[16:50] Cracks slowly begin to form within the air, Occultism spilling onto the floor of the Dreadwoods as something seemed to be emerging. Spawning from pure darkness and shadow an Echo bled into reality.

The cracks soon grew larger and manifested more intensity as the being came into to form. Their guise clearly visible now. As the lingering effects of the occultism began to give it shape.

And from it emerged a Lesser demon, Still weak and frail it heard the call of its Demonkin and moved from the shadows of the Dreadwoods into its own consciousness finally progressing further than just a wild beast.

It glanced around idle attention being give towards the two humans standing here. Not another demon of its kind but humans?

It was disappointed, However it figured they perhaps had held enough power to dwell here. It held nothing, so it could not challenge those greater as it was.

But that would soon change.

[17:55] The demon watched as the two battled, Each pitting themselves to get stronger. Eugo also had some concept of his current strength, Not enough to be effective but enough to handle minor foes had it come across them.

The demon would have to begin training itself immersing itself in the deepest part of umbral magics. The rippled of shadows lingered around the creatures being.

It pulled the shadows into a claw, and began to rake forwards towards a nearby tree. Slashing into the bark aiming to leave a lasting mark. The tree was easily torn down with a few well placed slashes.

The demon impressed that it had already mustered this much strength after just being spawned, Yet every demon new more than well that they were the highest pique of occultism.

It would have to learn to manifest more magics in order to make its growth stronger.

[18:10] Occultic shadows bent at his will, Even able himself to slip into the distortions of shadows and move about freely, A power most demons and occultist were capable of it seemed.

But a useful power none the less. However there had to be more to learn, This power was merely an attachment of a Demons soul. Any demon who allowed for the umbral energies within them to take over could gain access.

Twisting shadows, Eugo now spun darkness into an orb, First one then multiple. A flurry of shadowy blasts that would level the trees in front of them.

"Shadows are easy to bend....Darkness is the power to conquer all...Now I must find something other to improve upon what I already have gained..."

A magic power that worked well with its own identity, It needed strength beyond that of an echo. The demon moved about spreading further corruption within the Dreadwoods,

As it came upon a boar it would quickly eviscerate its body, Slashing it in multiple times as he watched it fall to the ground in tatters barely breathing.

Eugo moving closer to the creature. Placing its claw on its still beating heart. Prepared to drain what time was left of their life. Draining it into its body and allowing for the corrupting magics to overwhelm them.

"Yes....closer....stealing what time left in this world...Is a power this one must conquer…"

[18:25] The boar was still suffering, Occultic curses slowly tearing away at its life force, As the demon continued to hold contact with the creature. Robbing it of its time slowly draining away any essence it could mustered.

However slowly as the creature began to die Ravias slowly grew bored. Such a fragile amount of essence wouldn't do. To improve its current power. Human magi were the only chance it could have at furthering its growth and protentional.

Yet the demon stayed within the Dreadwoods for a time, and continued to study its abilities until stronger ones began to manifest. Claws of shadow that could rip through foes.

Curses that could mute regeneration and steal life from his foes. The power to bleed into the shadows and erupt out with great force. And the sustenance of quickly retreating into the shadows to evade capture or attacks.

The demon slowly began building its arsenal of attacks, Improving upon each in order to become a stronger and better hunter and killer. Its instincts the only thing driving it forwards.

As such when it came back towards Luxa it glanced towards them. "Luxa… We must hunt...So we can grow....training must continue as well....To reach for further power...."

The demon spoke in an eeire echoed tone of voice, As if it stifled the sounds of other voices to make its words heard.

That name. The name of the accursed ones who brought Demons into Theria. Of the cowardly old man who was known not to ever fight a battle on his own, instead tricking the world into doing so for him.

If she came from that man, then it was certain that she was trouble. The mere thought of her- of what she would do in the future with that horrible cackle was already grinding into his brain.

He had to do something about it.

Demons approaching were more often than not a bad omen, but right now? They were perfect to get Artemis on his side, if even a bit more. Despite how much he had trouble actually conveying a message towards the girl, let alone look at her, Yuri seemed to have no issue shifting himself in-between the beast-like Artemis and the small Demon.

The Task's demands had been thrown out of the window for the sake of this play.

She laughs again, another bark that she quickly quells form becoming an embarrassing cackle yet again.

[18:44] Elister peers on over to Misha now. He sighed, then looked back on over at the scene at hand. A quiet mutter follows, and his face goes placid.

"Oh don't worry we wont hurt him. But we WILL hurt you. We heard you no friend of demons. So we kill." Luxa said letting his sinister shadow aura drip around him.

[18:44] Yuri was the demons target, Having been pointed out by Misha the creature paid little attention towards the Task behind them. "Care not for the beast. You are a rebel human? Enemies who kill my kin..."

Shadows bent and warped around the creature. Far weaker than any Kaor yet the boldness of the small demons were an equal match, To ravage and destroy was all they could know and their instincts lead them to attack those who would bring them or their kin harm.

The demons claws was aflared with occultism the grass around them turning a purplish grey as the demon drew closer to engage the rebel of Nysea. "Care little for your words, Fight."

The demon echoed, Its voice like a dry husk of words being emptied. The creature's gaze turned towards Luxa who would offer its claws as well. had they the desire they would fight along side one another to destroy their enemies.

Eugo began to sink into the shadows and swam towards Yuri popping out in the direction opposite of their gaze, Claws falling down to rake towards their face and slashing them clearly hostile

[18:51] It's amidst the howling, the cackling of Artemis that Yuri's body shifted to meet the Demon's claw. A shift in demeanor. A clear one at that. Within his left hand a weapon far too large for his short stature was held, grinding against the hand that came for him and being but insight to what would come next.

Green eyes found a flicker of blue within them before a burst of raw mana erupted from him, shrouding him. More than only that. His body was being used as a hub for spirits of his own past, spirits that he'd never met, magi long gone. Each and every single one of them allowed ethereal strands of their being to flow within the young knight's body, a bridge having been formed between himself and the spirit realm.

From every angle he seemed to be far more of a man than a coward.

"... Then let me explain with something you can understand."

His weapon came down, intend to cleave down the Demon.

[19:00] Swift. Swift and efficient. Yuri didn't miss a beat when it came to taking down the first beast that came for his throat. Blood and flesh would fall upon the battlefield, leaving him with the obvious upperhand. They were no match for this knight - for the people who were behind him, pushing him forward.

These beasts were far too eager to prove themselves, to hunt. Children. Babies. Good-for-nothing. It's with the timestream manipulated at his fingertips that the young knight reached out, unleashing a distortion towards Eugo in order to slow down its body, to slow it further, and further down, attempting to force it to come to a clean stop.

For nothing to remain.

Of course with Luxa coming at him he had to deal with that, too.

[19:05] The demons claws were deflected Grinding against the large blade held by the short man he was immediately thrown back by the eruption of Energy Magic exploding forth from the magi...So this was the power humans held?

The demon was privy to no fear of man kind However this awareness of their potential would be a great lesson learned. The timestream flowed around them their blade making the cuts all the more deeper

At times Eugo would completely stand still time rapidly decreasing around them. The control of the time flow was strong....stronger than the demon could imagine but with each strike being struck by the blade the demon allowed for the magics to sink deep within its flesh.

Learning from its pain, And manifesting more strength from each of the strikes. Time came to a stand still and with a final slash the demon was sent flying.

Angered and in pain the demon could only think to retreat. TO learn more about the mistakes it had made...during the battle. However attacking in the first place had granted it much more knowledge than before.

"Damn human rebel....Days soon to pass where you life will be mine...." The creature sunk into the shadows. Slithering away with what life it still held onto. Its last words echoed within the air.
