Nimbus didn’t have much time for a social life at the moment. The daily experimentations at the lab caused hir to be late for hir own dinner sometimes. No girlfriend, no real friends at all if shi were being honest. The trials that the Canmephians, the alien race that were becoming increasingly popular in the world, had hir running were constantly evaluated and then re-evaluated sometimes four times over. All of this left little time for a social life, not that Nimbus minded. It provided an income and really that was all that mattered to the dragon at the moment. Well, that and the health of her friends and family.

Shi did have a roommate, though. And his story was a little bit tragic. His name was Lou and Lou was transgender. Male to female, though he still used the male pronouns due to his family. His family had kicked him out the year before due to his gender dysphoria. He was left homeless until Nimbus found him, took him home and then they became fast roommates and friends. Lou even got a job and eventually helped pay half the rent even though he didn’t have to.

But the one thing troubling him was being transgender. Well, not that it was troubling but that Lou wouldn’t do anything about it out of fear. Nimbus and Lou would get into arguments over yet always ended making up rather quickly and becoming fast friends again.

The day before had been no different. But this time, Nimbus had had a plan. Shi had made Lou promise to take a special pill. Yes, shi had told Lou what was inside of it and what it would do, but shi made him take it.

“Lou! I’m back after work did you eat yet?”

“Yeah, Ni. Right after I took that pill you told me to take.”

“Good! I’ll start the process then.”

Hours later and Lou still had no idea what Nimbus was talking about, or what system shi meant. All he did so far was play a game of hearthstone while chatting with some clients in China. But that was when he felt the chill go through him. He had to apologize to his clients and hang up, promising to call them back shortly and explained that he had come down with a twenty four hour bug. It wasn’t the best lie in the world but it would do for now. He sat back and prepared himself for what was coming when it hit in greater intensity.

One the chills were gone, Lou felt all rubbery inside and odd pains flared up in his joints only to be gone seconds later. He thought a good walk around the block might help, but suddenly he couldn't stand up, his legs were weak. He looked down at his jeans. They looked smaller and tighter than usual, but baggy in the groin. That's when he noticed the shivers, goose-bumps dotting his bare arms. It was all Lou could do to stay up right though he plopped right down in a nearby chair. He knew this was the doing of his room mate, Nimbus and was fine with it. But it was still a little scary.

He still could not stand up, even after a couple of minutes, and now his whole body felt insubstantial and powerless. Lou could barely lift a finger. This was only a minor distraction as his mind was distracted by the further and severe shrinkage between his legs. There was barely anything left at all, and by the feel of things he could have sworn everything had tucked right up inside of him. He might not have been able to stand and he might have wanted to scream in both fear and joy, but for now all that came was a labored breathing.

That's when Lou started to notice them. Tiny, barely anything at all, but to a guy who had never known their weight and softness, save from the rare instances of hooking up with a girl here and there, and even then it was from a very different perspective, to him, they felt monstrous and out of place, these lumps of flesh forming on his chest. The breasts also felt amazing to him, the smile forming on his face slowly. Their tips were now ultra-sensitive and as they were pressed forward against the tattered remains of his tee shirt. Somewhere along the line his breastbone had collapsed and his pecs had disappeared. Now what rose was soft and heavy and warm and... and... boobs. He was growing boobs! This filled him with excitement as he had made sure to tell Nimbus how big he—she felt more appropriate now—wanted them.

The appearance of these two assets almost distracted him from feeling the rest of him manhood slipping up inside his body. It didn't hurt—it certainly didn't feel good either, the pain only began as the bones in his hips and pelvis as they started to widen. It felt like fire and needles prickling away deep in his hips and the restructuring caused disgusting creaking and crackling noises. In his lower torso, fat started to redistribute, his abs were losing definition as his whole waist collapsed into a classic, though not exaggerated hourglass.

Lou couldn’t tell at first but then noticed that he was gaining height, slowly at first then as though by magic it started to gain speed until he was a shell of his former self, his clothes were too tight. His pants pressed into his thighs and despite the lack of a member his boxer briefs felt too small even now. Strength was just beginning to return to his muscles, most of which had grown and were still growing up, especially in his torso and arms. He slowly started to take off his clothes, struggling around with the buttons and the new fingers. His, as he still at this point identify as male, started to look like a mix of claw and finger nail. His muzzle had already pushed out and the fur spread out on his body, the numbness had made him unable to notice. His wrists were thicker with muscle, or so it seemed, and the hair on his arms was now full blown coffee chocolate brown. He wanted so badly to get up and run away to the doctor but his legs still felt like pudding in a tube.

Everywhere Lou felt bigger all over. The fat redistributed made its presence known on his chest which was now unavoidably massive, in his opinion, even for his new giant size. Now fat covered his hips and filled up his butt like warm rubber as it thickened and raised him up when he sat down. He was now almost finished transforming. Lou felt bloated, as full and uncomfortable as he'd ever been in his life and this soon passed into horrible nausea but that too passed by like lightning, mercifully over very swiftly. Soreness crept into his boobs which were one of the few places on hi..her massive body that hadn't ever stopped growing or so it felt.. They had gone from modest to pretty damn amazing.

She was now a nine foot tall, though she may also have fudged the numbers in her mind not completely sure at the moment, cougar with flowing brownish black hair, a few streaks of a minty teal flowing through it. As she stood up, she flexed her new found muscles. She got twisted around a few times because she was trying to look at her new butt. That’s when she heard the cough from the door.

“So, have you thought of a new name for yourself.”

The puma left out a sigh though it sounded more like a ‘prrf’ than anything. She hadn’t thought of a name as she was too busy. The cougar woman paced back and forth for a moment or two before holding up a finger and having a pleased look on her face.

“Ace. Ace McCoy.”

Nimbus chuckled. Shi put hir hands on the woman’s hips and smiled. The two had formed a very tight bond, tight enough that hugging was definitely allowed.

“That’s a good nickname, hon. But what about a name. For legal documentation?”

She stood in the loving embrace of the dragon herm for another couple of minutes before she pulled away and went over to her desk. The cougar took a drink from her pop and then gave a refreshed purr. That was when it hit her, her eyes sparked with recognition and instant gratification. She had no idea why it didn’t hit her before.

“Alexa. Alexa ‘Ace’ McCoy.”

Nimbus nodded and then snapped a picture, having sent it to a mutual friend of theirs with a text message of the name. A few minutes later a text message comes back, though Nimbus didn’t look for a couple of a minutes, wanting to just take it in.

“Feel better?”

“Oh yeah. I feel refreshed. Sore from the actual change and like I want to severely hurt you, but pretty good otherwise.”

“That’s good. Well, not wanting to hurt me. That’s bad and shouldn’t be done but I can understand where you’re coming. Anyway, welcome to the world Alexa. You’re safe now.”

The cougar purred and stood in front of her mirror making her boobs dance and flexed her muscles again.

“Oh, the Admiral also said shi and hir mate welcome you as well and your first pair of clothing is on them.”

Alexa purred more, glad to have so many friends. The dragon herm giggled and nuzzled her roomie. The two shared another deep embrace, then her stomach growled, which caused her to blush. The two laughed for a good minute before Nimbus stopped and pulled out hir cell phone.

“Pizza’s on me.”
