  1. Comparing the Lenovo 16IRX9 and Asus Ally X:
  2.
  3. "*COMPARING asus ally vs lenovo, lenovo has like a sharp mechanical and firing sound and then the low bass/echo but no "crack", wheras the ally has a bit less echo/it not being as dominant, but more of a thump WITH the echo and sharp sound, wheras [The T22B350ND's speakers, with the lenovo] has the krack and bark and a bit of the echo, but drowny, without the sharpness of the asus, tho the two are somewhat similar, asus much nicer...[pebble speakers, with the Gigabyte] is more extreme then lenovo, has low bass/echo and thump, but almost no crack wheras in comparison lenovo has a decent amount even if not as much as asus*
  4.
  5. And more detailed notes of how the Asus Ally X compares to the Nitro v16:
  6.
  7. "*Compared to asus, the AR (on the Nitro) sounds less complex on the acer: the echo is more pronounced when firing: There is a "crack" on the nitro, but a sharper follow through is absent on it, which just has an echo after initial firing crack, wheras on asus it remains sharp for a while. The Asus also has a more defined "aftersound" echo when firing sound stops but shot rings through environment: nitro has it, but it's not as crisp. The Ravager sounds close on both, there is just a bit more of a liquid "warble" on the ally... compared to gas station earbuds: AR sounds similar but much more crisp with earbuds, a bit more of crack and sharper sounds but I think? (need to compare) lacks some of the fidelity and nuances of crack follow through on ally. Interestingly ravager lacks warble with earbuds it does have on nitro*"
  8.
  9. The Edifier vs Pebble and old monitor:
  10.
  11. "*The Edifier and pebble sound very similar with AR, but pebble AR crack/sharp sound at start just has a bit more nuance and aftersound then on Edifier's default settings, which has a bit more of a thump. Pretty close tho... but the ravager is VERY different, pebble just has a sharper pulse, edifier has a rumble and more nuances there by a huge amount, again, with default settings... ravager on edifier vs 2$ earbuds has earbuds with more nuanced sharper sounds for sure, but almost too loud, edifier lacks a lot of that but the added lower sounds and echo is nice... With treble maxed on edifier, AR has slightly more mechanical sound to crack, less of a thump, but it's subtle... big enough of a difference to make edifier with max treble better, sharper, etc. Upping treble also seems mostly like an improvement to ravager, brings out some sharper sounds...maxxing both treble and bass dials seems to be straight upgrade for AR... even so, still notably inferior to 2$ earbuds, the crack is way less pronounced with edifier, other nuances are lost, echo of shot ring is less clear, etc... vs old monitor, the Edifier has the ravager impact and mechanical sounds less clear, eidfier has better bass and rumble but it's a bit much and other sounds drowned out a bit. also, in general, I think both edifier and pebble and nitro and earbuds have a painfully sharp hiss that old monitor doesn't?...with AR, even with max treble etc, edifier has less of a mechanical follow-through after the firing crack, even the echo/rumble of shot ringing isn't really better (tho not much worse) vs old monitor. The "thump" is still quite overpowering*"
  12.
  13. And the old monitor vs the earbuds (plugged into the Nitro v16):
  14.
  15. "*AR sounds good on both, the earbuds just have slightly less of a initial crack, I guess, with more of lower tons/echo/thump there, but otherwise all the immediate follow-up sharp tones come through fine, maybe even better, same for the mechanical sounds, as is the other echo, shot ringing, etc being more noticeable and more crisp. With ravager, again, both sound good, but the earbuds just have certain things being too loud and sharp: some of the impact, a hiss, etc, so it sounds uneven and like it's peaking. monitor seems more even though certain stuff like the warble and rumble after impact isn't as noticeable*"
  16.
  17. Ally X vs old monitor:
  18.
  19. "*sounds kinda similar, ally sounds crisper, but less prominent shot ring/echo/rumble afterwards, less intense/sharp hiss (good), more warble/liquid, but less impact sound. Both sound good. AR sounds very similar, ally is, again, just more crisp, and just a bit of some part of the crack or mechanical sounds when initially firing then monitor, also less noticeable shot ring/echo after firing ends, but just by a bit. Both are good.... frag grenade sounds VERY similar, monitor is just a bit better with more particle-y and sharper sounds audible...plasma nade sounds very similar on both, which I prefer changes almost every time I test...BR sounds very close on both, ally just has a moderately more of a crack initial firing sound the monitor doesn't*"
