  1. Angeles City, aside from being a bustling highly-urbanized area, also lies at the crossroads between popular urban destinations in Luzon, such as Tarlac City, Baguio City, Dagupan City and the Subic-Olongapo metropolitan area. With its drive to become the hub of a proposed mega-city project, it has the potential of developing an expanded and upgraded hotel industry that will cater to a global clientele. In fact, it has already been doing that through its existing chains of hotels and resorts frequented by vacation lovers and business people.

  3. One such hotel choice is the Wild Orchid Hotel in Angeles City which offers amenities and services at par with those of top hotels in the country and throughout the world. Guests may either choose between checking in into a suite, with or without a lagoon view, or a mid-range priced room, recommended for families visiting from nearby areas. All rooms are air-conditioned and provided with amenities, such as wifi and room service all throughout the day.

  5. Guests may also enjoy their time swimming at the pool or at the lagoon and having drinks at the counter beside the pool or while dipping in the water. Other outdoor activities include a round of golf at the golf course where one can enjoy the presence of good company at a leisurely pace. Players will need to pay only once to cover all expenses, namely, Green Fee, Caddy Fee, Round-Trip transport and Golf Cart.

  7. For the more adventurous, a trek going up the slopes of Mt Pinatubo will provide hikers a close-up view and rare experience of the crater. The whole trek includes an one-hour hike from Angeles to Capas, an hour-and-a-half hike from Capas to Botolan and another 2 hours of uphill hiking to the crater. The rewarding vista is a once-in-a-lifetime taste of Nature’s placid beauty that hides her massive power to overturn and change the whole Central Luzon Plains the way it did when it erupted in June 1991. Coming down from the crater and going back to the comfort and peace of your hotel room will surely stretch not just one’s muscles and sinews but also one’s view of the world and of life as amazing gifts of divine creation.
