Poem 5

The wind blows against
A broken home
Walls divide
Into two
On one side is her
On the other him
The wall built by others
The wall itself is not that strong
Tho that was before years
Of pain and suffering
Of forgetting and cheating
Were added on
To where the wall
That divides him and her
That turn the home broken
Can never be destroy
Not even by a part of the children they forgot about.
Not even the pleas of sisters and brothers
And so when they are gone and in their graves
It ad if the wall moved with them for they were not buried
Side by side but far
Far from each other
And then the home itself broken
With the wind blowing against it
Holds the only sign
That they were ever
Together
A crib
Toys
And
A
Crying
Baby
That was never born
