  7. RP: "Are you clear on your goals? I need you to bring me more live subjects and any metal ore you can find. My patience grows thin, Ive bigger fish to fry, now GO." RImuto spoke with barely contained impatience and annoyance, every second they were asking question was seconds he was away from his work. Yagara, the mineralist, spoke first. "Yes, Dr. Kazami, crystal clear. Expect us back in the usual 6 hours." THe small scouting party left swiftly, thankfully. As soon as he was sure they were gone, Rimuto went to the storage are of his current laboratory. His lab was already heavily restricted and guarded, it had the most obvious work off his on display. Antibiotics and various medicines, various sheets of unnamed alloys, taxidermy, chemicals, the usual. Perhaps the most dangerous or valuable thing in this fore-room would be the Rimulin Alloy, an experimental hybrid metal with a hexagonal lattice, extremely sturdy for bearing heavy weights, and very light for its size.

  9. However, they were insignificant to the hidden room works.... In his storage closet, he reaches for a bottle of Nitric acid, and twits the bottle, opening a small room concealed in corner. Crouching to fit into the space, he pulls the door closed behind him, melding seamlessly with the corner and wall on the outside. A small walk away was his true lab, were he did his most secret works. Personal interests, biological weapons, things so advanced they could endanger his life. It was a large room with a central circle of computers. Cold white light illuminates various class and steel cages with animals and plants of various levels of health. Rimuto puts his hands in his pockets and slowly walks from the entrance, to a rotating catwalk, checking each cage along his way. Perhaps his most impressive, and his favorite, were his nanobots. These creatures around him all had them flowing in their veins. He had spent the better part of ten years minimizing the size of controllable robots, and he was close to being able to make it useable, he could feel it... Three months ago, he managed to make them the size of a grain of sand. Last month, the width of human hair, and just yesterday, he made protozoa sized nanites, finally small enough for biological insertion. From here, he could work on a means to avoid the immune system without suppressing it entirely. <If only they knew, hehehehe, the Saiyans' day of reckoning will be much sooner than they think.>

  11. HIs current test subject, a subspecies of lemur, was showing incredible signs of progress in the efficacy of the nanobots. THe 20 pound lemur, with the activation of nanite control, was able to output in excess of 200 times its original, but only in short bursts, as the activation of the nanites and their travel through the blood proved painful to the monkey, and the immune system began to take more and more action to remove the nanites with each use, so he completely surpressed it chemically. The lemur was contained in an airtight, temperature controlled room, but was still falling very ill. <Maybe chromosomal damage, Ill need more da-*PING*> Rimuto reached behind his ear, pressing the transceiver imbedded into his cerebrum. Hearing the calltone as if it were in his mind, he answered it, his voice being carried as he thought it. THe expedition was successful, and they were returning. <Good. You know who to give the material too, Chisek needs to appraise and refine everything you have. What about the live specimens?> Yagara spoke back to his mind <We have three fish, various sedentary samples for microbes, and two medium sized animals, one bipedal and the other with no limbs> Rimuto gave his thanks, and told him where to meet for storage. After ending the connection, he gleefully left the nanites active in the other lemur, using his remote in pocket to destroy the lemur from the inside. <One monkey gone, an entire Saiyan race left...> They were relentless beasts, Rimuto hated them for all the things they took from him. Time and time again, even if they didn't intend to hinder his growth, they always made his life harder, for 19 years, since his first moment of memory, he has had to deal with the shattering loss at the hands of the Saiyans. When his Grandfather had been killed, it was in one of the first Saiyan Wars. When his mother died, it was by a Saiyan pillaging his home before they moved underground. His brother, taken by Saiyan royalty to do research at their behest, and despite having hope for the contrary, was most likely dead. His wife and child.... publicly executed for plotting against that same royalty. He planned to make them all feel the same way eventually, and these nanites would certainly make the job easy. With that, RImuto put his hands into his pockets, and walked to the exit of his secret lab, a door that opened behind a power monitor.
  12.
  13. Then he set back to his normal day to day duties, creating invention after invention to better his race, to ensure the downfall of the Saiyans. Surely it was a tiresome process, but science does not wait. In the meantime, he would go about doing what he could. Disease was rampant given our lack of proper sanitation, maybe he would start there.... In the moments of publicity when he wasn't working on the nanites. He lived a reasonable luxurious life is exile, modest house, self made refrigeration to preserve foods, he even managaed to give his people a form of solar energy, with panels hidden across all the planet running underground. He could probably send a few other grunts with electric shovels to make a reservoir from the ocean to Atlantis, purifying the water was an easy task.
  14. That entire expedition took the better part of only three days. He wondered why he never did it before..... His people would live on, under his wing, so long as he could breath. And behind the hidden doors of his laboratory, his plans to eradicate the saiyans march on, piles of books becoming higher, new animals becoming present, until finally, the day arrived for self study..... Before he began, he pored over all his research, over the available species, and he is certain that this is the ideal means to use on himself. "AICA, prepare for Situation 2, Project N." A large monitor in the center of the room, labeled Autonomous Intelligent Computer Assistant, responded in a modulated voice "CONFIRMED. DATA RELATED TO PROJECT N MOVED TO EXTERNAL DRIVE. LINKING VITAL SIGNS TO DELETION PROTOCOL" THis could be dangerous. If successful, the external drive would join his collection of successful datadrives, in a 60-inch thick steel reinforced sublab. If he failed, it would be formatted to try again. If he died... the computer would delete every bit of data and set a fire trail to burn his lab to dust. He layed on the table, and pushed a series of buttons on the side console. A beige apparatus with various needles in a rotary harness whirred to life, hovering over Rimuto. <Anesthetic first. Next, I hope that my diagrams of my own body are accurate enough for an automated surgery...> "AICA.... administer anesthetic, and begin procedure." "CONFIRMED" THe needles lower, one needle extending from the bunch. He feels the needle pierce his skin, the fluid enter his chest, and then the room begins to blur and blacken as he falls to sleep.
  15.
  16. "...ATA DELETION IN 5...4..3..2- LIFE SIGNS DETECTED. DISPENSING ADRENALINE" Rimuto slowly opened his eyes as his hearing focused, then was immediately alert and ready for anything as the adrenaline kicked in. He vaulted off the experimentation table, suddenly realizing that he shouldn't have done that, as the adrenaline needle was stuck in his chest.... But he felt no pain, and reaching for his chest, no needle mark... "This can only mean....AICA, Decrease adrenaline by 30%, dispense 10cc morphine to spinal column." "CONFIRMED" Rimuto could feel himself relax, and feel the pain of surgery fade.... the nanobots were dispensing morphine directly into his blood! He had done it! He jumped for joy, and was astounded even further when he bashed his head against the roof, not realizing his new augmented muscle. When called to action, they coated his muscle tissue, increasing its durability, tensile strength, and most of all, power transfer. He would eventually be able to make himself as strong as the Saiyans! But first, it was time to get rid of the remote, and put the controls directly in his mind....
