooden talisman. The ground glows and a talisman pushes out of the soil, floating into their outstretched hand.
  215. Velcora begins to wield a nature talisman in their left hand.
  216. Velcora points a nature talisman at the ground and the native plants dance and grow before your very eyes.
  217. Velcora smiles softly at you.
  218.
  219. You have emoted: Cheliyi's expression softens, and she looks as if she's about to cry before she coughs and steels herself.
  220.
  221. You give Velcora a peck on the cheek.
  222.
  223. Velcora shuffles over to you and shyly takes your hand in their own.
  224.
  225. Quietly, you say, "Thank you love. You don't know how muchly that means to me."
  226.
  227. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "I am sorry I could not do more, love."
  228. Velcora raises their branches up into the air, shading you in a canopy of your own.
  229.
  230. You have emoted: Cheliyi smiles up at Velcora, her gaze full of tears. "It is more than enough."
  231.
  232. Velcora's branches sway gently as their own eyes drip something like sap.
  233.
  234. A gentle morning light slowly permeates the area, and the contented warbles of songbirds drift in after it.
  235.
  236. You think to yourself: **those two children, the first, out of ignorance, the second, out of a lack of control,**.
  237. You think to yourself: **a quiet apology for both, though you never expect forgiveness.**.
  238.
  239. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "Back to rest for me. I shall see you soon, dear."
  240. Velcora leans close to you and gently lays a kiss upon your forehead.
  241.
  242. You smile softly.
  243. You nod your head emphatically.
  244.
  245. Velcora smiles softly at you.
  246. Velcora sways back and forth.
  247. Greywalker Velcora Lunarose, Prismatic Voice says, "I love you dearly."
  248. Velcora grows still and their lips begin to move silently.
  249.
  250. You have emoted: Cheliyi looks down at the fully sprouted iris and bluebell. "I love you too."
  251.
  252. Velcora is enveloped in translucent fire for a moment and is gone, their soul safe until they returns to Lusternia.
  253.
  254. You have emoted: Cheliyi closes her eyes, letting the tears stream down her face in silent grief.
  255. Quietly, you sing, "May your veins flood with rain, let your lungs swell with vines, the earth will hold you, no more need to cry."
  256. You have emoted: Cheliyi wipes her face, stepping out of the room.
  257. Quietly, you say, "Sleep forever, in silence, and peace."
