  1. == Games That Lydelle Kinda likes and are cool ==
  2. 1. Gender Bender DNA Twiser Extreme (obligatory, must be #1)
  3.
  4. - Outlast ($4) - insanely cheap, the game and very good dlc is < 5$ for both, roughly 10-15 + 5 hours of gameplay
  5. - Outlast 2 ($23.99) - better premise than 1 but way more expensive and the game ending is bad (probably will have ending dlc)
  6. - Condemned: Criminal Origins ($5) - pretty good first person horror, Condemned 2 is better but is console exclusive, pulls a lot from Silence of the Lambs and psyhorror
  7. - The Void ($2) - I've never played it personally, it's wierd looking, looks cool and is cheap
  8. - Darkest Dungeon ($10) - Rarely this cheap, it is a great game for RNG and immersion
  9. - Wasteland 2 (10$) - AMAZING this game will last forever. If you liked fallout 1 or 2 this is quite similar in feel and playstyle
  10. - Salt and Sanctuary ($11) - People call it "darksouls but 2d" I don't know much about it but it looks gritty and cool
  11. - Enter the Gungeon ($8) - Good rng shooter, lots of permutations, lots of just stuff and a lot to do
  12. - Hollow Knight ($10) - Very fun game, kinda like shouvel knight, but not really. If you like 2d platformers, this may be the best one this year
  13. - NeiR Automata ($42) - it is normaly $60 and people like it, I've never touched it tbh
  14. - Ori and the Blind Forest ($10) - half off perhaps the best platformer-y game of last last year
  15. - Life is Strange (FREE) - play it just to get sam to shoot herself in the knee and then blame the gun for hurting her
  16. - Penumbra Overture & Black Plague ($1.5 each) - the quintessential pc horror game and the precursor to the Amnesia series. It's goofy it's wonky IT HAD PHYSICS IN 2006.
  17. - Amnesia: The Dark Descent ($3) - The gold standard for rpg horror games. The base game is ~9 hours but there has been so much fan-made content the game will last forever
  18. - Amnesia: A machine for pigs ($3) - keeps the amazing atmosphere from the first game, removes a lot of what made the original good. Tries to insert politics and philosophy into the series and it ends up becoming more of a preach-fest than a horror games. Worth $3, but not like the first game
  19. - SOMA ($9) - The third franchise game by frictional games penumbra > amnesia > soma. They didn't really learn from A machine for pigs. There is a lot of preachy philosophy elements that get laid on thick. Not a bad game, but continued to divert from what made the devs well known. If you like scifi and the implication of human-machine relations, then this will be something you enjoy.
  20. - Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed ($5) - The closest thing to Mario Cart on the PC
  21. - Psychonauts (1$) - BUY THIS GAME
  22. - Devil Daggers ($3) - a fun game based around a single concept, shoot bones, it is very repetitive, but has a nice art style and will probably keep you entertained for ~3 hours or more depending on how much you enjoy it
  23. - Battlefield Bad Company 2 ($5) - the only fps came that I have ever liked
  24. - Grow Home ($4) - reminds me a lot of early era ps1 games. It's fun, but limited in what you can do
  25. - Humongous Entertainment Complete Pack ($50) - THE MOST WORTH IT THING YOU CAN BUY IN THE SUMMER SALE
  26. - Subnautica ($10) - still in development. Enjoy a fun world underwater managing resources and watch out for elderich horrors that lurk under the waves
  27. - Axiom Verge ($10) - this game is rarely ever on sale. It is a good 2d metroidvania style game
  28. - Freedom Planet ($8) everything in this game is too sexy
  29. - Sunless Sea ($6) - FTL but you're a boat and you can go insane
  30. - Disgaea PC ($8) - A classic and long game super worth the money
  31. - Final Fantasy 3 ($8) - classical jrpg, my personal favorite final fantasy game
