  7. [13:06:33] Maria Shateiel: Recently, Clio Hirano has siezed control of the island, and may be using it for experiments on an entity known as The Greyrot.

  14. [13:09:07] Maria Shateiel: It is apparently the remains of the Dreamer. As such, it will be captured and studied before any further actions with it. Denying Clio what may very well be the essence of a divinity is vital to our survival.

  26. [13:14:14] Maria Shateiel: Whatever tales you've heard, I think we can all agree it's not something to leave in the hands of Clio. Standing orders are to avoid casualties and take prisoners where possible. We are not barbarians, but war is war.

  32. [13:18:30] Sirus Blackmane: I'm torn. Obviously Dumuzid is the larger threat but at the same time...
  33. [13:19:21] Sirus Blackmane: Cilo obtaining the Greyrot...
  34. [13:19:21] Sirus Blackmane: We're at a crossroads here.
  35. [13:20:12] Thom M. Takashi: .. Neither one is good but.. -frowns- we're breaking our word.. again aren't we..?
  36. [13:21:04] Maria Shateiel: We never gave our word to her about anything. If you recall, she declined out of any arrangement, and merely said we would pay a price.
  37. [13:21:04] Raa'za Mikoto: <*Sigh*> I don't think Dumuzid really compared to the Dreamer... Clio with that power. <*Shivers*>
  38. [13:21:04] Sirus Blackmane: Personally speaking I feel as if this is a problem that needs to be debated amongst all champions of the Eternal Flame.
  39. [13:21:55] Sirus Blackmane: This kind of choice seems...
  40. [13:21:55] Maria Shateiel: Cinderfall, as it stands, is enemies with the entire world.
  41. [13:21:55] Sirus Blackmane: Well... I don't really know how to put it.
  42. [13:26:11] The orange haired youth frowned and would shake his head slightly, looking towards Maria.

  44. " 'We will support you. One day though, the price of your sins, the debt that you owe this world? It will be paid.' Those.. Were the words that you said at the meeting. That the debt would be paid but that during the war we would support Cilo.. That we sould leave fighting Nostvale for later..

  46. I.. I don't know how to feel about this." With his part said, Thom just clutched his head, burring his face in his hand and leaning agianst the tree. It just felt.. Wrong to him.

  48. ".. If thats the way we're going ok but.. I really do feel like we're breaking our word."

  50. [13:31:18] Maria Shateiel: Yes, but she rejected that extension, Thom.
  51. [13:32:09] Sirus nodded over at Thom. Now that the teen brought it up, it did feel a bit off for him as well. "I'd agree with Thom but... Bah, I'm in the middle about all this. It's wrong to go against our word as our enemies can spin it saying we're distrustful and backstabbing since Dumuzid is knocking on all our doors yet... We won't get a window of opportunity like this again."

  53. He looked down towards the grass. The Greyrot is a powerful asset, one that could help Cinderfall's development and defense immensely yet at the same time, using it and the methods of obtaining it could put Cinderfall in a negative spotlight even moreso than it already is.

  56. [13:38:08] A shake of the sixteen year old's head would have quickly come. "She didn't reject that extension Maria.. That was the last thing that you said and she accepted it too..." The frown just continued to hang on the orange haired youth's mouth as he took a seat down near the tree.

  58. "I know that we'll have to fight them one day but.. We're the heroes. We're the good guys. We do what we say we're going to... We should try at least." With the final words escaping his lips the boy once more fell silent. He certainly understood what Sirus and Maria were saying and yet at the same time.. He didn't feel right about it. Not at all.
