================= SECTION 0 =================
Get the game and install it.

> The best way to find the game: search google for the Fully Updated HoneySelect + All DLC & Extra Content [BACKUP] - Version 1.20


> After the game has been successfully installed and tested, apply the 0630 DLC patch (Latest Patch).

		> Download (Pre-Extracted 630 Patch) https://mega.nz/#!GRcEEKzY!a32EwjkXQqdq4BhzzWuS_7tPzW-2JANb0oxcF_8Gp2o

			1: Once downloaded, find and open the directory.
			2: Inside you will see many data folders and exe's similar to the ones found in your HoneySelect folder.
			3: Drag and Drop everything inside of it into your HoneySelect folder.
			4: Overwrite when asked. This will update your game to the latest version.
				> You may make a backup of your Honey Select folder at this point just incase.

================= SECTION 1 =================

Step 1 - Installation

	1: Download my Plugin Starter Pack: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wuk_oaWN8F-Bv1MuxVzmLqOTtH0-RTKO?usp=sharing
		> Drag and drop everything into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Overwrite if asked.
	2: Download SBX2_Uncensor_v2.5e : http://www.mediafire.com/file/0ymcbgap0zjbkz8/SBX2.5_-_Uncensor_v2.5e.rar/file
		> Drag and drop the abdata folder into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Overwrite if asked.
	3: Download Male_Uncensor_From_PlayClub_v4.1 : https://www.mediafire.com/file/7z1nitm336gdomu/HS_Male_Uncensor_From_PlayClub_v4.1.rar/file
		> Drag and drop the abdata folder into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Overwrite if asked.
	4: Download and install WideSlider exe's: https://mega.nz/file/sYwz2QDL#Dq_ubHVMx31YJoWIv1Z6yXEZPGpbFFHT7V4cYugw96Y
		> Drag and drop the EXE's and folders into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Choose between the _32 and _64 EXE's and folders depending on your system.
	5: Download English Translations (UI Translations AIO) if needed from: http://www.mediafire.com/file/319tgajv3agfhxg/UI_Translation_AIO_01-05-20.zip/file
		> Drag and drop everything into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Overwrite if asked.


Step 2 - Enable Modding

> Download HSResolveMoreSlotID v1.5 from the link below.

	> Drop the files into your HoneySelect folder.

Open up HSResolveMoreSlotID.exe
		1: Go to the Installation Checker tab.
		2: Click Patch IPA
		3: Click Patch Wideslider.
		4: Click Disable RegEX (This speeds up category loading)
		5: Ignore everything else!

	After following those steps:
		Run the newly created exe's, with (Patch & Launch) in their names, generated by IPA.
			> You can use these to launch both the Main Game and Studio Neo from now on, instead of the regular exe's.


Step 3 - Checking Status

	> Open up HSResolveMoreSlotID.exe
	> Go to the Installation Checker tab


	Warning: DO NOT INSTALL 4K OR LRE USING THE INSTALLATION CHECKER TAB


	> HSResolveMoreSlotIDPlugin should be green.
	> Neo Basic Sphere will turn green later. Ignore for now.
	> 0630 should be green.
	> Translation and RegEX should be green if you opted for it.
	> IPA should be green.
	> WideSliders should be green after patching.

================= SECTION 2 =================
Installing Mods

	You can find most of the mods in the [Mods & Add-on] section of the pastebin linked above.
		Ignore everything else beyond that unless you know what you need.

		> I highly recommend installing mods in small batches. Installing all mods at once will cause issues.

	Most mods can be installed by simply dragging and dropping everything into your HoneySelect folder.
		> Abdata stuff goes into the Abdata folder.
		> Plugins stuff goes into the Plugins folder.
		> UserData stuff goes into the UserData folder.


	After installing a small batch of mods:

		> Open HSResolveMoreSlotID and resolve any ID conflicts found in the Character tab or Neo Items tab.
		> AVOID clicking the Auto Resolve Everything button as it may cause issues. It is preferred to resolve conflicts one by one.
		> Once you resolved any conflicts, click the Save Changes button found at the bottom right.
		> Repeat these steps until you have installed all the mods you would like.


	Whenever you install a new Studio Neo item mod:

		> Open HSResolveMoreSlotID and resolve any ID conflicts found in the Neo Items tab, then press the Save Changes button.
			The item should now be able to be spawned in Studio Neo without any issues.


	If a Character Card or Scene File is missing mods such as clothing, hair, items, or anything else:

		> Open HSResolveMoreSlotID and check the Chara Cards tab or Scene Cards tab. Missing mods will be written in Red.

================= SECTION 3 =================
Graphical Mods

Warning:
	> I highly recommend doing your own research and asking for guidance in the #hs-help channel on discord regarding graphics.
	> Once you install LRE/IBL you cannot revert your game back to normal and will need to reinstall the game from scratch.
	> LRE will alter the way your game looks and will need color adjustments to both your characters and settings to look good.
	> I recommend installing LRE/IBL only if you are interested in making graphically intense Studio Neo works.


	If you have still decided to install LRE/IBL:

Step 1 - Obtain the Mod.
	0: Go to https://joan6694.bitbucket.io/
	1: Download AAIO from the HS Linear Rendering Experiment tab.
	2: Carefully follow the directions stated in the pdf that comes in the AAIO pack before dropping anything into your game.
		> The pdf will guide you through the LRE/IBL installation.
	After installing the pack, the game will look different. This is normal, you must adjust it using the IBL UI.
		> You can access the IBL UI feature by clicking F5.  If this does not work, you did something wrong during installation.


LRE Skins
Higher Quality skins with better color handling and details.

		When asked to overwrite, choose YES.

Missing Legacy 4K Skins
	1: Download 4K_Skin_Diffuse_Initial_Pack (All-In-One): http://www.mediafire.com/file/dlsu34ap2nzegb3/4K_-_Skin_Diffuse_Initial_Pack_%2528All-In-One%2529.rar/file
	2: in the .rar file, go to the [abdata] folder.
	3: Drag and drop the [list] and [plastic] folders into your HoneySelect>abdata folder.
		> If asked to overwrite, choose NO.
	This installs the 4K skins from 4K Diffuse without installing the entire graphics mod portion.
	If you installed the entire package, you might have to re-do the LRE installation process again.

Final Notes

After recommending other installation guides in the #hs-help channel, many newcomers complained about the complexity.
The other installation guides were either too long or had very little explanations.
They also covered multiple versions of the game, which I don't recommend getting.
Basically, it was just too intimidating for someone who was just starting out.
So, I decided to simplify things while adding my own recommendations and warnings in order to avoid major issues.
