Daehee was born in Changwon, South Korea and lived there for the first four years of her life. She was too young to remember any experiences of Changwon. She then moved to Daegu, South Korea. She went to a massive school that had the primary and secondary school joined together. In school, she was frequently getting expelled from school because of her frequent misbehaviour including getting into fights, insulting or swearing at teacher or students or just being disruptive in school. She lived in the streets for a long time due to a monster attack that occured in her area. As a result of this attack, her mum and stepdad were killed and she had to run away if she didn't want to die as well. She lived on the streets for about 2 years until a satyr found her and led her to the camp. At first, she was hesitant and wary however, she agreed on going because she knew that anywhere would be better than living on the streets.
