  1. Wild Growth: A sub-section of Shapeshifting I shoulda mentioned. Shapeshifting PARTS OF her body as opposed to full bits, i.e growing claws and stuff. Developing fangs, etc. Wild Growth follows similar limitations to Shapeshifting but is wildly dependent on how much strain on her body it puts.
  2.
  3. Should be mentioned that compelled animals are capable of having Wild Growth applied to them, allowing them to develop stronger muscles, sharper teeth, and so on and so forth. This also includes things such as 'oak skin' to enhance durability. Limitations? Very similar to Shapeshifting in the fact that it's limited by her pain tolerance, though due to being partially undead, her ability to withstand pain is pretty great. This is just an all purpose utility spell of hers.
  4.
  5. Plant Manipulation: To a small degree; the ability to cause vines to entangle subjects or lengthen and control blades of grass. This isn't exactly as powerful as animal compulsion; she can't abuse it to uproot a tree's roots to use the aforementioned ritual for example. She may be able to bend certain tree branches or have them do other party tricks, or create thorny briars to blockade things.
  6.
  7.
  8.
  9. Undead Creation: Very limited, but yes. This is honestly what I was most concerned about. Naiise bestowed this power upon her as well, and true to the idea of creating and propagating things that are generally hated, Demia is capable of making undead creatures. This method is very lengthy though and is more as a means of resurrection than making a true mindless zombie most necromancers rely on, and it's thus not really used outside of those Demia really respects enough to see living again.
  10.
  11. So, what makes it different? Well, the the Undead created retains memories, their mind, free will, everything. Demia is totally incapable of manipulating them through any means outside of persuasion or actual interaction.
  12.
  13. This requires a special ritual involving the use of a specially carved wooden heart, fashioned from the roots of trees. The wooden heart replaces the subject's actual heart, and they then rise later.
  14.
  15. Nothing much changes, though since they're undead, they may take on a few other qualities. Most notably, pain tolerance and numbness to feeling much. This is how Demia is numb to pain, and why she went from being a tan skinned beauty to a pale gaunt woman later down the line. Naiise replaced her heart with one of these and raised her.
  16.
  17.
  18. Shapeshifting: Demia's shapeshifting is powerful, yes, but actually one of her more limited powers. She can only shapeshift about...three times a day on average. It isn't like she can change between forms instantly, and it's more on the fly. While she CAN do it more, it's really something she avoids due to the amount of stress and pain it puts on her body.
  19.
  20. Because the way it works is it reshapes her body; she feels her bones expanding or shrinking, she feels her muscles contracting or tearing to compensate for a new form. It's very painful, and it takes a while for her to properly transform. The whole reason she CAN shapeshift as frequent as she can is because Naiise blessed her with a body that vaguely numbs her flesh and gives her a lot of pain tolerance.
  21.
  22. But it isn't absolute. She can still feel pain, and shapeshifting hurts.
  23.
  24. She's also generally limited by size; she can shrink down to roughly the size of a hummingbird at most. (small sizes hurt a lot because it compacts her bones).
  25.
  26. Shapeshifting takes time depending on the size too. If its a big change, it can probably take one-two posts to complete. She can also shapeshift up to around a 'large' creature by D&D Standards. Thats roughly 8~16 feet tall or long.
  27.
  28.
  29.
  30. Animal Compulsions: Demia is capable of compelling animals to do her bidding. There is very limitations to this; as it was an ability she had since she was a very small child. This compulsion extends to insects and other simple minded creatures, and yet, is likely her single most powerful ability. These compulsions are dangerous if they stretch out too thin though; she's limited to how much she can 'mind control' at once in the sense that too much will lead to giving her not just a headache, but risk bleeding from her eyes/mouth/ears.
  31.
  32. Still, she's able to control a lot of animals before it becomes a problem. Another limitation is that the animals have to not be sapient; in other words, if an animal is capable of human thought, then she wont be able to compel it. It's strictly for wild animals. Further more, certain wild animals would likely be immune. Particularly magical beasts like Dragons and such. Animals that aren't compelled for a long period and distance themselves also eventually stop being obedient to her; she can't control animals from a far distance.
