Warnings and GMs
I received a warning and following lockout. So this post is partially about my personal situation, but also about the state of the game. If nothing else it's just to vent before leaving. While the current group of GMs seems better than the last, it still seems like there's a lot of BS going on.

Maybe DR's just not for me anymore. I know I'll receive a few snarky comments about how I deserve it, but the community certainly gets smaller and smaller doesn't it? I've been active for 2-3 years now, I've seen dozens of people leave, but only a handful of people join or rejoin. This is the lowest the population has ever been, Hollow Eve 2019 was the lowest it's ever been during an HE, too. Each MT event has less people at it, but they're paying bigger and bigger shares. There's certainly not less bots than there used to be.

I received a warning and resulting lockout while having an abnormal script-check that I could not answer. I was put into a lockout room unable to wake up, unable to stand, unable to respond to a GM, unable to assist. Did I deserve the warning? Maybe. My husband's character died 10-15 minutes before that and I was trying to resolve that while dealing with something IRL. They script-checked me, but ironically did not script-check him or anyone else in the room.

For clarity I did already have a warning on this character. It was roughly a year ago. However, I only play 2 characters at a time, 6-8 hours a day typically, mixing in RP, hanging out at the Empath guild (when there's actually people), MT events (I had 3 chipper weapons made!), and have no other active or inactive characters. The only other character I've received a warning on was 3~ years ago for profanity and I no longer have them.

I've tried talking to GMs in-game about it, anyone I've talked to has said that it's not their decision, and that I can relay information, but that's all.

In-game conversations with GMs they don't like script-checks, and they're not very effective. That they target the same people over and over who are already "in the system". Based upon previous GM reveals we've seen that they can see how active you are, how much time you've spent in combat, how many non-combat actions you've taken, and so forth. So what's the point exactly? Why does this weird enforcement even exist? You can walk into a room with 10 AFK F2P people but they tag the semi-whale with 2 characters that's on 1/3 of the day max? A friend of mine has 16000 deaths during Hollow Eve of 2019. Another friend has 5-7 characters logged on, uses UberCombat and hasn't logged off in literally a month. Did either of them get script-checked? lol, nope. I don't get it. Even weirder for me, I've only received script-checks during/around MT events. If I hadn't reactivated my character for HotRF I wouldn't have a penalty now. It's kind of sad.

A 40% EXP penalty on a circle 150 character, with no explanation. The lockout said it was my 4th offense, meanwhile the character has never received an EXP penalty before, none of my other active or inactive characters have warnings.

GMs told me to email drfeedback or lockout. Zero response. What a surprise.

Careful guys, you might lose months or years of training because an account you once owned cursed 3 years ago and the GMs won't even explain why.
