After some discussion regarding VPN usage, we have made some adjustments to the VPN Rules which we believe fairly takes into account the privacy of our users while still upholding the security of the site. A field has been added to the bottom of your profile settings where you may enter the IP you wish to use for browsing the site. Staff will be alerted of the request and you will receive a confirmation or rejection of the IP.

What types of VPNs are permitted?

    Only static, dedicated IPs will be approved. Dynamic and/or shared IPs are not permitted!


Who can request to use a VPN?

    Any user who has 2FA enabled.
    Users of class Elite Gamer and higher, even if 2FA is disabled.


How can I request to use a VPN?

    Enter the IP you wish to use in your profile settings and click the 'Save Profile' button.
    Users below Elite Gamer should ensure they have 2FA enabled before making a request.
    Wait for staff to approve or deny the request before browsing the site through the requested IP.


We hope that these changes will allow more users to feel comfortable in browsing the site without having to expose their IP to any prying eyes such as ISPs.
