  1. Description: Located in a massive spiraling cavern, once a deep gold mine, Profund De Morte appears, at first glance, to be nothing more than a large trade outpost carved into the rock at the base of a mountain. Beyond the thick stone walls lies a modest bustling town which appears oddly devoid of any sort of residential sectors. One would conclude that the merchants live and eat in their shops and they would be wrong, for behind the spiral sloping walls at the back of the massive cavern are many hidden passages leading to enormous underground holds and caverns containing a sprawling necropolis rivaling even the city on the bridges in its grandeur. Built and abandoned long ago by the dwarves when they breached into the underdark, and awoke a Wyrm, the city is filled with undead, daemons, drow, and surviving dwarves, now Dwergar, who have sought a life better than what they had, and fled the deep reaches of the underdark, the abyss and abbadon. The dead have made the city their own, hewing from rock and granite great structures. Here they take shelter for fear of the sun, and the mortals on the surface that may judge them, and dare not flee back. They keep their secrets closely guarded… and all tense when traveling minstrels and paladins enter the town above. Necromancers are killed on sight.
