Touhou Fighter Alpha: Prologue

Dan Hibiki was laying in his dojo in sorrow. Never has he won a real fight. He never won in any tournament. He could never beat anyone. He couldn't beat Ryu, Ken, Sakura, hell not even Blanka(Jimmy)  All he does is try to be cool to everyone, but everyone hates him. Dan has tried to get everyone to come to his dojo to teach anyone Saikyo, but since he forgot to include a address, how can anyone hope to find this place?. He then looked at the Picture of his father, Go Hibiki, the greatest fighter he knew as a kid, but ever since his death, he wanted to avenge his father, but he never did. He thought he could beat Sagat, the killer of Go Hibiki, but he threw the fight. It proved that he never did beat him at all.

Dan thought he face facts. He's a weakling. He never could be a great fighter. He has low ki. He was never given proper training, he never had anyone to train him. He could never be a great fighter. He looked at the picture of his father and cried. 'Father, I'll never be a great fighter like you are' he cried looking at the picture.

Outside, he was eating a bowl of Gyudon(Beef and Rice). He looked at his life back in his eyes. He wanted to learn the ways Ansatsuken, but was sent home for a pity thought of revenge, or to Ken's fact that he sucks at fighting. Dan thought that he should give up and work on a new goal. Suddenly he saw a giant nearby. He knew that hide anywhere. It was the king of Thailand, Sagat. He was the reason that his life was in shambles. Dan was seeking the opportunity to strike him without being caught. He wanted to make him pay for his misfortune.

Just when Dan tried to make a move on him, 'Go ahead, I'm not planning on fighting back' Sagat spoke. Dan was shocked in disbelief to know that he was waiting for him. Sagat stand up in a for Dan to make a move. He growled and raised his hand, filled with energy, and fired it. 'Gadouken!' the blast would of got to him, but it instead disappeared. Dan knew it wouldn't reach him. He didn't have to guts to fight him. He kneel on his knees, waiting for him to make it quick.

But to his surprised, Sagat dropped a bowl of gyudon. Dan looked up dumbfounded at Sagat. He didn't try to beat him in two. Sagat looked down to Dan with a face of regret. 'I'm sorry for killing for father. I was a monster then, until Ryu woke me up to the truth. I won't expect for you to forgive me, but all I can tell you is that I hope you find it in your heart to forget about your father, that way you can be stronger' with that said from Sagat like a philosopher, he left Dan to think.

Dan then signed, and in a sudden, he was back in his dojo. Thinking about everything what he said, but the partner about getting stronger by forgetting about his father, why?. Dan then decided to do what he doesn't normally have the patience for, and that is meditating on it. As he was focusing on his mind, he was in a position where he felt his ki was rising in a green glow around his body. As the Saikyo fighter was feeling more relaxed, suddenly, 'Hibiki-San!' out of the scream of a girl, he was interrupted, causing his goofy manner to fall on his face.

He saw was his only student, Sakura. 'Hey kiddo, what brings you here?' Dan asked. Sakura knew Dan for something he is, until he was doing what he doesn't even think about doing. 'Were you meditating just now?' Sakura ask. Dan was slowly getting up. 'Ehhh, yeah, you got problem with that?' Dan exclaimed. 'Well, no, but it's kinda unlike you. Did something happen?' Sakura questioned him. Dan frowned and said, 'Just heard something from a wise man, that said, forget the feeling oh what happened to your father that day, and maybe you can be stronger'

Sakura gasped to what those words. Never did she think he would be taking some advice. Dan was never one to take anyone's advice. What changed him. 'Dan...?' She worried. 'I've got to do what I never done for myself' Dan said. As he put on his pride face on with tears in his eyes. He started running around his dojo. Sakura dropped her jaw in shocked. He was doing training she does in her training list. 100 laps around the dojo, 500 push ups, 500 pull ups, 500 sit ups and 800 squats. All of those were achieved in each hour of those training. As Dan was done, he was sweating up a storm. 'Phew, that felt good, I feel like a new Dan. I never felt so strong. Why have I never trained like that before?' Dan praised his training.

Now Sakura knows something is wrong with Dan, he was usually that ego weirdo she liked to spend with, but now something is new and weird about him. 'Dan, I'm not sure if I'm liking you, but I wanted to ask if you heard of the disappearances of the four fighters fighters?' Sakura asked. 'I know, four years ago, Ryu disappeared during a tournament, then three Ken Masters was driving on a car one night, but was left out. They say Ken was kidnapped, last year the two twins, Yang and Yun Lee left without a trace, nowhere to be found' Dan explained Sakura's request.

Sakura was dumbfounded. Dan giving out words that makes sense is starting to get weird. Dan on the other hand was walking out and tried to make his way to one place to head to, but before he left, 'I have to go see a old friend' with that, he left the dojo, leaving Sakura leaving Sakura frozen in confusion.

As Dan was leaving while holding a sack with things he needs, he left a note to them as they left. He ventured to his destination. He found his way to the plains of the beautiful valley. He walked up to the same man who sent expelled him. 'Gouken!' he yelled to his master. The Ansatsuken master turned to his very first student. 'Do I need to ask why you came back?' The old master exclaimed. 'I didn't come here for you to take me back, I came back to you if you have any wisdom to where Ryu and Ken are. Do you know where?' Dan answered him.

Gouken looked to Dan and nothing something changed in him. He was seeming mature. 'You've grown for the first time, I see. I wish to take you back for this, but you have already master your own aura. I will give you this. Both hands are the key of true might. Do not try to use it's evil power' Gouken said.

Dan was little of the riddles. He sat down and looked at Gouken. 'My first student, my first mistake was not disciplining you, so I will take you about a world where you may have a place there. But when you go there, you won't be able to return and will not be the same as you used to be' Gouken said, making Dan puzzled.

Gouken pointed a far away forest nearby. As Dan was gonna turn back to see him, but instead like magic, he was gone. Dan found a scroll on the ground. Dan picked it up and looked at it. He read the scroll. He found what was known to the scroll that it was never used before, even by Gouken's master or the master before him. Dan folded the scroll and walked out and headed somewhere.

Dan was walking up there in that forest for hours. He was getting nervest at first, but he sucked up his gut and continued on. He heard something nearby, like some laughter of a girl. 'Who's there!?' Dan spoke. He looked around to find this mysterious girl. Soon after, he saw a big well. Dan looked down to the well confused to see what's in there.

He went his head down deep and a little deeper, then something glowed. Dan wasn't sure wither or not he should check it out by going down there. However something or someone behind him pushed him down to the well. 'Errrrahhhhhhh!' Dan screamed as he fell down down to the well. Everything was dark, There was nothing else to be seen deep down there. A mysterious girl laughed at the human, falling into a world where he can never get out. 'Well time for my nap' she said as a gap to dimensions have taken her back home.
