  1. everybody loves to say something terrible and then come back and say how it was actually an ironic commentary and on and on. isn't it enough to say something horrible for its own sake?
  2. to say something offensive, do we need it actually to be secretly the opposite? banal? PC?
  3. because everybody wants to laugh so hard at the un-PC joke. the joke about the boobs and the women and so on. about the 'weak'. they want to have their cake and eat it too. that's why this article is so perfect for reddit. they want to be justice warriors and to have a good laugh. and the two things must be entirely consistent, because it 'feels rights' to them. there's no possibility of their immediate reaction being wrong. unjust.
