  1. Goru 's essence is rising far beyond its natural limits, even for a Primal Lycanus.
  2.
  3. It is out of control - a problem he has suffered with his entire life. But now in the heat of battle against Tyrsienne R. Filordia Goru has pushed his illness. He has fast forwarded his inner clock that spelled his doom.
  4.
  5. He figured he had a few months, maybe. His condition worsened every day, it was a struggle to appear strong. But he had to. He was Vetur's Chieftain, it was his duty.
  6.
  7. Throughout most of his life duty was what drove Goru. He never considered himself to be much of a savior, and people that knew him could attest to this. While kind and righteous, the dinosaur did not have an inviting presence to him. He was left cold and standoffish by his harsh past, but remained the good person he always was through his rough exterior.
  8.
  9. He was no Hero.
  10.
  11. All he was was a Lycanus with blessed blood who, perhaps by way of fate was put in situations that allowed him to bring great change to the world. It was only his sense of duty, his inner compass, his morals, that made him seem Heroic.
  12.
  13. But unlike the hero of the story, Goru does not go through a change during the course of this battle. He remains who he is and always has been. He remains a warrior who wants to do what he thinks is right.
  14.
  15. And now? He wants to kill Tyrsienne R. Filordia.
  16.
  17. He would avenge Inangu by defeating his killer. By doing what he could not.
  18.
  19. Why? Because in truth? That fish was Goru's best friend. While their past was full of troubles, and the two never shared a moment of kindness, he knew it to be true. And so did I.A. The two of them were friends.
  20.
  21. They may not have started out as such, in fact they surely hated one another. They were polar opposites.
  22.
  23. Red and Blue.
  24. Dinosaur and fish.
  25. Strong and durable.
  26. Goru and I.A.
  27.
  28. But through the course of their lives, while seperate, they had gained a mutual respect for one another. It was a shame that Goru would not be able to see his friend again, to show him the power he has attained at great cost...
  29.
  30. But at the very least he would avenge him. Even if he had to die while doing it, he would kill Tyrsienne R. Filordia.
  31.
  32. Her attacks come to Goru, and perhaps to her surprise? The first attack does not shred through him as easily as she may have thought.
  33.
  34. Why? The Tessaiga.
  35.
  36. The legendary blade of the Lycanus built to stand against oppression would be key to this battle, just as Gram was key to Tyrsienne's survival just moments prior.
  37.
  38. It absorbs part of her energy, weakening what was to come against Goru's natural defences. And it is with this weakened, but still deadly attack that Goru comes forward - it was all or nothing.
  39.
  40. His massive jaws come down upon the vampire and they chomp down with bone shattering force. Should this succeed?
  41.
  42. Tyrsienne R. Floridia would be eaten by Goru.
  43.
  44. ... But in that same act Tyrsienne R. Filoridia would have taken Goru's life with her immense power. It was strong, strong enough to contend with a Primal Lycanus of the highest calibur.
  45.
  46. Heroism would not continue on this day, for it never existed here. He was no Hero.
  47.
  48. This went beyond a Villain and a Hero.
  49.
  50. This was Tyrsienne and Goru.
  51.
  52. Two warriors with drastically different paths that ended up here in Vetur on this very day crossing swords.
  53.
  54. This was the end for one, or both of these warriors.
