- 1. [draw phase]: draw 1 card from the draw deck (the first player in order does not do this on their first turn).
- 2. [untap phase]: untap all tapped cards.
- 3. [world map phase]: flip over the top card of your course deck and put in the [world map] area.
- 4. [main phase]: do any of the following in any order you want as many times as you want ↓
- - <enter> a [partner] by tapping enough courses (or other cards that provide stars) to pay its <star> cost, then attach it to a course, yours _or_ another player's (it does not matter if the course is tapped).
- - <exit> a partner by tapping it, then discarding it and any other cards attached to it.
- - <move> a partner by tapping it, then attaching it and any other cards attached to it to a different course.
- - <play> a [supporter] or [item] from your hand by paying its <star> cost. supporters go in the [home] area. items resolve immediately, then are discarded.
- - <clear> a course by tapping 1 untapped partner at an untapped course. _you cannot do this if other players have untapped partners at that course_. when you clear a course, you gain points equal to that partner's [point value] and that course is now tapped.
- - <battle> by declaring a battle at a course where both you and any other players have untapped partners (more on battling below).
- 5. [end phase]: end your turn when you have nothing else you'd like to do.
- battling
- 1. tap 1 untapped partner. this is the [attacker].
- 2. choose another player's partner. this is the [defender].
- 3. the attacker deals damage equal to its [power] to the defender.
- 4. if the defender is dealt damage greater than or equal to its power, it's defeated and discarded along with any cards attached to it.
