"This could be a really bad place to get sick! We gotta hurry!" She puts down some force into the makeshift wind shoes to pull up Katherine. "Go go go~"

After the successful pull she gives Kathy her hand and tries to have the path of her wind form a trail above all the nasty goop. "Just trust me!" she instructs.

"Alright, but what on are you planning exactly...?"

"I'm doing well... that was a rough spot back there, I'm glad we're finally out... did she seriously wade through that entire bog?"

And, walking into the clearing, you finally see just what the source of the commotion is

"Haha and you thought I was crazy!" She chuckles before taking the situation before them more seriously.

The river's frigid - really it's probably like 60 degrees, but for running water that's fucking -cold-. Strangely enough, you don't get attacked by any octopi. Maybe they're attracted more by magic chains or yellow piss furbies.

"Oh, Kelli! Didn't expect to run into you here!"

Rivi:

Yeah, it takes a while, even with the fast-running water. I'd suggest also washing your face and hands. Also, a change of clothes might be nice if you have it - putting on wet, cold clothing in a chilly, wet climate is nothing short of disaster

The signal is...not coming from here. It's closer to the top of the mountain. "Huh? Dis-what beacon? How would I get one of those?"

Rivi tilts her head. "If she's not the distress signal... would it be higher up?"

"I mean, I don't even know what that IS!"

Innsma:
before walking out, wringing out the freezing water, and clumsily throwing it onto Snow like a hanging rack. "Brrr.....either be below freezing or smell like death goop. Sometimes you g-gotta make sacrifces..." She then goes through her backpack for a spare yet somehow identical dress.

I'll just change into another spare of my university clothes then. I do have another token with Kathy in a dress, but don't want to change it here.

"All I know is, one minute I'm sparring with this girl while Vassago and Teo talked to that one guy, and the next, bam! Everyone's gone and I'm all alone!"

"...hmm, it's coming from further up, for sure. Oh - all the Pokedexes have an emergency beacon built in, you can trigger it if you find yourself in a desperate situation, and the nearest available Ranger will come to help! Which is, well, me, for whoever this is..."

"I'll just have to take your word for it. I do wonder just what on earth those mushrooms were...those must be some powerful spores."
