- Mistria horizon is a free japanese srpg game in the vein of Fire Emblem and you can download it here: http://www.freem.ne.jp/dl/win/13538 (big blue link saying mistria horizon below size). Please keep in mind that this guide was made based on version 0.85 up to chapter 24 and on the full version for the rest so it might not be 100% accurate. And as always I don't own anything but the guide.
- Basic Tips
- For menus check my silvania guide.
- Attack speed = speed - (weapon weight-strength). You need 4 more speed to double.
- Max level 20 for unpromoted units and 30 for promoted. Promoting won't reset levels. You can promote at 15
- The lone stat at the bottom is weapon proficiency and levels up along with the other stats. Max level varies.
- No perma-death unless it's a fail condition in which case it's a game over. For every unit that dies though you lose 100 bonus points.
- Supports are either built-in or event based. Some work one way only. Two squares range. You can see the bonuses in the status screens.
- Chapters usually have Bonus Missions which reward you with bonus points. BP can be used from the preparations screen to buy stat raisers as well as use strategic actions. The latter will usually cost 50 BP.
- The strategic actions can be taken usually once per chapter by picking SA with x unit while standing on the yellow square.
- Every unit has a personal skill (the option below attack) that can be used once per map but it's a gain something-lose something deal so be careful. I'll try to make a list at some point.
- Elefius is kinda shit but don't neglect him too much. Same goes for Az.
- I don't know the exact formula but Bart's level at the end of ch10 affects Alf and Mina's level when they rejoin (e.g I had Bart at 16 and when I got Alf and Mina back they were 4-5 levels higher than the last time I saw them)
- PROMOTION SKILLS
- Bandit and Pirate promotes to Berserker and becomes able to cross mountains/rivers/sea
- Archer promotes to Sniper and gains permanent +10 hit
- Bow knight promotes to Mamrook and gains swords and armsthrift
- Social knight promotes to Paladin and gets lvl% chance to act again once they've finished their action
- Dragon knight promotes to Dragon master, gains lances and loses bow weakness but becomes weak to lightning
- Grifon knight promotes to Grifon master, gains swords and (RESx2)% chance to silence the enemy
- Swordfighter promotes to Swordmaster and gains permanent +10 critical
- Mage promotes to Spellmaster, gains staves and mag% chance of lowering the enemy's luck by 10
- Sister promotes to Cleric, gains tomes and miracle (%luck chance to avoid lethal attack)
- Armor knight promotes to general and gets a skill that gives adjacent units +3def
- I gave up on the thief but I assume he promotes to assassin and gets permanent +15 avoid
- Az and Elefius have exclusive automatic plot related promotions.
- Don't forget that promoted enemies have the same skills too.
- RING SKILLS
- CH3: The ring that's in the chest grants vantage to whomever holds it (activates when hp is below 50%)
- CH4: The name of Emily's ring is pursuit but it seems to actually grant adept (skill based activation)
- CH6: Aur's ring grants wrath (perform a critical attack when hp is below 50%)
- CH7: The ring the thief drops grants renewal (20% of max HP every turn)
- CH13: This ring lets you attack twice as long as you have 2 more speed than the enemy

- Bonus Mission: Defeat Fizak before Saitak
- SA: Anyone can block the entrance to the middle room
- Other: The shield that's in the right chest can only be used by Elefius, Artelisia or Amelda and grants 5 res
- Goal pt2: Defeat demon Bart (you have to make Az talk to him and then kill him with the sword he gives her.)
- Fail pt2: Az or Elefius die
- CHAPTER 11
- Goal: Defeat the boss
- Fail: Artelisia dies
- Bonus Mission: Clear in 15 turns or less
- SA: Alf can make a fool out of the boss nad he'll start moving
- Built-in support: Artelisia <-> Lily
- Other: The purple knives have poison (100% hit) and the grey staff Mina has is a restore.
- CHAPTER 12
- War is over but that obviously can't be the end so 3 months later a new war is brewing. First we have a coup d'etat by Zeul in Hirein and since they helped Galia before, Elefius is going to return the favour. As for Grace he survived that hit but he can't fight anymore so he became your tactician and appointed Ryan as his successor.
- Goal: Rout the enemy
- Fail: Elefius dies
- Bonus Mission: Ryan fights the boss
- SA: Ryan can call reinforcements
- Other: You get your first promotion items. The assassin in the background will steal the 2 cursed magic books but you can't do anything so ignore it for now.
- CHAPTER 12 GAIDEN

- Goal: Seize with Elefius
- Fail: Elefius or Artelisia die
- Bonus Mission: Free the prisoners
- SA: If you can't deal with reinforcements Rose can lock the door again from the inside
- Built-in supports: Az <-> Alf, Az <-> Mina
- Event support (have the gys talk to the girls): Matilda -> Melfin, Rose -> Jino
- Other: From now on be careful of sword/axe/lance reavers as well as killer weapons
- The boss has 2 skills, the first allows him to negate all damage (defense% activation) and the second grants +3 def to adjacent allies. He won't attack Artelisia.
- CHAPTER 14
- New Units

- Kei - Kai's little sister, Swordfighter
- (visit the house on the island with Emily)
- Milford - Emily's siscon onii-chan, Sniper
- Goal: Seize with Elefius
- Fail: Elefius dies
- SA: Elefius can call the dragon that lives in the cave north
- Bonus Mission: Defeat the dragon (his attack ignores defence and he's weak to thunder)
- Built-in support: Kei <-> Kai, Emily <-> Milford
- Other: If a unit ends their turn on the cave you can get a speed boosting herb
- CHAPTER 15
- After some backstory on the continent and the creation of the 2 books it's time to deal with the ringleader, Draster empire. Dargas convinces the emperor to halt the attack and now all three countries' representatives will meet in a neutral place and the fastest way to get there is by ship. In other words there be pirates. Also krakens. And possibly lesbians.
- Goal: 8 turns pass
- Fail: Az or Elefius die
- Bonus Mission: Defeat the pirate captain
- SA: Az can jump on the pirate ship
- CHAPTER 16
- New Units
- Leticia - Pirate
- Iris - Dancer
- Goal: Rout the enemy
- Fail: Az, Leticia or Iris die
- Bonus Mission: Clear in 7 turns or less
- SA: Leticia can make the monster squid land i.e lose avoid bonus
- CHAPTER 17
- You'll get the option to take Ryan with you to the meeting or just go alone with Artelisia. For more money don't take him (second option). Then the debate will start. The more convincing you are the more Draster will compensate you in the end (min5k - max20k)
- Best answers: second, first, first, first option.
- In the end blondie will kill Dargas and pin it on Galia and Hirein so Draster's emperor Mitoras can properly declare war on them.
- CHAPTER 18
- Goal: 10 turns pass
- Fail: Elefius dies
- Bonus Mission: Keep at least 2 of those green idiots alive
- SA: Elefius can encourage his army and they'll regain HP
- Other: Berserker boss has PoR Luna but with strength based activation. Dragon boss has fe4 nihil.
- CHAPTER 19
- As part of Grace's special training Elefius will only use axes and lance on this map
- Goal: Elefius talks to Jace (green armor knight)
- Fail: Elefius dies. Once the bandit leader appears it becomes Elefius or Jace die.
- Bonus Mission: Elefius fights 10+ enemies
- SA: Herze can get in the castle and loot the chests
- Event support: Artelisia -> Elefius
- Other: The shop has sword/axe/lance reavers and killer weapons. One village gives you a warp staff and the other a scroll that teaches anyone Sure Strike. Chance of activating is (skillx2)%
- CHAPTER 19 GAIDEN
- 1. There's two shops in the preparations screen. Buy/sell accordingly. The weapons are steel and silver.
- 2. Ryan will hold a training event. In exchange for BP (100 per level) every unit that's below lvl 15 will automatically level up to 15 so you can promote them. I don't think it's worth it but if you want it it's the second item in intel gathering (1st option=yes 2nd=no)
- Now that prep is over remember how Bart hit Grace with the evil book, "demons spell"? Well turns out Grace has been literally fighting his inner demons all this time and he's finally at his limit. So before he gets fully possessed he asks Elefius to kill him. That way he can prove he's become stronger and Grace can rest happily.
- Goal: Defeat Grace
- Fail: Elefius dies
- CHAPTER 20
- Let's rewind a bit and see what happened to our other MC. Leticia wanted to make Az a pirate but she convinced them to get to the mainland and was informed about the war. She obviously can't get through that map alone so Leticia and Iris decided to help her. When you get closer to the tower an ally, Laila will also appear and heal you if you are inside her range.

- (They will appear on turn 11. If Az is nearby on the next turn they'll recruit themselves automatically.)
- Rodis - Griffon master
- Komo - Dragon master
- Goal: Defeat the boss
- Fail: Az dies
- Bonus Mission: Visit all the houses
- SA: Iris will dance for the enemies so they start moving
- Other: The village guy gives you a temptation orb for Iris. The description says it reduces the concentration of whomever's she dances for but I haven't really tested it.
- In the end Laila and Saitak will take you to Dargas. Apparently they saved him, he told them everything and now he's fighting the demons spell influence. They also explain how the empire orchestrated everything by first giving the demons spell to Fizak. Then they leave to destroy the cursed books while you wait for the minister to come so he can heal Dargas.
- CHAPTER 21
- Behold, the holy staff Mistria that can save demons spell's victims. Sucks we didn't have that earlier. And no you still can't have it. Instead you get a new tome for Az and she promotes to Saint. Her class skill grants allies in a 3 square radius +15 critical evade. And after the most uncomfortable ride ever it's time to fight.
- Goal: Everyone escapes
- Fail: Az or Dargas die. You'll also get a game over if the last remaining unit dies before escaping or if the last unit who escapes is carrying another one.
- Bonus Mission: Clear in 12 turns or less
- SA: Dargas can scream and the enemies will lose 5 strength for a turn
- Other: The scroll you can get from the village teaches Iron Wall (defence% chance of negating all damage)
- CHAPTER 22
- Elefius has finally promoted to king. His skill gives allies in a 3 square radius +2 atk, def, res and +5 crit. The shop in the prep screen sells ranged and magical weapons.
- Goal: Defend for 10 turns
- Fail: Elefius dies or the enemy steps on the yellow tiles
- Bonus Mission: Defeat Keriat (bottom right boss)
- SA: Artelisia, Amelda or Mina can recover everyone's health
- CHAPTER 23
- The cavalry is here. Dargas convinces San, Az reunites with everyone, Leticia invites Elefius to be a pirate, a fight breaks, he runs away. And while everyone is having fun Mitoras says the war will go on and convinces San to be a Camus.
- Special bonus mission: San will first propose a one on one duel so as to avoid more bloodshed. If you accept (first option) and win you'll get 2000 bonus points. If you lose you'll get a game over.
- If you decline you'll do the map normally i.e
- Goal: Defeat San
- Fail: Elefius dies
- Bonus Mission: Clear in 10 turns or less
- SA: Kei or Kai can wear armor that gives them +5 def and -2 spd
- San has Armsthrift (always active) and Hurricane (speed% chance of perform in 3 consecutive attacks)
- CHAPTER 24
- New Units
- Ash - Mamrook
- Inbal, Darga's adopted son - Assassin (appears on turn 6, recruit with Dargas)
- Goal: Defeat the boss Zail
- Fail: Elefius dies
- Bonus Mission: Elefius stays in his room until Inbaal appears
- SA: Anyone can activate a mechanism to put holes in front of two doors.
- Built-in support: Dargas <-> Inbal
- Other: The boss appears on turn 9 in Elefius' room and you have to kill him twice so plan accordingly. He has pass (the scroll he drops teaches that too), armsthrift (100%) and lethality (skill based). The shop sells killer and crystal weapons.
- CHAPTER 24 GAIDEN
- Let's catch both rabbits. One team led by Elefius will go to the volcano cave and retrieve the second demons spell and one team led by Az will go save Laila and the rebels so they can all fight the empire together.
- Event supports: Az <-> Leticia, Leticia <-> Iris
- Other: The shop in the prep screen sells silver, crystal and armor/horse killers.
- CHAPTER 25
- Artelisia and Dargas are forced on Elefius' team. Leticia and Iris are forced on Az's. Whoever else participates here won't participate next chapter and vice versa.
- Goal: Acquire the Demons Spell (Elefius opens the blue chest)
- Fail: Elefius dies
- Bonus Mission: Defeat all the dragons
- SA: Dargas can connect the bridge
- Once the first goal is achieved the boss and reinforcements from the bottom will appear. You have to make Elefius escape (stand on the arrows at the bottom) to clear the chapter.
- CHAPTER 26
- New Units
- Saitak - Sword Master (appears and joins automatically on turn 3)
- Layla - Spellmaster (green unit - joins automatically on turn 3)
- Golex - Berserker (appears from bottom left and joins automatically on turn 2)
- San will become playable from turn 4 but she will leave once the chapter ends.
- Goal: Laila walks out of the city
- Fail: Az or Laila die
- Bonus Mission: Keep Golex alive
- SA: Leticia can break the blue rocks
- Built-in support: Saitak <-> Layla
- Other: Houses give stuff/money except from bottom rightmost house which will spawn two enemies when you visit it. You might want to do it anyway though since one of them drops a staff that heals all allies (can only be used by clerics)
- CHAPTER 27
- Do your last minute shopping and use your bonus points/items. Don't forget to see the last convo to get San's sword.
- Then you have to pick who's going to use the demons spell. The three choices are Alf, Laila and no one.
- CHAPTER 28
