   ↝ despite her young age, kim seowoo is without a doubt a mum friend. even though she's only eighteen, she has insane mother instincts, and likes to fuss and baby people who are younger than her (and sometimes even people who are older than her). she loves little kids and babying people, and if hadn't gone into the entertainment industry, she probably would've done a degree for teaching. she is literally like a walking mother, and always carries around bandaids and tissues, and always seems to pull sugary snacks out of nowhere as peace offerings. she is extremely protective over the people she's closest too, and has often been compared to a mama bear. she's usually a very kind and polite person. however, if you mistreat someone she's close to you, she's likely to get pissed off, and you'll be on her blacklist for life. seowoo can hold grudges for a very long time, and is likely to hold it over you until the day you die. you might be trying to get on her good side, but trust me, seowoo still remembers the time you stole her pencil six years ago and never returned it - it's going to take you a lot to get back into her good books. she is also a severe worry wart, and tends to get worried over the smallest of things that don't matter. she always likes to know what is going on, so when something is kept from her, it makes her feel anxious. she is also a bit of a control freak, in the sense that she gets worried over things that she can't control. she is also a very blunt person, and can always be relied upon to give you the uttermost truth, even if it is the last thing you want to hear. she's a realist, border lining a pessimist, and doesn't often look on the bright side. she tells things as they are, and often states the obvious and the worst times. this trait makes her a bit of a pain in the arse, and is something that pisses off the people around her, but she honestly can't help it. that being said, she's not the best liar, despite being a brilliant bullshitter. she can't spin lies off the tip of her tongue, mostly due to the fact that people can tell straight away that she's guilty, because she has a very obvious guilty face. yet somehow, she's brilliant at bullshitting and waffling her way through things. she likes to consider herself very good at winging things (usually tests that she forgot to study for in between her training and idol activities). seowoo is actually a relatively smart person, but she relies on her street smarts to get her through life. she's got a good education, and she's graduated, but she's not exactly the type of person who can start spewing math and science formulas off the tip of her tongue – especially not when she doesn't think she'll need to know all of the stuff like circle theorems or electron configurations while pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. however, given all of this, seowoo could also fit the description of an evil maknae. she's probably one of the younger members of her group, and acts a lot like the maknae (probably more so that the actual maknae), and she's also got a bit of a baby face which makes her look younger. while most of the time she acts responsible, she's not above pulling childish pranks, and usually tries to pass the blame onto someone else. she's often mistaken for the maknae (if she's not already the maknae), due to her childish looks that seem to overpower her mother-like nature. but overall, seowoo is just a young adult who really likes babying other people and looking after her friends.

➤┆ BACKGROUND:
   ↝ kim seowoo was born in daegu, south korea, as the second of four daughters to her parents, who'd only recently got married, after the birth of their first daughter, seowoo's older sister. four years later, seowoo's younger sister seojung was born, and then two years after that came the youngest sister, seomin. growing up, seowoo was extremely close with all of her sisters, and they often got along a lot better than most siblings. they rarely ever fought seriously, and when they did fight, it was always about petty little things like who got to use the bathroom first. seowoo was always insanely protective over her younger sisters, and they were the ones that brought out seowoo's inner motherly instincts. she always made sure that they were okay, and threatened to beat up anyone who treated them wrong (it was an empty threat though, because seowoo was rather scrawny). however, seowoo was always a lot closer to her oldest sister, probably because they was a less significant age gap between them. while her younger siblings brought out her motherly insincts, her older sister brought out her childish side. at school, seowoo was always an average  student. she was never at the top of her class, but she was never really failing either. she developed an interest in music at a young age, after seeing a small band out busking while shopping with her mother. this encouraged her to start singing, and she begged and begged and begged her mother to let her have vocal lessons. after weeks of begging and bargaining with her parents, they finally let her sign up for vocal lessons to develop her vocal technique, once they discovered that seowoo was a lot better at singing than they'd originally thought. she auditioned for fantagio entertainment when she was thirteen years old, after hearing that they were holding open auditions. seowoo begged to be allowed to attend the audition, and her parents eventually caved and let her go. needless to say, seowoo was eventually accepted on as a trainee and went on to debut in a girl group, which, unfortunately, didn't have the success she was aiming for.

   ↝ seowoo is a very charismatic performer who is able to captivate the audience's attention during her parts of the song. she is a stable vocalist with a higher range than most, who can hit high notes with ease. she has brilliant lung capacity, and is definitely a stable vocalist, thanks to years of vocal training. she is a decent dancer, but she isn't very good at standing out while dancing, and is very easily overshadowed by her group mates during dance breaks, which she usually tries to make up with her above average vocals.

   ↝ seowoo likes to consider herself as rather good at variety, especially compared to her group mates. she's not afraid to come out of her shell on live tv, and her blunt and honest nature is something that viewers eat, which gives her a bit of confidence. at the same time, she tries not to over do it, because she doesn't want people to hate her for over shining compared to her group mates, and she wants to make sure they get screen time too, which is why her own screen time tends to vary, where she could be seen in almost every shot on one show because she's entertaining, to only seen in two shots on another because she's trying to hold back. she's also really good at fanservice, because she is extremely thankful for her groups fanbase, despite it being rather small. she always wants to show her love to fans, and can often be seen posing for photographs with fans and signing autographs.

➤┆ WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER THE MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT? WHY?
   ↝ lyrics and singing. seowoo has loved to sing ever since she was a child, and she just loves being able to belt out lyrics and tell people a story through her songs. she also really likes writing her own lyrics, and she finds it a good way to cope with things, which is why she can often be found frantically scribbling in her lyric book after she's had a bad day, trying to get all of her negative emotions out of her system via lyrics.

➤┆ WHY ARE THEY CONTINUING TO PURSUE AN IDOL CAREER, DESPITE SEEING LITTLE SUCCESS IN THE PAST?
   ↝ seowoo does not like to give up, and after all the effort she put in to become an idol in the first place, she's not willing to just let it all go to waste. she's spent hours upon hours training and pushing herself beyond her limits to meet the standards set for her by idol companies, and if there is a chance, no matter how small it is, that she can become successful in this profession, she's going to do whatever she can to cling onto it.

➤┆ WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOUR CHARACTER GIVE TO THOSE WISHING TO PURSUE AN IDOL CAREER?
   ↝ if they were really serious about it, seowoo would encourage them to go for it. but she also wants them to know that being an idol is extremely difficult and hard, and sometimes you don't always get the recognition you think you deserve. being an idol isn't a decision you can just make out of the blue, half heartedly. being an idol means giving up things that might be important to you, and pushing yourself to the limit, and if you are prepared to go through all of that, then seowoo will encourage you the whole way.
