  3. Well, i do believe the bible. And from what I see and read in the scriptures, the homosexual lifestyle is a sin. But there are so many things that are sin also, and to focus on one shouldnt be done.
  4.
  5. As a true Christian, we should be compelled to live righteously and how God wants for our lives. Not out of duty, or law. But because we have genuinely experienced Gods love and forgiveness. When we experience that, we will naturally want to start to walk in the light, and follow what God wants for us, cause we know it is whats best, and what pleases him! So no matter what the sin is, as a Christian, we should be striving to allow God to work in us, and remove it from our lives!
  6.
  7. With homosexuality, if they are completely fine with living that lifestyle- when it says in the bible it is a sin. It is not they are going to hell because of homosexuality.
  8.
  9. It is more of a sign of have they really recieved Jesus Christ in their lives? Because when you recieve Gods forgiveness you are convicted! You want to obey him, and you don't want to follow sinful ways! Thus, if you lack any conviction, and want to continue with what you know you shouldn't be doing, have you really recieved and accepted Jesus in your Life? That should be a sign to anyone who calls themselves Christian!
  10.
  11. Are they compelled or convicted to live how God wants for them?
  12.
  13. A vast number of people who say they are Christian, are completely unaffected by being "Christian". And would live no differently saying they are a Christian or not. No matter how they are sinning. I would not say those people have genuinely recieved Christ in their life. They have only recieved a stereotypical american title of religion.
  14.
  15. Whether or not you recieve Jesus Christ in your life, as forgiveness for your sins, is the only thing that sanctifies you, and determines your relationship with God.

  24. "Well, i do believe the bible. And from what I see and read in the scriptures, the homosexual lifestyle is a sin."
  25.
  26. And that can be your opinion if you want it to be, but to force that on other people is rude.
  27.
  28. "Because when you recieve Gods forgiveness you are convicted!"
  29.
  30. I'm not sure what that even means. 90% of the above is so vague that it could mean anything.
  31.
  32. "Whether or not you recieve Jesus Christ in your life, as forgiveness for your sins, is the only thing that sanctifies you, and determines your relationship with God."
  33.
  34. You have to realize that if you don't believe in god (at least the modern day Christian version of him), then you don't give a shit about your relationship with him
  35.
  36. All I'm saying is, if you wanna be Christian, that's cool, just have enough mutual respect to allow other people to have the same liberty. All the basic ideas of Christ (the beatitudes, golden rule, etc) REALLY conflict with religious people vocally dealing judgement out to others for their lives.
  37.
  38. If you are going to mindlessly obey a book, at least do it right:
  39.
  40. "Judge not, that ye be not judged." - Matthew 7:1
