i just had someone who got the true ending do a testrun of the game and they said they had all three files
i guess open skeleboom and select hard mode and then play the first level
once you get to the checkpoint, go back to where you were in appdata and refresh

No, after i quit, i hit the load option and it automatically went to hard mode. I guess this was a sign that my data got erased and then hit new game for normal. T-T
Sorry for the confusion
Welp, looks like i gotta do it over again.
I guess next time you guys should add the game making a hardmode save even if the first level wasn't done.
