  1.
  2.
  3. It took an eternity, but after cleaving through a decent amount of soldiers able body magi were found.
  4.
  5. No Ithaca.
  6.
  7. No Quincy.
  8.
  9. No Chieftains.
  10.
  11. Just kids. Pinks flash, illuminating the on the two beings. His features were blank. Yet his presence screamed 'I hate you'. He hadn't even truly met the two, it was just how low he's fell. There was no playful banter here like usual, it was cold.
  12.
  13. An acidic toxin flowed with every step taken as the sole member of Obsidia's core had found a decent match.
  14.
  15. A tug from the arcane brought his blade into his hand, "Fall." his tone low, a disgusting fume leaves his lips as they part. Chaos was in the air, they could feel the hate he carried. The burdens on his back, the loss, they could feel it all. Neo is obviously not well, his forces were losing terribly.
  16.
  17. Nothing was going according to plan. He couldn't control their fates, or change them. He's lost again.
  18. (Neo Invidia)
  19.
  20. Chaos.
  21.
  22. Jhin weaves through the masses of bodies scattered about, sparks spraying about as his blade met many others. He slips through armored soldiers, his blade digging into the side of faceless enemies as they were swiftly dropped to their knees and left to tend to their injuries. No longer was the Wvelven naïve enough to only leave superficial wounds, blood splattering along the grass as he shakily exhales and darts onward. Any soldier he left in a decent enough condition could still fight, they oculd still harm his comrades. Even more lives would be lost if he did not adhere to his moral compass, and he would ensure he incapacitates as many enemies as possible.
  23.
  24. Waves of flames rupture onward, bathing enemies in golden wreathes as his eyes swiftly drift along the battlefield. He's breathing hard, sweat pouring down his brow as he glances toward takes note of a sinister presence. It brings his legs to a halt, only to ready his blade toward the insidious vampire.
  25.
  26. Neo Invidia.
  27.
  28. You need me. Call upon me.
  29.
  30. The voice gently rings into the back of his mind, though its muffled by the waves of raw fear that crash over his head. He could tell that Neo was nothing like how he's seen him in Crafthold. He was cold, brutal, and a killing machine. He was an individual that was the essence of a Vampire, a father among the many-faced killers that roamed the lands.
  31.
  32. His fingers twist along the hilt of his blade, his own expression growing colder as he digs his heels in. Running had felt like an option, but he wouldn't do so now. No, he would cease this cycle of violence and he'd aim to punch through the Father of Invidia's to do so. Fire rolls along his metallic blade, preparing to charge onward as flames bathe his body.
  33.
  34. "Father. Mother. Watch over me." He mumbles beneath his breath, offering silent prayers to the Godsabove.
  35. (Jhin Wvelven)
  36.
  37. Neo Invidia drinks a Rage Potion!
  38.
  39. He is terribly scared.
  40.
  41. More than he wants to admit. Likely more than the knight will ever feel in the rest of his life. Last time, there was a Nethradin, and this time... What will it be? A demon? A ghoul? An Archon..?
  42.
  43. And then he hears it- the sound of a floating vampire, lurking in the skies for soldiers to pick off. What could be considered as a dinner, even. In that same instant, where the blond's emerald eyes lock with the Invidia's pink, he loses his breath. It's as if time had finally stopped. .. But it's only a moment. Time-magi or not, Galahad wasn't capable of making it last longer.
  44. Even if he desired to do so.
  45.
  46. He took a glance at his right, spotting one of Nikalus' friends. He was here too. .. That meant he wouldn't stand alone, at the very least.
  47.
  48. The knight's eyes closed, losing his sight in such a chaotic place- such a dangerous time. And in the very next, a swirl of scarlet, ethereal mana swallowed him whole - blinding those who'd dare to face it for too long.
  49.
  50. It then calmed, but only slightly. His green eyes were no more. His brand of cursed magic took over, ruby replacing what was once emerald.
  51.
  52. "Are you prepared to defy fate together, Jhin?"
  53. Galahad felt confident. At last.
  54. (Galahad Gwynne)

  101.
  102. {RP BATTLE} YOU ROLLED 4 or less: You've sustained an injury in battle. It's up to you and your opponent to determine the specifics of the injury.
  103.
  104.
  105.
  106.
  107. You have received an INJURY from Neo Invidia:
  108.
  109. {RP BATTLE} YOU HAVE ROLLED 2 OR UNDER: You have been captured by your enemy! You are completely at their mercy.
  110.
  111. Galahad Gwynne has sustained an injury in battle...
  112.
  113. Galahad Gwynne has rolled 3 or over: they may escape capture attempts (unless otherwise specified)!
  114.
  115. You fall back to the ground. (Levitation Potion has worn off)
  116.
  117. Desc: "For about of year every negative emotion is enhanced, you tend to be a lot more aggessive for no reason. Your mind is plagued by Chaos, you tend to think in a very pessimistic way, and you begin to develop trust issues."
  118.
  119. Desc: "For about of year every negative emotion is enhanced, you tend to be a lot more aggessive for no reason. Your mind is plagued by Chaos, you tend to think in a very pessimistic way, and you begin to develop trust issues."
  120.
  121. It was easy, no sweat.
  122.
  123. He aimed for the weaker link, Jhin. Younger, his magic didn't seem to have much flare. His movements were precise, calculated. He fought as if there was no risk. Easily traversing through the flames as they tear at his regenerating skin.
  124.
  125. It didn't take long for Jhin to fall, Neo is powerful. A few swings of the blade-- and the boy was left extremely damaged, and fallen.
  126.
  127. Neo was like a horror movie, his head cocks over to Galahad. No banter, it was just a straight forward attack. Neo's body collides with their own sending them flying. He chases, easily catching them only to send them away with a destructive wave of corruption.
  128.
  129. The arcane was something Neo wields like second nature. It was like taking a breath.
  130.
  131. Beams of cosmic bash into his body yet they couldn't leave a real scar. It was like he was transparent. Walking through the magic as if it was nothing. Neo was still very impressed, whatever thismagic was it was like nothing he's ever seen before.
  132.
  133. After closing the distance, Galahad was gripped by the throat. Neo would deliver two slashes across his chest, before tossing him aside and collecting Jhin's body.
  134.
  135. "I'm hungry."
  136. (Neo Invidia)
  137.
  138. The battle surely felt like an uphill one, and it was even more painful when he took note of the inexperience on his side of the spectrum. Neo moved about with the precision of a predator, tearing through Jhin's meager defenses once he had managed to close the gap. Even so, Jhin had not gone down without inflicting some variant of damage, unleashing combinations he had practiced endlessly with Koume. He had done substantial damage, or at least, he had perceived as such when he bathed Neo in a series of flames that appeared to be unending.
  139.
  140. Sweat accumulates along Jhin's manic form, exhausting himself relatively quickly as his sea of flames had failed to prove effective. Neo had ripped straight through it without pause, leaving him to be cleaved about with the blade. Blood spills from his chest region as his eyes lose their original color. They white out dynamically, leaving him crushed in a small entrenchment from where he had been sent plummeting down upon.
  141.
  142. His wounds were heavy, and he was too rattled by the horrific blows as he's left weakly wheezing along the ground. The grip upon his blade is loosened, and he found himself desperately reaching out to the heavens for aid. His mind's train of thought distorts as his vision blurs, though the seeds of Chaos had evidently afflicted his mind.
  143.
  144. This was Galahad's fault, wasn't it? He hadn't carried his weight in the battle, leaving Jhin exposed while he had spaced himself away from the incurring battle. His mind drifts to a realm of paranoia, and unbridled aggression hazily directs itself wildly about. "S..some..body.." His consciousness slips shortly after, leaving him battered in both body and mind as he was only moments from being hefted up.
  145.
  146. He's failed. He's failed them all, perhaps.
  147. (Jhin Wvelven)
  148.
  149. ..Was it anything like what Galahad expected?
  150.
  151. No. It wasn't even close. It didn't feel as if they had a chance, at all. The vampire travelled through the flames as if they were nothing but a figment of the knight's imagination. He refused to burn, and the heat failed to persuade the Invidia to fall back, or halt between his attacks.
  152.
  153. He was a well-oiled machine, and they were... Mortals. Was there ever a chance for the both of them?
  154.
  155. The violet-haired vampire launched himself into Galahad himself, doing so effortlessly. Resistant to the pain. The Gwynne, however, lost his breath. He's sent flying away, the laws of gravity seem to... Forget about him, until Neo arrives. He didn't forget, apparently.
  156.
  157. It's towards the end that the blond gives one last attempt- a few beams of his scarlet red mana rise, surrounding the vampire. A threat, almost. But that as well, refuses to change the tides of the battle.
  158.
  159. The younger-appearing man had won.
  160. And he even marked Galahad so there'll be evidence for it.
  161.
  162. "D-Don't..." He's already been tossed away, his mana fading into air. ".. Don't kill him..."
  163.
  164. A final plead.
  165. (Galahad Gwynne)

  194.
  195. Shai Oshura whispers something.
  196.
  197. Wallis whispers something.
  198.
  199. Wallis whispers something.
  200.
  201. That child-man helped take Varick from her. As she stares down at him, bound and left at the mercy of a Dryad, she wanted so badly to punish him. How could age excuse what he did? The life he helped to take? The lives that would have been lost if his involvement helped turn the tides of Obsidia's invasion...
  202.
  203. Nothing could excuse it.
  204.
  205. Before retorting she caught something at the corner of her eye. Activity far off - Before long she makes her way up there. Left to observe the aftermath of Jihn's battle against something. A creature she has seen wandering by the tower, that has abused Craftholds proclaimed neutrality for protection.
  206.
  207. She has cornered a vampire.
  208.
  209. Quickly she withdraws her blood-soaked blade. Many of its lesser ilk were taken out - Slaughtered or butchered where she could. But she was not without injury and she had only gotten a taste of what combat against their kind would be like. This was different.
  210.
  211. The Adrenaline coursed through her veins.
  212.
  213. Beside her she saw a face. A familiarity that was tied so intimately with vampires. One of the people who came to her aid to protect Kiku against the Sin of Envy. A heavy nod is given to him as she turns back to the creature of Cain. From her pocket - Potions.
  214.
  215. She swallows all of them.
  216.
  217. Skin hardens, magic coalesces to heal her scrapes and burns. And beside those supportive potions? A vial of liquid red, downed her throat as her body quivers and scalds in response. Her leylines grow active, her form budding with Fairy-blessed malice. The rage potion takes effect as she goes against Kiku's advice.
  218.
  219. She could see nothing but the Vampire. And she wanted it dead.
  220.
  221. Much of what happened next was a blur for her. Blades clashing - Aura's flaring. It was chaos in the dark that she tried to find herself through. By the end of it she was recovering from the ground, the Vampire swatted away from the injured ally. She gripped the blade momentarily, still budding with absolute anger.
  222.
  223. "Why won't you die." She pulls it from the ground, trudging it along the dried soil as she starts to make another approach. It was time for it to leave.
  224. (Shai Oshura)
  225.
  226. Wallis whispers something.
  227.
  228. Wallis whispers something.
  229.
  230.
  231. The sounds of violence carried Wallis to the north, away from the center of the battlefield between Gehenna and Obsidia. When he'd found himself before a vampire - Neo Invidia, no less - and a pair of already defeated combatants, something shut off in his mind.
  232.
  233. He didn't hesitate. His jacket, his cloak, it all melted away into a thick black - tar, maybe - revealing a suit of mythril underneath, ill-fitting.
  234.
  235. Shai soon joined him by his side, and he gave her a firm nod. No words, as she downed a small arsenal of potions, and took her combat stance.
  236.
  237. The man showed his style as that of a demolitionist - leaving fire and occult blasts in his wake, artificial, magical explosives compressed with Gravity magic littering the battlefield.
  238.
  239. He's reckless. It's a small miracle that, in all of the chaos, he doesn't damage Shai at all - only himself, which certainly doesn't help when the vampire's just as erratic, just as aggressive as him.
  240.
  241. And when the dust clears, Wallis is left with visible cuts and wounds across his person - all bleeding the same black sludge, in lieu of a human's red blood.
  242.
  243. He tries to gather his breath, tries to hide the most obvious wounds beneath a growing, shifting coat, covering the armor beneath, as his head tilts to Shai -
  244.
  245. "I think... I think he's down. We did good, yeah...?"
  246.
  247. (Wallis)
