- Where did I get my name?
- Tahgtahv is the D'ni word for gift. It comes from the root tahg which means give, and the suffix -tahv which turns a verb into a noun. (See http://www.eldalamberon.com/dni_dict.htm)
- Tahg is the short version of this name. It's the main nick I use for forums, chat clients, and pretty much anywhere else that doesn't need a real name.
- Vaht is the shortened version of tahgtahv backwards. See the dictionary page linked above as to why it's not vhat. In short, it's because Tahgtahv is 6 D'ni characters (t|ah|g|t|ah|v) transliterated into 8 Roman characters.
- Vaht is used as my main character/roleplaying name for any games where this is seperate from a username. It is also my minecraft name for similar reasons. Incidently, the account Tahg on minecraft is NOT owned by me and never has been. If you ever see a user logged in with this name claiming to be me, do not trust them any more than you'd trust any other user.
- Quite coincidently, Vaht is also the D'ni word for five. I have additional accounts Nayvoo and Heebor meaning ten and fifteen, and likely would continue the pattern, were I to need any more accounts.
