Also, my Dude, this strident demanding take that you have is emblematic to me of the kind of strident and demanding posts that people make about this topic. And I think you think you're doing something right but the way you're doing it is no better than what's your pretending to accuse people you're criticizing of doing. I say pretending because of the obvious double standard which weakens your position.

aside from that moral perspective... like how effective do you think these sort of tantrum type posts are going to be to get change?  you're basically taking the view that the company is absolutely wrong and you are absolutely right so who cares about anything except for what you're demanding.

I mean take a step back and consider what gives you the right to take that absolute point of view? I think it comes down to psychology... it feels very good to be able to do this but are you actually helping the people you're talking like you are? I don't think you are and are you actually engaging in a sort of useful and critical and respectful discussion where--yes, i think as much as you seem to not want to--you do need to care about the feelings of the people who you're expecting to do something for you.

Even if you hate or dislike those people it's never a good negotiation strategy to be mean to someone who can hurt you by doing nothing.

I probably shouldn't even respond to this I'm probably getting a kick from my ape brain by pushing back against you doing your ape brain shit here too. I'm not saying I'm absolutely right with the view that I'm taking or that I'm wise enough or outside of my ape brain combat mode perspective enough to even know if I'm being helpful here but I'm just trying to drag this type of conversation back to something that I rationally think and in my experience I believe I've learned is helpful.

So my advice to you and which I should probably take myself is take a deep breath and think before joining the apocalypse crusade of these types of demanding and strident posts about this sort of topics.
