[11:08] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] sniffs against and re-buries his face against John's shoulder. And finally, gradually, he lets it all out. After holding it in so long, it's strained and hoarse, definitely sounding like someone who very rarely lets himself sob. Sometimes it comes in chokes, sometimes in growls, his shoulders shaking and his feathers ruffled. --
[11:11] -- ectoBiologist [EB] softly strokes his back to let comfort him whilst he was letting it out, making sure to be very careful with stroking the feathery down around his neck. He also whispered small comforts into his ear to help him along. "It's okay"s and "Everything's alright now, Dave"s, "No need to hold it back anymore", "It's all alright now", and the other one he used was "It's okay, i'm here for you now." --
[11:15] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] takes a bit of a long time, understandably with as much as he's been holding in for so very, very long. But he finally lifts his head and pulls back, face wet and yellow-stained, and eyes puffy and bloodshot. He takes a few deep, shaky breaths, trying to recollect himself. He clears his throat before trying to talk. --
[11:15] TG: thank you
[11:21] -- ectoBiologist [EB] nods and smiles at him, continuing to gently stroke his back for further comfort. --
[11:21] EB: no problem. do you feel better?
[11:23] TG: aside from my enitre face hurting and being unable to breathe through my nose properly??
[11:23] TG: yeah kinda
[11:24] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] offers John a small half-smile, almost, /almost/, meeting his eyes. And with the crying over and done with, and the continued stroking to his back, he starts to make quiet, raspy birdlike cooing in his throat. --
-- turntweetGodsprite [TG] is now an idle chum! --
[11:35] -- ectoBiologist [EB] chuckles a little at the small noises and arches an eyebrow, continuing to stroke his fingers through the feathers and smooth them over. --
[11:35] TG: whatre you chuckling at
[11:36] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] also raises an eyebrow, narrowing his eyes, but the little cooing sounds dont stop. And when John smooths down his feathers, they just ruffle again under his fingers. --
[11:37] EB: hee hee, what's with the cute little noises? are they just reactions?
[11:37] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] almost startles, his feathers standing on end. He hadn't noticed he was making noises, and now he's trying unsuccessfully to supress them. --
[11:37] TG: shut up
[11:43] -- ectoBiologist [EB] continues just running his fingers through the feathers on his back, and then slides his hands up to the large mass of feathers around the neck and begins to pet them, wondering if he'll still make the noises from here, too. --
[11:46] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] completely fails at any attempt at not making any more of those noises, because as soon as John moves to the neckruff, he bows his head and the cooing grows louder, his ears turning yellow. --
[11:58] -- ectoBiologist [EB] notices the slight change in his noises and sees the forming colour on his ears and cheeks. He gives a little squeak of surprise and pulls his hands away in realisation and watches him almost apologetically. --
[11:58] EB: o-oh jeez! sorry about that, i didn't realise that... uh, sorry!
[11:59] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] promptly covers his face with his hands in embarrassment, the cooing stopping right away. --
[11:59] TG: oh my god i didnt know that would happen
[12:01] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] curls his wings around himself, feathers on end, and slumps, chin sinking into his ruff. --
[12:02] EB: uh, h-hey no it's okay! sorry i was just, surprised was all.
[12:04] TG: its fine dude i didnt know that would happen either
[12:05] TG: maybe just stay away from that area
[12:11] EB: okay sure... sorry... i didn't. yeah.

[12:12] -- ectoBiologist [EB] looks away and rubs the back of his neck. He really hadn't meant to do that. But to watch Davesprite like that wa-For fucks sake shut up! What the hell was John thinking right now? God his brain needed to shut the fuck up. --
[12:17] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] is taking a moment to finally rub his face with the backs of his scaley hands, trying to rub away the yellow stain of dried tears. --
[12:17] TG: bluh
[12:22] -- ectoBiologist [EB] looks back at up and tries to pick the conversation up again, not wanting to go totally silent after that. --
[12:22] EB: so uh... it's good that you're feeling better, dude.
[12:22] TG: yeah
[12:22] TG: thanks again
[12:22] TG: i actually
[12:22] TG: really needed that
[12:22] TG: wow
[12:25] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] sniffs a bit loudly, face mostly clear of yellow now. --
[12:25] EB: i'm glad to hear that!
[12:29] -- turntweetGodsprite [TG] makes himself more comfortable, relaxing now, coiling his tail up like he's some sort of serpent. --
