- Final Round Judgements GDT 10
- It feel superfluous to actually do this, since so many other judges have already weighed in, but I'll write this out of obligation, if not necessity. I concur with the majority view that PoB beats Ame.
- Other people have already gone into detail as to the why, which I largely agree with, so instead I'm going to address stuff I liked and be 100% positive for a change.
- I liked how PoB acknowledged that trying to gish gallop Ame with Batman antifeats was a bad move. I also like how he hammered home his own strengths, namely damage output. He presented them as an overwhelming advantage over his opponent's defenses, that Ame couldn't refute enough for it to matter.
- Here's some general advice for anybody reading this: proving you can avoid an attack is ideal. Failing that, proving that you can resist it 100% (for instance, a sword bouncing off your armour) is the next best thing. Ame made good choices in arguing that Batman could avoid some attacks and ignore others. He didn't prove this for all of them, but he proved it enough to cast a fair bit of doubt on that match. If I was to give Ame any concessions in this defeat, it's that the round with Batman was well handled.
