- Pop quizz : I am a campy sonic and I have the lead, which situation is better for me : When my opponent has one stock (so I have 2) or when my opponent has two stocks (thus, I have three) ?
- And the answer is... IT DOESN'T MATTER. It doesn't matter how much stock both players have at the end of a time out. All that matters is who has more stock or less percent at the end of a match.
- BUT, having two additional minutes makes it way more complicate to successfully time out, at least it gives more room for the opponent to catch up.
- Think about it : both players play very safe and player A finally takes player B's stock after 3 minutes. When is player A most likely to start camping ? When there is only 3 minutes on the clock, or when there are still 5 minutes on the clock ?
