  1. >What?
  2. >Didn’t you pass out in your bed after that crap with Toccata and Fugue?
  3. >Why are you standing on the side of a building?
  4. >Furthermore, why is that building suspended off a wall that stretches down forever?
  5. >Where the fuck are y-
  6. >Oh
  7. >Oh shit
  8. >This is the last stretch of time before everything gets reset
  9. >Before it all goes to hell and everyone gets reborn as horse racers
  10. >You’re standing on the side of a storage building in Cape Canaveral
  11. >Which means that Gay Priest has already evolved his Stand once, which means that he’s about to go full Sanic in a way that the universe cannot handle
  12. >If you don’t find a way back to Equestria soon, you’re fucked
  13. >But if you’re remembering right, BoiPucci should be obtaining [Made In Heaven] right about-
  14. >”[MAIDO IN HEBUN]!”
  15. >The birth of a godless abomination floods the world with an unholy light as Enrico Pucci’s voice echoes throughout the Kennedy Space Center
  16. >Everything slowly begins to tilt backwards towards the ground, and you’re forced to scramble up the wall to avoid falling flat onto the pavement that is now beneath you
  17. >Well the good news is that you no longer have to worry about falling off the face of the planet
  18. >The bad news is that the universe is about to be reset
  19. >The other good news is that you know where Pucci is, so it’s about time you get over there
  20. >Only problem is, you’re way too fucking slow
  21. >…Could you launch yourself at a shallow angle with [Saturn’s Children] and then use it to catch yourself before going splat on the ground?
  22. >Worth a shot, but if you fuck up there’s no way you’re getting home before the reset
  23. >Better run some simple calculations, set the vector and who the fuck are you fooling, just pick an angle and a speed and LAUNCH
  24. >[Saturn’s Children] rockets you into the sky, narrowly avoiding clipping your chin on nearby roofs while you zip towards the end of the universe
  25. >You bring your Stand back down in front of you, reversing the direction of its rotation to reduce your flight speed, and just in time
  26. >As your feet make contact with the ground Gay Priest appears in front of you with his brand-new Stand, which in your opinion looks like someone took a gay bleached midget and slapped a horse’s head on his dick
  27. >”Glad to see you have come, Mr. Mous. I expect you’re here to witness the end of the world? The birth of a universe free of the Joestar clan? One where my lord Dio will rule above all others?”
  28. >”Not gonna happen! I’m here to rescue my dad!”
  29. >Jolyne Cujoh swings in out of nowhere and tries to plant her boots onto Pucci’s face
  30. >He dodges so quickly that the air he displaces knocks you both backwards, and he vanishes completely from sight
  31. >As you and Jolyne stand up and dust yourselves off, Gay Priest reappears with his hands gently wrapped around Jotaro Kujo’s neck
  32. >Two silver discs, one emblazoned with the word “MEMORY” and the other bearing Star Platinum’s image, are sticking out of Jotaro’s head
  33. >Jotaro isn’t moving
  34. >This is not how things are supposed to go
  35. >How’d he even know who you are?
  36. >”Now Jolyne, I’d be more than willing to part with your braindead father, but I need something from you in exchange. Fight this nice young man to the death, or I’ll kill your remaining friends and your father one by one, understand? Nothing must stand in the way of Lord Dio’s new universe.”
  37. >Pucci’s hands tighten around Jotaro’s neck
  38. >Jolyne’s hands clench at her sides
  39. >Your hands pull at the neck of your shirt
  40. >She’s ruthless, but you don’t think she’d be able to kill a semi-innocent bystander she just met
  41. >You glare at Pucci, trying to figure out a way to defeat [Made In Heaven]-
  42. >”I’m sorry you got involved in all this, but I need to save my father.”
  43. >[spoiler]ゴゴゴゴゴゴ[/spoiler]
  44. >There’s only the slightest hint of remorse in her voice
  45. >Fuck
  46.
  47. “The Swift-Sleuthing Gravity Master” VS. “The Lean Mean Bondage Queen”
  48.
  49. OPEN THE GAME!
  50.
  51. >Prehensile string wraps tightly around your legs and rips them out from under you, slamming you into the ground and dragging you towards Jolyne
  52. >”[STONE FREE]!”
  53. >Massive amounts of silken string spool up from Jolyne’s shoulders, bunching into a vaguely humanoid shape, a very buff humanoid shape
  54. >You had really hoped she wouldn’t use her Stand to ORAORAORA the shit out of you, but fear for one’s family tends to cloud one’s judgement
  55. >”I’ll end this in one blow! ORA!”
  56. “[SATURN’S CHILDREN]!”
  57. >Your Stand flies up directly in the path of [Stone Free]’s fist, spinning as rapidly and orbiting as tightly as it can to repel Jolyne’s attack
  58. >The gravitational force is so intense that [Stone Free]’s hand bounces off and to the side, nearly breaking Jolyne’s wrist
  59. >Swinging [Saturn’s Children] down below your feet, you narrow it tightly around the bunched up string and push as hard as you can away from yourself
  60. >Jolyne grits her teeth as she tries her best to hold on, but your Stand proves to be too strong to resist and she unravels her strings from your legs
  61. >”AHH! That really hurt you shithead! It’s like grabbing someone’s cheek and stretching it as far as it can go, and when they tell you to stop you just keep doin’ it!”
  62. “That’s what you get for being an asshole!”
  63. >During the lull in fighting, you rapidly glance around for anything you could launch through [Saturn’s Children] with the force of a bullet
  64. >A brick, a rock, even just a penny is fine
  65. >You just need to put some space between the two of you
  66. >There! A pebble!
  67. >You quickly dash away from Jolyne and stoop to grab the tiny stone, then turn to address her
  68. “Hey, we don’t need to fight! Listen to me, we have to stop or we’re both gonna die!”
  69. >Her only response is to continue stalking towards you, glaring into your soul with murderous intent
  70. >Shit, she’s not listening! You’re gonna have to try something else.
  71. >You begin tightening [Saturn’s Children]’s orbit and speeding up its rotation
  72. >Your Stand floats up to chest height and points itself at your opponent, who seems to just be analyzing you
  73. >Oh shit, you’ve already given her time to get a closer look at how you fight!
  74. >She’s gonna pick up on your ability really quickly!
  75. >Fuck it, FIRE!
  76. >Using your thumb, you flick the pebble into [Saturn’s Children]’s orbit, and it rockets out towards Jolyne’s shoulder
  77. >Instead of blocking with her Stand or dodging, she deliberately takes it and doesn’t even flinch
  78. >As she begins stalking towards you, she unravels a bit of string from the impact site, revealing that the pebble harmlessly impacted some bunched-up string instead of her flesh, and it drops to the asphalt
  79. >”A Stand that alters speed, huh? Might be dangerous if you knew how to use it, but you clearly don’t, or you wouldn’t have stood there like a retard and let me watch it in action.”
  80. >Shit, you hate being right sometimes
  81. >Well, the good news is that she doesn’t fully get it, so you’ll have to use her half-knowledge of your powers to your advantage
  82. >Spying a few more loose rocks, you hurry around the battlefield and scoop them up, firing them through your Stand as she stalks towards you and increasing the rotation every time
  83. >The last stone you fire actually causes her to stagger back from the sheer momentum of it, and that’s when you press the advantage
  84. >Launching [Saturn’s Children] away from your body, you push it onto [Stone Free], forcing both it and Jolyne into a nearby wall
  85. >She’s held there by the force of your Stand, and can’t so much as move
  86. “Jolyne! We need to stop fighting! If we work together, I’m sure we can defeat Pucci and save your dad! We just need to-“
  87. >A sudden blast of air throws you off balance and breaks your concentration, allowing Jolyne to fall away from the concrete
  88. >Pucci has appeared before you once more, holding Jotaro’s memory disc in his hands
  89. >He begins to bend it
  90. >FUCK
  91. >”STOP THAT YOU FUCKIN’ BASTARD!”
  92. >”Allow me to add one stipulation to this battle: if one of you does not kill the other then I will break Jotaro’s memory disc in two, and he shall remain braindead for the rest of his short life. Understand? One of you must die in order for Jotaro Kujo to be saved.”
  93. >Pucci teleports away again, and Jolyne clenches her fists so hard her nails break skin
  94. >As the blood flows from her palms she brings her gaze back up to your eyes, and you can see the terrifying resolve therein
  95. >Only one of you is walking away from here alive
  96.
  97. >Jolyne just stands there
  98. >[spoiler]Menacingly[/spoiler]
  99. >Then she stoops down almost casually, and picks up a handful of pebbles
  100. >”Two can play at this game.”
  101. >[Stone Free] appears behind Jolyne again, balling its hand into a fist and balancing the rock on its thumb
  102. >It flicks its thumb out at a meteoric pace, launching the tiny stone towards you at high velocity
  103. >Without even thinking, [Saturn’s Children] shoots out in front of you, spinning rapidly to halt the projectile in its path
  104. >By the time it’s caught the first pebble, Jolyne’s already fired a second one
  105. >This one flies wide, and it takes a second for you to see the minuscule string trailing behind it
  106. >By that time it’s already too late
  107. >The string catches on one of the many girders dotted around the area, which slingshots it back around and directly into your right calf
  108. >The stone penetrates the first few layers of skin and lodges in, drawing blood and forcing you to put all of your weight on your left leg to avoid agitating the wound
  109. >That’s when you see Jolyne tug on her end of the string
  110. >It pulls taut around the girder and yanks the rock out of your leg, causing blood to splatter onto the ground and making you take a knee
  111. >Angry with yourself for being so careless, you seize the end of the string close to you and spin up [Saturn’s Children] around it, stretching the fibers out
  112. >Jolyne grits her teeth in response
  113. >”If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times: stop stretchin’ out my string, asshole!”
  114. “You’re fighting with the intention of killing me; I’m not going to listen to a word you say.”
  115. >”Fine!”
  116. >Jolyne shoots another stone at you while your Stand is preoccupied and it catches you in the stomach, knocking the wind out of you
  117. >CHANCE!
  118. >HHA ACTIVATED: THE OL’ QUARTER ON A STRING TRICK
  119. >The rest of the handful of pebbles she picked up are quickly shrouded in string and thrown at you en masse
  120. >Each has a different arc and velocity and you instinctively know you won’t be able to deflect them all
  121. >As your Stand spins up in front of you again, several stones wrap around the pillars of the Center and slam into your backside, then quickly retract into [Stone Free]’s waiting hands
  122. >It didn’t cause any more flesh wounds, but you’re now covered in aches and pains where the rocks made contact with you and it makes it difficult to focus
  123. >While you have a moment you widen [Saturn’s Children]’s orbit, hopefully preventing any further attacks of that nature
  124. >Jolyne launches the second volley much faster than you expected, and a couple of the rocks actually break through your Stand’s gravitational field, blasting into your left arm and right thigh
  125. >They pierce just deep enough to cut you, and hit just hard enough to cause major aches
  126. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
  127. >DAMN, IT HURTS
  128. >You grab the twin strings as they attempt to pull away from your body, pushing them back with your Stand and freeing the rocks they hold as Jolyne struggles against the stretching of her fabric
  129. >The strings actually tear this time, and as they retract into Jolyne’s body you can see that she is now missing the index and thumb nails on her right hand
  130. >”YOU LITTLE SHIT!”
  131. >Acting quickly, you narrow [Saturn’s Children] as tightly as you can and flick one pebble through it, directly towards Jolyne’s brain
  132. >Even if she unravels there’s still a chance it could cause blunt trauma to her head if it hits hard enough
  133. >Just as you expected, she takes the bait, unraveling some of the string that makes up her head and taking the hit like a champ
  134. >Not a moment later she staggers a little
  135. >Apparently the shock was enough to give her a slight concussion
  136. >You ready the second stone and take aim at her head again
  137. >FIRE
  138. >”[STONE FREE]!”
  139. >Her Stand barely raises its arms in time to block your shot, but the tiny projectile pierces through [Stone Free]’s armguard at high velocity, causing an identical wound on Jolyne and eliciting a massive spurt of blood from her forearm
  140. >”AAAAAAAH SHIT! I’M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS FOR REAL NOW!”
  141. >Time to bounce
  142. >You fire yourself through [Saturn’s Children] as Jolyne’s string swipes through the air where you stood a second ago
  143. >As you rotate your head mid-flight to track her, she forms a rope that latches on to the nearest roof, pulling her up after you as she retracts it at high speeds
  144. >”GET BACK HERE! I NEED TO SAVE MY DAD!”
  145. “AND I NEED TO NOT DIE!”
  146. >”NOT GONNA HAPPEN!”
  147. >Using her string, she latches onto a pillar and yanks herself downward, directly toward your landing zone
  148. >Aw shit
  149. >Using a nearby roof to halt her fall, Jolyne spreads her Stand all over the area, smirking up at you as you plummet towards your end
  150. >Not today, bitch
  151. >[Saturn’s Children] encircles your waist, again spinning at high speed to halt your fall
  152. >Jolyne scowls, and begins shuffling her strings around
  153. >You’re directly above a tiled roof, so you drop down onto it, collapsing to one knee with exhaustion
  154. >Flying around with your Stand is going to completely tire you out if you keep doing it
  155. >If it hasn’t already, anyway
  156. >In the distance, just above the wreckage of a shuttle, you can see Gay Priest hovering, observing the battle
  157. >[Saturn’s Children] spins in an agitated fashion next to you as you try to figure out what Pucci will do to you if the battle doesn’t kill you first
  158. >Jolyne’s sudden reentry into the fray prevents you from following that train of thought
  159. >Bitch slingshots herself right past your face, does a perfect flip in midair, and spreads [Stone Free]’s string over the entire roof in the form of a tightly-woven net
  160. >Right before it comes down over your head, you jump through your Stand again, launching yourself over the edge
  161. >Oh balls, this is gonna hurt
  162. >You squeeze your eyes shut and grit your teeth, tensing your body against the inevitable crunch of bone on concrete
  163. >It never comes
  164. >Jolyne looks over the gutter above you, grim triumph etched into her face
  165. >A single string twists its way around your ankle, keeping you from fleeing any farther, but also keeping you from killing yourself in a moment of haste
  166. >However, your own momentum is carrying you towards the building at a frightfully high velocity
  167. >Fortunately, it’s only an overhang supported by pillars, and the rear wall is just far back enough that you don’t hit it on the upswing
  168. >Unfortunately, [Stone Free] has a very tight grip on your ankle and your opponent is well and truly pissed, so you don’t think your trick from earlier will work out again, and Jolyne will probably reel you in and kick your ass after a few more back-and-forth swings
  169. >Conveniently, there’s a window directly across from you
  170. >Time to stop starting sentences with adverbs and GET THE FUCK IN THERE
  171. >[Saturn’s Children] flies out into the path of your swing, whirling in front of the glass as you cover your head with your forearms
  172. >As you rocket through it, the world goes hazy and a million trucks hit you all at once and then you’re spiraling through, a thousand shards of glass tinkling around you like lethal raindrops
  173. >The impact with the floor jars your left shoulder, and you find it difficult to put weight on your left arm when you try to get up
  174. >A tug on your ankle informs you that [Stone Free] still has a grip on you, and you scramble around for a piece of glass, nicking your arms in the process
  175. >There!
  176. >A nice elongated sliver glimmers next to your foot
  177. >Cautiously, you reach down and grab it, when suddenly Jolyne’s string stretches taut through the broken window
  178. >”You’re not gonna escape that way you bastard!”
  179. >She’s just a hair too late
  180. >You quickly slash across the string binding your foot, watching it fray as you frantically cut through the fibers
  181. >A sanguine solution spurts from the severed silk, and Jolyne screeches in the distance
  182. >The loop around your ankle begins dissolving, and the acrid scent of burning skin fills the room as [Stone Free]’s severed string flakes away into nothingness
  183. >At a snail’s pace, you push yourself off the ground, careful not to agitate your wounds, and manage to finagle your body into a sitting position
  184. >Your shirt becomes strips to apply to all the little cuts you’ve acquired, and you work fast as you dab up the blood that runs down your arms
  185. >When you think you’re all ready to go, you stand up, discarding the bloodied scraps that your clothing has become
  186. >As you slowly straighten, a sensation of wooziness overcomes you, and you nearly fall back down
  187. >Shit, that’s probably a sign that you’ve lost a lot of blood
  188. >If this is going to end, it’s got to end soon
  189. >Time to assess the situation
  190. >It looks like you landed in an office, and there’s a nice wastebasket nearby for you to throw the scraps of your shirt into
  191. >Actually, you could probably just pick up a bunch of this glass and carry it around in that thing; it’d be perfect to fire at Jolyne with [Saturn’s Children], and all you’d need to do is shake the basket so the glass flies out of it
  192. >As quickly as is possible, you crouch down and begin filling the trash can with whatever shards of window you can pick up without cutting your fingers
  193. >After a minute, there’s a good amount of large pieces of glass sitting in your makeshift ammo can
  194. “I just hope this works.”
  195. >Heh, it just works
  196. >You limp out of the office with your new toys, using [Saturn’s Children] to yank the hinges off of locked doors in your way
  197.
  198. >After an eternity of three minutes, you finish limping into the sunlight, wincing every time you set your right leg down
  199. “Should’ve just held her net back with [Saturn’s Children] instead of hurting myself like a dumbass.”
  200. >Whatever, you’re still alive
  201. >Looking around, you notice several strings on the concrete next to you, twitching slightly
  202. >Probably part of [Stone Free]; Jolyne must be searching for you
  203. >She could hear with them in the manga, couldn’t she?
  204. >Leaning down, but not close enough to get grabbed, you speak to the strings
  205. “Yo Jolyne, I’m right here. Let’s get this over with.”
  206. >You stamp your good foot several times by the strings for good measure, causing them to twitch more erratically before retracting around the corner
  207. >That should bring her out of hiding very soon
  208. >She probably wants to finish this just as quickly as you do
  209.
  210. >After a few minutes of waiting slouched over on the ground, Jolyne stalks out from around the corner in front of you
  211. >”You ready to finish this, asshole?”
  212. >She seems conflicted, like she’s trying to figure out whether or not to side with you
  213. “Seems like you’re hesitating, have you decided to think twice about killing me?”
  214. >Jolyne slouches, her face downcast and her body language defeated
  215. >You don’t fall for it, backing up to the office behind you and keeping your back to the wall
  216. >She sneers
  217. >”I’ll do what I have to. Saving my dad and stopping Pucci are more important than wasting time on this battle.”
  218. >Never in your life did you think she’d be so ruthless, but that also means that you have to take her down before she gets a chance to kill you.
  219. >You were hoping to avoid this, but it’s time to make your final move
  220. “Fine then. Let me just ask you one last thing.”
  221. >She stares you down with a glare that could kill the sun, and growls out her response
  222. >”What.”
  223. >Pausing for dramatic effect, you look her straight in the eyes
  224. >ゴゴゴゴゴゴ
  225. “Do you believe in the power of 「Gravity」?
  226. >GHA ACTIVATED: GLASSY COMPLEXION
  227. >High above the court you both stand in, [Saturn’s Children] inverts its orbit, and rains down hell at an angle
  228. >Shards of glass blast into every part of Jolyne’s extremities, and as her legs, arms, and scalp are sliced apart she falls backwards, inviting the deadly deluge into her torso and face
  229. >You hated to do it, you really did, but you didn’t want to die and she was never going to stop trying to save Jotaro
  230. >As you watch, her body starts to unravel itself, living string writhing against the rough ground, but she can find nowhere to slither that won’t destroy her even further
  231. >Before [Stone Free] can unravel her head though, a particularly nasty piece of glass pierces straight through her skull, lobotomizing her instantly
  232. >You jerk away from the sight, breathing laboriously
  233. >You just killed another human being
  234. >Your lunch threatens to come back up, bile rising in the back of your throat
  235. >This is way harder to deal with than you expected.
  236. >Jolyne Cujoh’s death signals your freedom, and Pucci appears before you once again, cackling over his victory
  237. >”Haha! Thanks to you my dear boy the new universe shall be created! Lord DIO will reign over reality without the interference of the Joestar bloodline, and I will be there to aid him every step of the way! Allow me to give you your reward: a front-row seat to the end of Creation, and the beginning of a beautiful new world!”
  238. >Suddenly, the sun sets, and you find yourself on the roof of the main building, Pucci’s hands resting on your shoulder blades
  239. >And just as suddenly, the sun rises
  240. >And then sets again
  241. >The sun begins to rocket across the sky, creating an eye-searing arc of color that illuminates the world and just as quickly vanishes
  242. >Entire days pass in the span of a breath, and the earth turns faster than it was ever supposed to, rotating into infinity as the cosmos crash together in the far reaches of outer space and the universe is crushed into oblivion
  243. >And you throw [Saturn’s Children] down around you, slamming yourself and Pucci to the roof
  244. “I won’t let you remake the universe!”
  245. >Harder and harder you press, hoping to use the extreme gravity to destroy Enrico Pucci’s skull
  246. >He twitches rapidly under the effects of your Stand, seemingly trying to find an escape
  247. >Though he zips around the rooftop, always stuck directly to the tile, he can’t pull himself up to climb over the edge of the roof
  248. >”Damn you boy! You’re too late! Even though I can’t escape, [Made In Heaven] will still unmake everything! Lord DIO’s will shall live on forever!”
  249. >Your back leaves the roof
  250. >Looking above, you see that an incomprehensibly massive celestial body has arrived in the solar system, probably to assimilate it
  251. >In the center, you see a black dot, stark against the searing white of the stars that are now so close to the Earth
  252. >As the gravity of the new universe sucks you towards the great amalgamation of planets, stars, and nebulae in the sky, a great and terrible roar fills your ears, the sound akin to a trillion tortured souls
  253. >The supermassive black hole’s tidal pull, millions of times stronger than anything you can do with [Saturn’s Children], sucks you towards its event horizon
  254. >Then you’re through, and everything goes black
  255.
  256. >You can’t see anything, but it feels like you’re floating
  257. >Blearily, you open your eyes to find that you are surrounded by a great void
  258. >Flecks of light dance lazily all around you
  259. >Is this the new universe? Or are you dead?
  260. >”Anonymous?”
  261. >Your head snaps up as you look around for the source of the voice
  262. >It’s very familiar, but there’s no way she-
  263. >”Anonymous, I’m glad to see that the dream went well.”
  264. >Princess Luna!
  265. >Wait, the dream?
  266. “What the hell do you mean, “the dream”? That was a dream? I saw the universe die, Luna! It was so real I-“
  267. >”I’m well aware. After all, I orchestrated that dream to test your combat abilities. I wanted to see how you’d react.”
  268. >She at least has the decency to look guilty about it
  269. >”What I didn’t expect was that it would result in the destruction of the universe or that it would hurt you so much emotionally. I created that dream using small snippets of your memories, and I decided to choose the fantasy event you remembered with the most urgency, while still being related to Stands. Hence why you remembered things occurring differently than they actually did.”
  270. >A moment passes
  271. >”I am sorry to have caused you so much distress Anon, but I wanted to see what you could do and what you were willing to do if I pushed you far enough.”
  272. >She smiles softly, unable to look you in the eye
  273. >”What I saw impressed me greatly though. You are able to think on your feet, and to use your surroundings to your advantage in even the most unlikely places. Though you lack the physical power of a true warrior, you more than make up for it with your Stand’s great ability and are able to utilize that to its fullest potential. I have every confidence that you are well-equipped to deal with the Stand problems that have been cropping up around Ponyville, so though you may not want to hear it just now you’ve earned a congratulations from me.”
  274. >She glances up at you, and you take the opportunity to glare at her
  275. >Though she shrinks back a little, she holds your gaze
  276. “I’m not happy about this, but I can understand why you did it. In the future ask before you decide to screw with my dreams again, alright? I don’t want to have to kill any more people. It felt so REAL, Luna. I almost threw up.”
  277. >She nods once in response, somber once more
  278. >Breaking eye contact, you glance around the dreamscape and something occurs to you
  279. “Luna, how did you know what my Stand was capable of? You don’t have one, right?”
  280. >The princess smirks at you from behind her bangs
  281. >”Well perhaps it was the power of my own Stand, [Flying In A Blue Dream], that allowed me to see yours. Or perhaps it was simply because I was inside your head, seeing things from your own perspective. The world may never know.”

  283. >”With that I am off. I’ll send you a letter in advance next time I want to do something like this to your dreams. Until then Anon, sleep tight.”
  284. “Seeya Luna. Safe travels through the uh, the collective unconsciousness I guess.”
  285. >The blue princess waves goodbye to you before slipping through the portal, and you drift back down into a dreamless sleep
