  1. Setting: Underneath the Drysnae’s Crucible, there reside a restricted area where ‘Damnation’ earned its meaning. Directly upon a sea of Fire that was hot enough to melt the flesh off of Mortals within mere minutes of exposure, only those of utmost enhancement can even dare to breathe the Air of the Bastion. Small, craggy crevices pokes out, carrying upon its back heavily enchanted Prisons. No more than 15ft wide and 30 ft tall, each cell was designed so that once every three hours, the ground would give way and reveal the molten flame beneath to the prisoner’s view for approximately 30 minutes. During that time frame, the Prisoner will be chained by a Parasite that will grasp onto them, holding them either to the wall, or suspended upon the ceiling. Flames will serve as the Torturer for that time, scalding the flesh with its inferno blaze over and over...and over again.
  2.
  3. Over at the Cell 665, there resides the Monster that has slaughtered the whole Battalion in its Rest. Mummified with chains made of Parasitic monstrosity, he was hanging from the ceiling and about five feet away from the floor. The chains wrapped around his body tightly, preventing any form of movement taking place as its fangs digs into the flesh -- intoxicating his System with poisons that paralyzes the body, dizzying the mind, and intensifying the sensations. Over his face was a mask that was placed expertly over both his nostrils and mouth. That mask would tightened itself, effectively shattering his jaws if he were to overstep himself. Aside from those, there were heavy enchantments placed upon the walls around him, effectively nullifying both his Transformation and Smoke creation and manipulation.

  5. Not far away, Kain Fatalis resides within the Cell 667. Much like his partner-in-crime, he was suspended in the middle of the room. The wards were a bit heavy, however, due to his previous status as Lord’s Primest. Spread-eagle with chains covering his wrists, ankles, abdomen and throat, each was biting cruelly into his flesh in order to prevent him from able to forming any coherent thoughts. Covering up his bodies was talisman made of languages that was lost to the Wind, papers that damn near faded into dust -- ancient powers humming in silent reminders of its volatility. At his ankles resided a single shackle connecting the a ball of condensed Energy that was as volatile as it is dangerous. One false move, an incorrect way to attempt escape from it will result in an explosion that does not only erase the bearer out of existence, but can damn well bring down one-third of the Bastion itself.

  7. Xioru: The Crucible. Dark. deadly, a masterpiece that was forged from Death itself. A place where souls are eternally damned, a promise of Death bustling across the Living enigma. There was no night or morning, no sun or moon blessing their beloved adoration upon this forsaken land. Eclipsing the once blue sky is a dulled gray of utmost irreverence -- showering the dry earth with snow like ashes. Despite it being snow, it wasn’t cold to the Touch, not at all. Instead, it almost scalded the skin...Perhaps they are Ashes, after all? From within the highest Tower reside a simple room upon its peak. It was strangely...empty, devoid of any sign of ‘Life’ within it except for the black shadow that stood as silent as stone. He stood at six foot five, a normal height for his associates yet nonetheless towering over most beings. His hair a neat format, brushing back away from his pale, angular face. From afar, it seems like a Stygian helmet that was styled in with a rather old form, but if one focuses enough, they could differentiate the areas that simply...faded colors. He did not mind that in the least, for the Flesh is only a Vessel in order to fulfill his duties. His eyes the color of the Milky way, mercurially swirling within the confines of its orbs as he lifted his gaze to the sky above. Far, so far away was the Lord, his spirits resides within the Pulse that kept the World itself turning. <c>
  8.
  9. Xioru: It was complicated, the relationship between the Lord and The Asunder. Due to the circumstances of his creation, he was unable to form a complete host. Despite having an insurmountable Anchor to this World, his ‘Emotions’ faded as the days retreat into History. So long ago was the creation of Xios, earning the Title of ‘The Asunder’ from the Lord himself after demonstrating his very Core to the...Being that reigns over the Lands. It wasn’t difficult to ascends the Hierarchy with his strangeness and skills from another world. While the memories of this World slowly overlapped the others, it has served its purpose enough to place him as one of the Trinity’s Primest -- earning him Sphira’s belly as his Domain. Lands, Power and Wealth, those are meaningless to a Being that simply doesn’t ‘feel’, so he utilized it to the best of his power; A construct from Ashes and Bones, the Crucibles loomed over the innocents and damned alike in its atrocious aura. No matter how much Time have passed, this Pillar of great Atrocity still remain; a beacon for the guilty to be fearful of. <c>
  10.
  11. Xioru: For him, a Prison that was bustling with as much Life as it was Death would never be his option. He was a creature of Lost Memories, should reside where neither Life nor Death would have their filthy grasp upon; He shook his head then, clearing away the memories of Time long Forgotten as he reaches for his coat. Simple and plain, a coat of obsidian silk covering the entirety of his visage as he head downward. Step by soft, deadly steps, the heels of his shoes clicking against the harsh stone as he descended the stairs. It was a spiral, one far too deadly for a man to rush up or down. That was no matter, for ‘The Asunder’ have all the Time in the world. The Lord’s revival may be pressing, of course, but there were no Rush in this particularly strange circumstance. If the Lord was revived, then surely the Sect of VII would’ve already informed him about this. No one can hide the Truth from a Primest, not when one that would affects their feeble hearts in such an erratic manner. No, the odds of the Lord’s return is quite slim indeed. It was rather odd, this situation where so many lives were taken. If counted correctly, it would not be less than twenty, although no more than fifty in total. Xios’s shoe, shining despite its dark silhouette, connects with the stygian marble as he steal a glance at the window -- and what lies beyond. A simple gesture, a subtle wave of his hand in order to unlock the door. Heat of unmitigated fury assaulted his skin immediately; he could feel it, the desire to be melted off of his bone like a beast that yearned for a taste of Flesh once again. Not even he, the Warden of the Prison itself, can stop this reaction. Glancing away, ‘The Asunder closes the heavily warded Windows as he head for his secret chamber -- where the stairway toward the Bastion awaits. Descending once again, Xios enchanted the blood from his body, making sure that it will resist the Heat of the Bastion as he confront the Inferno itself. ‘It’s Time to find out the Truth once more.’ He thought as he silently follows the craggy path -- heading straight for the Cells where the Monsters reside. <e>

  13. soranightwing: Five months. Five very long and very exhausting months she had searched. With nearly no sign of the man she searched for that night, those images still burned into the back of her mind as though it were a brand upon her flesh. The floor coated with blood and bodies. The putrid stench of iron in the air as the howls of men dying filled the air. From the balcony she say everything, the carnage, the violence, and the one she cared for most. The darkness fell upon her as she tracked his what little remnants she could find, and finally she had a lead. Vixen's crimson hair was tied high into a pony tail as she climbed across the ruins of Sphira. She wore a light weight cloth white and blue with a long blue scarf tied about her hips. Under that sat two daggers for hand to hand combat along with pouches full of leaves, seeds, and vials. Each one equipped with passions, hallucinogens, and more. In another pouch a small folded up blow gun for long range attacks. Her mismatched eyes flickered as the world lit up under the young elementals feet, tracking auras, or what remained of them, barely visible. She heard them long before she saw them, the horde that came from over the hills. Vixens eyes flickered in a way that was not only menacing but also a warning to any who drew near. Her hair seemed to spark around the edges as her mismatched eyes turned dark like molten lava ready to flow. She turned to face the undead, upon seeing the skeletal bodies, her lips curled into a deep smirk. One, two, seven, about ten. Each standing just a few inches shorter than she was. She took in the positions of each as vines snaked down each arm, usually she would be one to hide in the back ground and poisons but it was no use when they were both already undead and only bones. She took a deep breath and started of towards them, one of the Vines slipping down her arm she whipped it forward, "You are slowing..." The vine snaked about one of the undead heads, she gave a violent yank as the head came free "SLowing me down!" she barked as one of the swung a blade to attack she twisted to the side quickly her hands touching the ground as she cartwheel away, another swinging its blade she leapt up and landed on its dulled surface. Her eyes became a deep crimson color as her hair burst into flames. She leapt forward and tackled it to the ground wrapping her fingers about the arm, twisting violently once she hit the ground ripping the arm holding the blade free. She turned her head as her hand started to glow fire shooting forth in an explosion. Bits of bone flying all about her as she held the blade up. It was only then that she noticed the cave sitting behind her. Her gaze became a light emerald color as she shifted a foot a wall of rock shooting up between her and the rest of the army as she turned on her heel and bolted towards the cavern, each foot pounding the ground as the faint auras lit up. She could feel him, unfortunately she could also feel many others.

  16. -The days had mixed together during his time bound in his cell within the Bastion, though the man couldn't help but crack a grin at the thought; even when he was wandering free from these chains the days still felt the same. Being suspended in the air as he was his body was tense, the chains biting into his flesh kept his focus from forming as well as cutting off his power. Though the floor opened every few hours exposing his body to the hellish flames the paper talismans covering his body remained in place, unscathed from the blistering heat. The man had plenty of time to think over the many months in the cell, one of his more amusing thoughts was how people didn't seem to understand that no matter what the conditions may be when exposed to something on a constant basis…you'll get used to it. The man found amusement in the extent he was bound, then again in his younger days when his rampages were more frequent eliminating movement was a wise choice. The pain experienced will become the new average as the body and mind slowly desensitize themselves to it, the guards that stood by or walked by would take enjoyment in poking fun at the bound man yet his expression remained the same in reaction. It was difficult to place, eerily calm yet the slightest smirk remained on his face; the man's two toned eyes still visible with the talisman on his head glowed brightly through the dark corners of his cell. Silver and gold orbs watching and waiting, the amount of pain the prisoners endured was well known to the guards which is one of the reasons that made this particular man's serene expression so unnerving. It was almost as if the man titled 'The Betrayer' was exactly where he wanted to be.-

  18. Omnitox: Deep beneath the desolate earth lies a cavern, dark, scorched, and the anguish and agony from deeper felt as if it were an ore leaking from the walls of its stone surface. Heat radiating against the roof, of the cavern from deep below, a molten river, heat bearing down upon the cell door, as anger and hunger could be felt from within. Within it’s dark confinements, rests a being, extended over the floor, five feet above, deep slumber over taken him for the time period of five months. The males being splattered in crimson such a period ago, now dried, his snow white hair, long hitting his chest, his bangs reaching his nose, rounded to meet the length in perfect unison. The chains upon him tight to his flesh, bare except for his lower half, a pair of white and black striped bottoms, torn around the mid-calf, his ankle, neck, and wrist shackles clearly visible, as his head hung in silence, his upper body partially covered in tribal tattoos from long ago in time, but his flesh, pale as the moon. Hunger flowing from his pours so thick it could be leaking through the thick walls. Glowing markings across the walls, in the shape of enchantments, unknown to many, as the chains sink deep within his flesh, releasing poisons and toxins into his blood stream, dulling his senses and causing him to remain docile, but yet, being able to raise his head and gaze towards the darkness around him, his platinum silver iris’ glowing bright before he lowered his head once more, closing his eye lids, he lightly drifted into his slumber once more his flesh nearly numb due to the constant pain of the parasitic chains confining him, the guards, knowing nothing of him, but viewing the deadly being, the leader of the battalion, giving the name of heartless monster, giving them an idea of his capabilities, as the slight shift, causing the cursed mark upon his forehead to reveal itself, it’s purpose unknown to most.
  19.
  20.
  21. XioruXioru Whisper: Phase 2: Bastion’s Vanguard [2]: “This armor is a fucking pain, no matter how many time I don it.” The man on the left growled, shifting on his feet restlessly. “Yeah? You can totally give me a strip-tease if you wish. I wouldn’t mind seeing your filthy skin being burned off by the heat.” The other one retorted in an annoyed voice. Despite their constant toxicity at each other, they were two of the finest guard for the Bastion Keep. They were the Elites amongst the Elites, tasked with guarding one of the most dangerous criminal in the World: The Male assassin that was seemingly one with Madness. It sent chills down their spine to know of their capabilities, but fearing monsters are nothing new to them, after all. They’ve always feared monsters, that’s why they were able to overcome both the monster and the fear in the end. This will be no difference, none whatsover. “Hey, at least we don’t have to guard the Rabid animal.” The one on the right gestured at the cell not far away from them -- the guards seemingly even more restless than normal. “I know, right? Just imagine being so close to that monster and unable to give him a taste of what he did to us,” They practically growled the words out -- vengeance boiling their veins as spite fuels their powers. Soon, so very soon, they will be allowed the honor to gut the beast where he stood. Very, very soon indeed. /End phase/
  22.
  23. Xioru: The bubbling river of Lava, fire an unpredictable tide as it lazily flows in between the harsh ground. ‘The Asunder’ descends, each of his step carrying a soft tone that echoes out the power of his presence. The guards turned ignored him, of course, for not even formality to a Primest can stop them from their Duties. A subtle inclination of his head in acknowledgement to their Will as he walk by, his coat billowing as he increases his speed. He could’ve easily floated, or rather using his blood as a mean of transportation, yet using such volatile substance here would only serve to damage more than help. He refrained, his bony fingers lifting to signal the guard as they lowers the bridge that connected the two lands together. A small bridge, no use for a large-scale prison break, a perfect solution to this predicament. His shoes softly clinking against the ground, making his step a hollowed reminder as he headed for the newest inmates. Passing by the beast first, he stopped to glance at the Murderer of his Platoon. There was no Rage, no Pain, only a reminder of the simple fact: This beast has decimated His men. So he punished, his bony finger lifted to tightened the tendrils even more as the clasp upon the male’s face started to pour toxins into his body. If this keep up, the beast will both be deprived of Blood and Air, carrying him into the brink of death. Disregarding the prisoner for now, Xios continue to forged ahead. Waving the guard away as he opened the cell door, he lifted his mercurial white gaze to the pair of duality in front of him. “The Betrayer.” A simple statement, a note of acknowledgement from one Primest to another.

  25.
  26. -The man could sense the discomfort the guards felt being near him, it brought the man a sense of satisfaction and joy, from their words and echoes Kain was able to guess long ago the lad whom had been fighting with Lord was also here and nearby at that. Trying to stretch a small amount rewarded the chains biting into his flesh further causing blood to trickle down his body, the talismans seemed to absorb his blood upon contact, almost as if they were feeding off it. The man's exposed torso showed quite extensive tattoo work in what appeared to be in a rune or alchemic theme, where his black and white stripped pants were torn also revealed similar themed markings down his legs as well. His already long grey hair hung in his face casting quite the extensive shadow creating an even greater contrast with his glowing eyes. There was a disturbance, footsteps approaching and the guards usual noises changing, it would seem someone was approaching. Soon the door to his cell was opened and a man stepped inside, the scent about him bringing a slightly larger smirk to the man's face.- "Evening or morning, not fully sure which." -The man's voice had a fluid British accent to it, his tone calm and even slightly amused contrary to the position he was in, upon speaking the man's completely pointed shark-like teeth would flash. The man didn't much care for rank, or whose side they were on; the only thing that interested him was what it was they wanted now and for what reason. Kain's two toned gaze stayed on the man, paper tag hanging in his face.-

  29. Omnitox: Feeling the plate tighten upon his jaws, the pain absent from him, due to his numb state, feeling the toxins flow into his body, he slowly began to become adrift, his hunger raging but his mind filled with thankful bliss upon the enchantments, keeping his other side, as all he was able to place as a name for the nearly unstoppable monster that lied within him, resting, eager to meet the burning sun once more upon this realm, hunger for the crimson liquid he so adored to meet his flesh once more. His eye lids closed, he simply heard the hollow steps of the being outside of the cell, his ears slightly twitch from the harsh comments of the guards outside of the other inmates door, a murky grey tear leaving his tear duct and dragging down his cheek, them knowing the horrific side of him, his attempts to be seen as merciful and warm, now in vein. Sadness from this fact filled him, the flame resting within his chest, his only extent of warm, small in size as he simply remained idle, not willing to even attempt any type of movement, for this is what he felt that was deserved due to inability to remain so, that blood soaked and deadly night.
  30.
  31. Aurix: Katya's feet quickly shuffled her way down the dirt path. Undead; boy did she hate those things. They made loud noises and they smelled funny. Fighting wasn't really her thing, and so instead, she began to dodge like no other. Left, right, back a few steps even when need be. It looked like some dance routine, or quite possibly a comedy show, though terror was struck upon her face like etched stone. She hadn't seen these kinds of creatures before, but she'd be damned if she stuck around to figure out what they were and why they were trying to bite her. Nope, not happening. Her pace picked up as she made her way through a tunnel, having to take more time to maneuver her way through it in order to ensure she didn't snap her neck on anything. It took what seemed like forever before she was spit out of the tunnel as light hit her face once again. Luminous, irisless optics scanned what seemed to be a bridge. Oh, how she hated bridges. They usually swayed side to side, and while her balance was fair, it wasn't perfect. She didn't even bother taking her time with this one. She wanted to cross it as soon as possible, and so she did; hands at her sides while she started to bolt across the bridge. She probably looked rather odd, or maybe even kind of stupid. Her five foot frame quickly lead her to the other side, and it wasn't until heels were planted on solid ground that she stopped. Her frame then leaned forward, hands on her knees and tail tucked between her legs as she huffed, trying to catch her breath which was more so from her anxiety of the bridge rather than the running itself, though the exercise probably didn't hurt. Her gaze then wandered towards the door of what seemed to be a rather large building. She'd hesitate, but make her way over to it once her frame had settled, small digits curling into a fist and reaching up to give a heavy knock upon the door.
  32.
  33. Xioru: Phase 1: Sentinel Guards [2] //It was a boring day, guarding a Bridge once more. The two that stood was not quite so bulky as the Vanguards, instead carrying dual swords that emphasizes on speed and precision -- for that was what they do. They were tasked with only one thing: Guarding the Bridge until Endless Sleep consumes them. A job that they carry out exponentially well, or so they’d believe. It was a boring day, the same mundanities repeating itself...until the silhouette of a small female shows up in sight. It was about thirty feet away, far enough to give them ample time for reactions. Needing no further words, the guard that stood on the right side moved to the front, a hand casually resting against the sharp blade that was attached to his hip. “Halt!” He voice carried, despite him not screaming. “You shall turn back, and you shall not remember, or you will face the wrath of the Crucible itself!” A warning, so strange for the Guard to issue even words toward intruders, much less a warning. Time has waned their edges, after all.
  34.
  35. Xioru: Phase 2: Bastion’s Vanguards [2] //They retreated hastily in the quake of Lord Asunder’s stride, making sure that nothing of theirs would even come close to his vicinity. The last time someone touched him without warning or consent...well, it wasn’t pretty. They showed nothing, of course, for Helms are the most protective gear -- especially when you want to mask your emotion. Their back straight, their face staring forward, they awaited the Primest to enter the chamber before they resumed their respective positions. Letting out a soft breath, they tried their best to tune out the words that was exchanged within the chamber. If any of those ‘secrets’ were to leak out, even their lives might not be so valuable after all.
  36.
  37. Xioru: Phase 3: Skeletal knights [5] //Again they rises, hunting for blood, flesh, and bones to add into the collective brethren. They rises and dance the dance of Death….or as best as they could with missing limbs. It was rather difficult to catch the Prey this time, her dance’s one of immaculate beauty -- for even the Dead can appreciate the beauty of the Living. The didn’t realize what has them so entranced until one sword cleaved against the skull of one of their comrade, effectively mowing down the poor skeleton. Whoops, one down. Fury ignited, they tried to chase after as she head into the Cavern. Too late, they realizes their mistakes as the Spirits slowly retracted from the skeletal hosts, already too far away from their bounded space. //End Phase//
  38.
  39. Xioru: It wasn’t unheard of, for many to disregard Lord Asunder’s title. It also wasn’t unheard of for Kain Fatalis to be here, showing his face within the Bastion. Shaking his head softly, he steps slowly back and forth, examining the amount of confinements that was placed upon the male. Nodding as he realizes the appropriate procedure, he paused as he raked a cool glance over the male’s deteriorated flesh. “How one have fallen, from Grace’s very bosom.” His words flow against the wall, echoing heavily despite it being soft whispers. Small talks, merely a way for him to start his interrogation. No matter when Time is merely a concept here, where the Bastion hones its fangs with brimstones and fire. Pausing, he leaned against the wall as his arm crossed, gazing at the male’s face. “Tell me of the Lord’s revival.” It was a shaky fact, perhaps, but nonetheless a fact. No one of their Caliber wouldn’t know of the Lord’s Revival, not when they were so closely bonded to Him. A silence, interminable space between seconds stretching heavily upon the concept of Eternity, waiting for the words to escape from the Prisoner’s hollowed heart.
  40.
  41. Soranightwing: Hips swaying from side to side Vixen moved with grace, crimson eyes shimmering like the flames below the erupted further up. Her lips curing into a deeper smirk as a rough chuckle left her lips. Her mission was to get in, rescue Dante and get out. Morally she wished to do this with the least amount of casualties, however she wasn't scared to take those who stood in her way down. "Halt" she heard her smirk dropping in annoyance though her voice came out silky smooth " Oh, forgive me it seems I have gotten lost. Thank you kind sir." she cooed. See placed a hand on her hip two long cactus needles rising up each nearly invisible to the eye until it were to close to tell. Each one around five inches long, each one drenched in Chrondrodendron Tomentosum, also known as Curare. A fast acting poison that paralyzed the body, though leaving the victim alive to much of the poison could stop the heart. "thank you for your help kind sir" she breathed lifting her hand to her lips stopping ten feet from him. It seemed as though she were to blow a kiss, though her target would be very wrong. The first dart flew from the gun aimed at the man eye socket, embedding in the tear duct, a lobotomy with poison. The second came in a flash aimed at the second guard neck. As she kept moving each step she took lighting up as she glanced around for him, finally his body lit up in her vision. " Found you my dear" she hummed looking in the general direction of Dante.
  42.
  43. -Kain watched the man as he moved and spoke, the watchful eyes upon his form and bindings. As the notion of fallen from grace came to mind the man gave a chuckle, the phrasing made it sound like he was Lucifer or something of the sort. The man waited for his visitor to get to his actual purpose here, what information he desired. When the topic was finally revealed to him Kain's head tilted to the side slightly, ignoring the bite of the chain and blood that may drip from the process.- "Oh? Surely you felt it." -The man's tone was calm yet held bitter notes.- "He was cut down before I could help him." -The man was fond of information and holding it, yet this particular piece was something that any of those related to Lord had a right to. Kain would wait, curious of what would follow the answer as it wasn't always clear what his intentions were as is, to others it was always a bit of a mystery. Finding the answer to said mystery was one of his sources of entertainment. Pushing back the memory of yet another time his brother fell, it wasn't something he wanted to address around company.-
  44.
  45.
  46. Omnitox: His heightened senses of that from his wolven blood, he was able to hear the beings speaking upon the other side of the wall, whether he wished to do so or not, he allowed his head to hang, the plate, tightly placed masterfully to his nose and mouth, breath not really needed for him to take. Although his hunger raged within him, being staved, would cause him to drift off to sleep once more, causing flashed images of that fateful night to become visible within his mind, along with his extensive past of war and his contracts to end them. Glancing up slightly, his hearing caught the voice of the female before him, his platinum silver iris’ landing upon her, the glow absent due to the toxins flowing through his blood stream, his bond tightly bound to itself as tears could be seen from beneath his long snow white strands upon the metal plate, his sadness could be felt from him. Agony from his sadness, numb filled, his gaze glossed, the sight could be mistaken for blindness. His anger slowly rising as the words from the guards, radiating in his mind, his iris, flashing a deep crimson causing the enchantments to slowly begin to glow, a slight tremor radiating beneath them before ceasing due to the inability for his power to present itself. The plate upon his jaws tighten, warning him of the fact, as the pressure applied before his eye lids slowly closed once more the crimson fading from its platinum silver hue before his head drooped once more.
