Robinson Marlowe Wedding: Part 2

Alexithymiaa: -Everyone was huddled together inside the the bridal suite waiting to be announced into the rest of the party. Steph was practically bubbling with excitement as she spun around, making hand gestures at her hair. "Can you take my veil off?" // Noah had been herded down the stairs with the rest of the guests, walking over to the far table to grab his name card with his seating arrangement and Tae's, turning to hand hers off to her. "Over there." // Brad shuffled along slowly behind the group, making sure to keep a hold of Connor's hand since the crowd was trying to take their seats. He followed along the line to the table to get the name cards before directing him to sit. // Once the guests were downstairs and all seated, the DJ started up a swell of music, the MC coming on the sound system. "Let's give a big warm welcome to your groomsman and bridesmaid, Bryan and Carol-Josephine!" // With CJ on his arm, The doors of the suite opened and he walked out to the sound of the guests' applause, walking her down to the far wall to stand beside the table to wait for the others. // "Let's hear it for our best man, maid of honor and our ring bearer! Sebastian, Cadence, and Patrick!"-
Covet: Felix looked at her, taking her hands, to put them down, "Okay, okay, give me a second." He said then went about removing her veil so that it wasn't in the way and such. Then he waited for them to be announced. // Tae was following along with Noah, wondering if they were going to be seated with his parents, and wasn't sure how to feel about that because they weren't exactly fond of her to begin with. // Kelsey was holding the miraculously sleeping baby against her as they made their way downstairs to find their spot. She was waiting for Cadence to come back out with Trick and all that so that she could hand the baby off. // Cadence was holding onto Trick, as they were announced and came out. She smiled and made her way over to the Bridal table. She sat down and looked around for Kelsey. // Rochelle was talking to Benji waiting to ambush Steph and Felix when they came out with happy hugs.
Alexithymiaa: "And now I'm happy to introduce the new Mr and Mrs Felix Marlowe!" // Once the veil was off her head, she reached out to take Felix's hand, smiling up at him and stepping forward out of the bridal suite and into the party. Dean was poised and ready to take pictures, snapping away as he does. // "And now the newlyweds will have their first dance as husband and wife." // Hearing their cue, She walked slowly along with Felix to the open dance floor, spinning around to face him. "Ready?" She asked as she took his hand, placing her other on his shoulder when the music started. // Noah looked at his parents seated a few chairs down from them before leaning in to whisper to Tae. "With any luck they'll be too distracted to give me shit when I take this tie off." // Brad sat up a bit straiighter in his seat so he could watch them, actually liking the song surprisingly enough.-
Covet: Walking out Felix smiled and took her hand so that they could go out on the dance floor. He could see his mom waiting in the wings, but they had Husband and wife things to do so he walked past her with Steph, nothing but smiles as the music started up, dancing around with her. "Have I mentioned to you that you look absolutely beautiful, my sweet wife." He told her, as he gave her a kiss.// Tae looked down the row, "Well I don't know why they would... The groom's not even wearing a tie. Take that cloth noose off." She said to him. // Kelsey had made her way over to Cadence to hand off Rhythm, then went to sat back down next to Connor and Bradley, "Aww, this is a sweet song." She said as she sat down.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph smiled back at him carefully spinning around and keeping time with the music like they'd practiced. "You have, though I don't mind hearing all of those words over and over again. Have I mentioned to you that you look completely stunning, my sweet husband?" // "I really don't think that's the point. They just expect certain things. But the party is starting so this is coming off." He reached his hands up to his neck, loosening the tie until the knot was hanging at his chest. // Brad nodded, watching the two dance around in the middle of everyone. "I was just thinking that. I didnt think I'd like whatever sappy song they chose because it's not usually my style, but I actually really like this." He pulled his eyes from them and looked at Kelsey. "Did you bring the baby back to Cadence?"-
Covet: "You'll be hearing it a lot over the next couple of weeks, I'm sure." He said to her with a laugh. "Stunning, well that sounds nice." He told her. "Are you happy, Red?" He asked her. // "Well screw them, It's a party, party it up. It's your life." She said to him, then watched the couple, "They look so perfect for each other."// "Yeah she was going to take her into the Bridal suite to sleep, and to change Trick." She said to him. "They're both into music, Why did you assume their choice was going to suck?" She asked with a laugh. "If we were to do such a thing, what do you think we would chose?" Kelsey asked.
Alexithymiaa: "I couldn't be happier." She told him as she leaned in to give him a kiss on the lips as the song ended, the DJ segwaying into another. Glancing off to the side, she saw Rochelle lingering, nodding in her direction. "I think mom is waiting patiently to dance with you." // Noah turned to look over at Felix and Steph, giving a nod. "Yeah, I guess. They're both perfectly and equally annoying so that's pretty true." // "It's not that I assumed their choice specifically would suck, but these first dances are always slow sappy songs and I dont like very many of them. It was just a better chance statistically that they'd choose a song I didn't like." He gave a casual shrug, before trying to think. "I don't know. I can't even think of one of this type that I don't hate right now."-
Covet: "I think she's more excited to attack you. You're the first daughter she's got." He said with a laugh. "But I'll get a dance in with her." He said letting go of Steph then nodded at Rochelle to come over. She quickly came over but gave Steph the biggest hug. "I'm so happy for you both. I can't believe you decided to marry this pain in the butt." She said with a laugh. "Okay, now Dance with me." // Benji had made plenty notice that Steph's parents weren't here so he walked out to have a dance with Steph. "Mind if I cut in?" He asked her offering a hand to her.// "Hey you know the said could be said about you too." Tae said to Noah with a nudge of her arm and a smirk." // "Oh... well that's unfortunate. Who said it had to be one from now a days? Don't you have like an old sappy song that is a favorite or something?"
Alexithymiaa: "Are you sure? I've seen pictures of what looked like daughters...." She said, giving him the quick jab. Turng to Rochelle, she wrapped her arms around her to return the hug. "To be fair, I can't believe he decided to marry MY pain in the butt. We're equal parts pain." She said with a laugh, stepping away to let the two have their dance. Smiling at Benji, she dropped her hand into his, stepping in to put her hand on his shoulder. "Of course." // "I'm fun though. I'm like the one you tolerate because I get up to all the entertaining shit. They spend a lot of time at home doing nothing. Trust me, I stayed with them when I first came out here to look at the campus. Their idea of fun is watching the cats do dumb shit." // "I just don't like slow sappy songs in general. I know theres a few I like, but I just can't think of them right now. Probably something my parents played around the house or something. I do like Frank Sinatra though. He's got to have something appropriate."-
Covet: "Hey! Not here." Felix said then laughed as he went about dancing with his mom. // Benji smiled at Steph, "Congratulations, blushing bride." He said to her sweetly. // "I mean, you're alright, I guess." She said to him with a smirk, "What's wrong with cats? We stay home a lot and just get high and bake.... that's not far from watching cats do funny things." // "Oh definitely, I like the idea of something classic like that." She told him. "If not something originally done by him then a good cover." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "Thank you. I'm really glad we could have you hear with us to celebrate. And I appreciate you sort of... stepping in to dance with me." She told him with a smile. "And Bryan. Speaking of, I'm thankful he's not giving a speech tonight." // "I don't like cats. They're assholes. Everyone knows dogs are better than cats. Cat people are weird." He spoke candidly, brushing off a comment that hurts my soul. "That's not the same and you know it." // I think the only person who really does his music justice is Michael Buble, but even then I still prefer Sinatra. He just has that timeless perfect crooner's voice that goes so unrivaled."-
Covet: "Of course, I'm actually over the moon that I could be here with you guys. And happy to step up and dance with you, I wouldn't leave you hanging with nobody to dance with during one of the important dances. Your brother that bad?" Benji said, it was at that moment that Felix barged in, "Hey, is it time for cake yet? I'm pretty much dying without cake in my system." He said to her, pulling on her arm. // "That's probably why I love them then. But I like dogs, and weird people too." Tae said with a shrug. "Your loss for not liking them." // "I mean, Buble has some good pipes and songs too, But the only crooner that I think could really stand up to that would be Brendon." Kelsey said with a dreamy sigh.
Alexithymiaa: "He's... not bad. He just doesn't have an ounce of tact. Which I guess is fair because neither do I, but I've gotten the hang of keeping my mouth shut. Sometimes..." She turned to look at Felix when he came barging over, giving him a smile. "Yes. Which also means it's time for maid of honor and best man speeches. Dean probably already has a million pictures of the cake." // "Doesn't really feel like my loss." He retorted quickly, looking around and then reaching over to pull a crab cake off the tray in the middle of the table to pop into his mouth. // "Yeah, but Brendon is too high. I like his music and his voice a lot, but it's not the same style at all. I still think Sinatra is the way to go. Classic and all."-
Covet: "Ah, well that's family for you." Benji said. "I'll go hunt down Seb and Cadence for you guys." He said as he walked away to go find the two speakers. // Felix started to walk off over towards the cake, because he had goals, holding Steph's hand. // Tae nudged Noah to hand her a crab cake as well."Can you hand me one of those?" // "He's not high like that all the time though, he can do low." Kelsey said defending him. "But you're totally right, Classic is the way to go."
Alexithymiaa: "Would you slow down? The heels on these shoes are so thin." She said as she walked behind him, keeping her hand in his until they reached the cake. "You know you're supposed to wait until the speeches to cut it, right?" // He reached over again, grabbing a crab cake for her and another for himself to pop in his mouth. "I really just want cake. I've been eyeing it since we got here." // He's not Sinatra." He told her with a look, perking up when he saw the two walking to the cake. "That looks good. I don't think it's sugar free though. No one does sugar free. Because sugar free sucks..."-
Covet: "Wait... What? Why do we have to wait? Why can't we eat it while they talk?" He asked with a pout, putting her hand down. // Cadence came out of the bridal sweet, both Trick and Rhythm conked out for the night. She saw Benji coming up to her and smiled "Hey there, I take it I'm needed for my speech? Maybe we could get a dance in later..." She said with a wink at him. // Seb made his way up to the happy couple with a drink in his hand, then nodded, "I guess this means I can't steal you away now that it's all official and everything?" He said to Steph, regardless of the pouty glare from Felix. // "I think they're about to cut it, they're walking up there now." She said to him munching on the crab cake.// "Probably not, but it is a special occasion, so I think you're more than okay to have a slice hun." Kelsey said to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Because it's rude. You can wait a few minutes. You'll live." She turned to look at Seb, giving him a warm smile. "What are you talking about? For all I know, I married you up there. You're clearly interchangable." // "It looks so good. Would they hurry up?" Noah asked in frustration, shifting around on his seat. // "Maybe we can share?" Brad asked her, trying to be careful, but also he just really wanted some cake.-
Covet: Seb chuckled, "This is true, but I'll respect my brother, today at the very least. So, shall I get these speaches on the road?" He asked then picked up a glass to clink a knife against it. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to celebrate this knuckle head and his beautiful bride's celebration. So, I've known this guy, since the womb. Kicked him in the head even, he started it. Course I'm not really sure how he managed to nail one of the hottest redhead's I've ever seen, and it is a shame that I don't stand a chance now. But at the same time, I'm very happy for the couple. If you happen to have a twin sister, Let me know, Cause I'd definitely take her hand, since I can't have yours." He said finishing up his speech, then let Cadence take the stage. // Cadence stood up and gave a soft smile, happy for her friend as she squishes down her own bitter sorrow from her failed relationship. "Hi everyone, I'd like to say thank you as well. Steph, You've been my friend for practically forever, We've been through thick and thin, and I'm going to try my best not to cry, or make you cry, but I'm so happy that you've made it to this point. Felix you've made her happier than I've ever seen her, and if you break her heart I will light your ass on fire so fast. With all that said, I hope that you get to have a wonderful life together, you deserve that much." She said with a smile then held her glass up for the toast.
Alexithymiaa: -She stood next to Felix as she listened to Seb's speech, unable to resist pointing to Bryan in the corner when he mentioned having a twin sister. When it came time for Cadence speech, she sniffled a bit, walking over to wrap her arms around her and give her a tight hug. "Thank you. For everything." Giving Cadence a little pat, she turned and walked back to Felix, leaning up to kiss him because that's supposed to happen after the speeches. "Now you can cut the cake."-
Covet: "Score! Thanks for the speech Cadence." He said "And I guess yours too Seb." He said with a shrug then went about cutting the cake so that they could do the polite think of sharing it without making a mess, at least for Steph because he wasn't about to get cake all over her three grand dress, then went about enjoying the rest of the wedding celebrations as newly weds.
