BACKGROUND : Zan transferred to Korea after his parents divorced and his father found a job there. Zan kept in touch with his mother and younger brother but after a fight with his sibling that he stuffed back into his memory he hasn't seen nor heard from him since his sophomore year. Zan said some very hurtful words to his younger brother and left the next day without even looking back at him. Since then, Zan has refused to return to China. It's only years later that Zan realizes the irony. He stopped talking to his brother for being gay when he is questioning everything he's ever known.
