  3. Cecil cracked his knuckles. The computer's screen cast a sickly cyan glow
  4. upon his face. He stared at its dead pixel as his mind chugged back into activity. Something he needed to
  5. do... rent. Rent. Fuck. He kicked back against the desk, pushing his chair into the center of the room. His
  6. rasta hoodie draped off the sofa's arm. The sofa and the computer desk, basically the only adornments in his
  7. sparse, shitty apartment. Cecil sighed. He walked to the window, lifting one of the blinds to stare outside.
  8. His heart jolted when he saw a tall
  9. object across the street - a palm tree. He put the blind back, noticed his hand was shaking. Worry tugged
  10. at his thoughts. Why the recent boughts of paranoia? As if he felt hunted? He checked his phone. No messages
  11. or notifications. Of course not. No friends. Cecil sat back in his chair, leaning back until it creaked. He
  12. studied the drawings on the wall. Detailed schematics of an outfit- a face covering, lenses. Some kind of
  13. vigilante thing. Cecil scoffed and ripped the drawing off the wall, crumpling it and throwing it in the trash.
  14. He settled back into his seat and stared at the dead pixel on his screen.

  19. #102 and her team are heading out to an investigation. Her dad is feeling better than he has in 2 years,
  20. They're thrilled to be getting back in the game together. They stop at a grocery store to get provisions;
  21. it's going to be an all-night investigation.

  23. She, her dad and Ted are laughing and joking as they enter the store. On the way in, she passes a young man
  24. wearing a coat with a fur collar and dog tags around his neck. He holds the door open for them; as they make
  25. eye contact, they both get the strangest look...they swear they've seen each other before, maybe in a dream;
  26. he looks familiar to her, and he swears he's heard that laugh before....
  27.  
  28. As they leave the store, their arms full of groccery bags, she bumps into another young man. A young man
  29. in a black leather jacket with a thick New Jersey accent. The grocceries go all over the place. He helps
  30. her and her dad pick them up....and as the two make eye contact, they freeze....
  31. "Excuse me, this is going to sound crazy, but...is your name Daniel?"
