(17:38:14) Rajni stalked slowly into the arena, steps heavy. The big beast was aching. Burns covered her, from the small of her back to the backs of thighs, and she was peppered with small punctures along her left side; the remnants of injuries acquired during the hunt the previous day. Dressed only in a loincloth, with the wicked chain coiled around an arm and fist and swinging back and forth, she was a huge and primitive sight as she stood in the center of the arena. Bleary gaze turned, seeking her opponent.
(17:41:53) Miklos Stavrou strode in with blade in hand, much the same as Rajni had seen him during their bloody expedition against the draconic warlord. Draped in chain from head to foot, including coif that covered all but his eyes. Gaze wandered over the burned and blistered colossus, nodding in approval- "Ahh, I didn't think as small a thing as dragonfire would come between you and a good fight." Right foot swung back, left arm raised defensively and right bearing yatagan close in ready stance, expecting with her superior reach she'd likely make first strike.

(17:45:58) Rajni may not have known the voice very well, but she remembered his scent. Lips peeled briefly back from teeth, head rising, and soon the titanic woman was offering a sharp-toothed smile down at the armored warlock. "Big Rajni, small Rajni, hurt or good..." Broad shoulders shrugged. "Rajni fight." Pain and injuries happened, and the rex wasn't one to take a break unless ordered. A hand rose to brush through faded feathers, and the blazing eyes narrowed. Hulking frame dropped into a crouch, and fingertips flexed. Then she was suddenly bulling forward in a slow but inexorable charge, chain-wrapped fist striking for the shimmering headcover.

(17:53:23) Miklos Stavrou underestimated the massive woman's reach, and perhaps overestimated his own reflexes. Despite an attempt at rapid shuffle to his right, chain-wrapped fist crunched into his helmet's chinguard, warping the metal and spinning him into the wall. Though he reeled and his vision swam he rapidly pushed off and bolted for his opponent with blade cocked back to strike, thrusting for the space just under the ribs. Hit or miss, the boot of forward foot struck out in a vicious snap-kick aimed at the knee. [Double]

His kick landed solidly, but the beast didn't even seem to notice it; he may as well have tried to kick an oak and expect it to notice. She didn't miss a beat; a ruthlessly clawed hand sought to rip into his side, and given the chance, she'd yank him in close so another one of those brutal punches could strike at his head again. (18:05:23) Miklos Stavrou found himself dragged into the beast's embrace, a barked noise of surprise emitting from beneath the mail. Her claws found purchase on the chain, though not the flesh beneath- but it was quite enough to bring him within striking distance for another concussive headshot, his flexible armor's bane. Not quite as much of a bellringer this time, the angle just slightly off center, but he must have felt it with the way his head whipped back with the blow. Seeking to extricate himself, grip in the unhallowed blade reversed and its tip was sent plunging towards the offending him that had dragged him close, aiming to bury it between the paired longbones of the forearm.

(18:11:40) Rajni found the smaller fighter was frustratingly difficult to get to, with all that chain mail covering him. The battered, burned rex bellowed in pain as the blade sunk cleanly into her arm, and claws skittered off of the mail as she tore her arm away from him. The blade was becoming troublesome. Reddened eyes narrowed, and she shifted back fluidly before the chain's true potential was shown; it hissed through the air, seeking to whip itself around his wrist, and yank back with enough force to possibly break his arm...and hopefully disarm him. (18:19:49) Miklos Stavrou grimaced beneath his helmet as the heavy chain struck his wrist, wrapping and dragging him forward. His arm screamed, muscles straining and tearing with the sudden application of force as he stumbled forward. Thinking and acting quickly, right hand passes the weapon off to his left, where it hisses through the air in a lateral slice for the unprotected meat of Rajni's thick thighs. A clever maneuever that might have worked, had not the warlock been partly ambidextrous.

(18:22:27) Rajni's body twisted to the side, a startled grunt on her lips when the shining blade suddenly whipped close enough that it nearly snikked a few scales off her thigh. Her reaction was fierce and instant. A huge, taloned foot shot forward with the intention of striking him in the belly, hopefully aided by his stumble. The Rex put her weight into it, and those wicked claws gleamed promisingly.

(18:28:35) Miklos Stavrou was practically hurled across the arena by the the dead-on blow to his center mass by those immensley powerful legs. His back struck the wall, and he his the ground limply on his arse. Aching from nearly every part of himself, chest on fire with cracked ribs, he knew there was no way he could continue - the beastly woman had the better of him. Free hand was raised open palmed in the 'Yield'. It wasn't a total loss, though. He'd wondered what she was the moment her massive saurian form has lumbered its way out of the jungle, and perhaps the blood would give up a modicum of its secrets. Arena attendants hauled him to his feet, and he dipped his helmeted head with quiet respect before being half-dragged to aid.

(18:31:05) Rajni was no mindless berserker or beast; if anything, her behaviour in the cave would have shown it. Her restraint once he yielded was instant. The beast draped her chain across heavy shoulders, glancing at the injured arm with a little huff of breath, then back towards the departing fighter. Her head nodded. "Good fight." Teeth flashed in a grin, then she strode purposefully towards the infirmary to get herself patched up as well, pleased with the outcome; every fight had her growing less and less injured.
