  1. The news of Cairo's fall first spread like a rumor, but quickly cemented itself as fact.
  2.
  3. The mightiest city in all the western world, and the bastion of law and decency, did not fall to a barrage of ballista and trebuchets. It didn't get crushed under heel of the marching of armies, or from a barrage of spells by their enemies most skilled of mages.
  4.
  5. Cairo surrendered. Cairo laid down its arms, and opened its walls.

Sir Law had betrayed his city, and turned his most loyal of paladins against the very city that trained them. Against this force, the governors saw no possible solution but the surrender to Noa Wei, once the King in Chains, now the King of Both Worlds.
  10.
  11. Umar Law now served Noa Wei.
